And I work in tech support for a living!?! LMAO! To my surprise, Pete arrived at our house in response to a voice message and without a confirmed appointment. I answered the door with a mask on and kindly requested that he wear a mask since my husband is immunocompromised and has cancer. I offered him a fresh mask in the case he did not have one. Pete was adamant that he did not wear a mask and he was NOT going to wear one. When I again explained that my husband is immunocompromised and has cancer, he said "If you feel so strongly about me wearing a mask, I'm NOT the guy for your job". He turned and left. Needless to say, I am mortified at his response. I typically make the request for any visitor or service provider to wear a mask in our home prior to making arrangements. Since I did not have the opportunity to use him for my plumbing issue, I cannot comment on his plumbing skills. Called Pete, he was supposed to come between 12 and 1. at 1:15 he called and said he couldn't make it. He came the next day and fixed the issue, he snaked the drain and cleared the clog. $274 he charged!!! for 15 minutes of work he charged $274!!!!
