Trina helped us find our first rental when we moved here, then she helped find our forever home!

I was told multiple times that we were approved for a rental, even offered one that we ultimately decided against. We have taken several hours off of work to be shown houses (they give you a time to be there or you miss out, they don't ask what works for you), spoken to their staff on numerous occasions and told that we were approved and that they "really want to rent to us." This has been a 6-month or more long process of paying the applications fees twice ($200 total), and being strung along. The most recent place we put our application in on, they chose someone else because they had too many applicants, they said, and that this time--and this time alone-- they had chosen based on credit in an effort (which she reiterated is NOT their normal practice) to narrow it down. When the women called to inform me of this, she promised that she would call if another rental fitting our needs came available and reiterated that they "really want to rent to us" again. Today, I emailed them regarding another home they had for rent and was told that we aren't eligible to rent from them at all. I inquired as to why that was, as the last time I had spoken to this woman, she had told me something entirely different. I directly asked why this decision was made, as we admittedly don't have the best credit (which we were very upfront about), but do however make great money, have spectacular rental history and references. She simply said, "I don't know." I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and integrity exhibited by this company. We wasted many hours, missed time from work, and spent money to apply to their rentals rather than applying elsewhere because they had explicitly told us that we were approved to rent from them. In a time where finding a home is hard enough, this company has only made it more difficult for me and my family. If they had just been honest and upfront, it wouldn't have been an issue at all. If I could give them 0 stars I would! We turned in an application for a house for rent, they had already rented the place out. When we got the letter saying why we didn't get the place it listed my husbands criminal history (which he doesn't have!) as the reason. After reading more of it they have my husband listed as a sex offender. So we look at the included picture and there are 0 similarities in the men. My husband is Caucasian and the sex offender is African American. When we went in to clear it up they said they could not and would not change the paperwork. They have no birthdate, middle name, social security number, or location listed for the offender. The first name is even different, my husbands name is Michael and the offender is just Mike.After asking why it was on there they said it doesn't matter to them since they had already rented the place and it was only sent to us because they have to have a reason to not give us the place. So they found someone with a similar name and accused my husband with no criminal history (proof being the large arsenal and concerned carry permits we both got after the supposed incident) of being a sex offender. They also sent this misinformation to the owner of the home. read more

This "property management" company is a joke. If you are a property owner thinking of having someone manage your property for you - LOOK ELSEWHERE! The "manager", Trina Homan, is a dishonest slacker who doesn't do her job. After being promised quarterly reports of the condition of our home, Trina denied they even do this. All but one tenant provided us through this company caused severe damage to our home, yet Trina marked things as "good" or "satisfactory" when they were damaged and caused us several hundred-thousands to repair. We even had a fence in the back of our house that one tenant had run over; as the damaged fence was LAYING THERE ON THE GROUND, Trina Homan reported there was no damage! One tenant cut a giant hole in our special-order blinds in order to install an air conditioner - but again, Trina completely missed this enormous hole as there was nothing in her walk-through report regarding this damage. They do not provide adequate inspections, and you would think Trina would have to be blind not to see the damage done, even when the house had approximately 50 CONCRETE NAILS pounded into the sheetrock all throughout our home! Other large holes had been left...pet damage to flooring from pets that shouldn't have been in the home...all kinds of things that were never marked on Trina's walk-through reports upon a tenant's leaving, which caused my husband to have to spend enormous amounts of time working on the home to get it ready for the next tenants. Absolutely fed up and cancelled any further business with them, and am HAPPY to do so, as I'm certain any other company could do better! read more

Shockingly poor management and transition between managing renters in the property and owners re-taking possession. They promise one thing on the phone but never follow through. Thy said they'd either meet us there or leave the keys in a hidden spot so when I arrived from a 13+ hour drive with two small children we could get into the house - nope. They said they'd do a final walk through - nope. They said they'd return the previous tenants keys - nope. They said they'd look at the damage left by the previous tenant (specific examples were detailed to them) - nope. Then a month later they call and say everything is the owners responsibility because they're not managing it anymore! They claimed they have no forwarding address or phone number for the previous tenants and were unwilling to do a basic courtesy of contacting them to ask if they'd like to come pick up some packages that came to their old address (they are still in the area). Seriously? Awesome customer service. My advice is to avoid this office at all costs for any kind of rental situation on either the renter or the owner side. If you do, don't expect to be treated with any kind of respect or honesty. read more
