It's hard to know how to find people who will do right by you. Some of these reviews have twenty perfect five stars without even a four star. Ok... The Holbrooks helped us find our farm. They showed all the properties I was interested in, but the biggest thing was they lacked initiative. They volunteered no information on a suitable place to raise chickens and geese. There are hawks in the area we knew nothing about. The heavy rains make replacing pasture boards a must every season. The long drive into town is tiresome. Maintenance on the farm is very hard work, so many things need to be done. The houses here range from million dollar properties to some really run down ones. We knew none of this because they didn't bother getting to know us or asking what our goals were. They just showed houses. This is where most realtors are at, right in the middle. Not saying the Holbrooks were a fail, this farm is beautiful and my skills in working around all the things that keep a ten acre farm running have really improved. They also could have negotiated on our behalf, we got stuck with really bad carpet. Coming home and seeing my horses grazing on acres of green pasture with a view of Rainier, makes up for it. No tract housing development is even close to what we have. Still..I'm writing an honest review and if they had volunteered more information their score would be higher. I'd recommend them for a farm family, but coming from an executive life to a farm was very difficult for my spouse. Ok, he's not a farmer, but I spent many happy summers at my grandparents farm, so it was easier. In hindsight, I should have contacted someone more familiar with executive relo's. This is a fair score for our situation, and my spouses view. I would be willing to recommend them for people in other situations.

She responded very quickly to my initial call, met with me and visited the property immediately, and quickly had the property listed. She is very knowledgeable, responsive, and energetic. She helped set an appropriate price for the property, located prospective buyers, and was very helpful in negotiating with those buyers. The property was sold in a short time at a price agreeable to both sides. In addition to the realtor function, Juanita was invaluable in recommending the best local service providers required to prepare the property for sale, managing some of their activities once I had to return to California, and providing assistance with issues outside of the normal responsibilities of a realtor .

I have no idea where the rest of them were. I had no idea who she was until I looked at her card after they all left. Her card does not say anything but her name & phone number; no company name! Had I known that's who she was I'd never have let her in - I've heard nothing but bad things from friends that have sold their homes. Broken dry wall, a busted basket ball hoop, old carpet padding, a broken entertainment center, etc. We have already taken a full truck load to the dump, and there is at least three or four more that need to go. Not to mention the house has RATS in the attic, which we are now paying over $1,200 to get rid of. (It is possible she did not know about the rats, but seems unlikely.) We loved this house from the beginning, and did not even try to bargain on the price; we offered and paid the listing price. It is very disappointing that a "professional" conducts business is such a despicable manner.

I had what I thought was an issue about our tile roof that would require a complete replacement…read more Every roofing contractor that came suggested an expensive replacement, some without going on the roof to inspect, those who got on the roof but didn't take any pictures or moving a single tile. Jonathan was different. He was all about details and was scrupulous. He took pictures to show me areas that, down the road, may need work. He commented on the cracked screws around the vent cover, the broken seal around the skylight, the flashing being clean, the current condition of the underlayment, the protective metal shield along the perimeter of the house installed by the previous owner, etc. In spite of some minor issues, he concluded that the roof is in good condition and no repair or replacement is necessary. He didn't charge me anything for the inspection when offered . He explained well and was pleasant. Jonathan came over and checked everything out, giving us the unfortunate update that we had a lot more issues than we actually knew. When he inspected our roof for a quote, he is the ONLY roofer who took pictures to explain to us what was going on up there. He is also the ONLY roofer who followed up with us after receiving the quote. We had a small legal battle due to our inspector being negligent which is why we didn't know about any of these roofing issues. We did some research on the products they were going to use and after everything we found out it was a clear choice for us on who to proceed with. We signed a contract with them in January and we just completed our roof and gutter installation before the end of March. There was a lot more damage than what we expected which made us even more grateful that we had Jonathan and his team working on our home. He communicated with us the entire time with daily updates on their progress. We are so grateful to LeMoine Roofing and would recommend them to anyone.
