    My dog

I paid $77 for my dog, and they only gave her a bath and brushed her teeth, nothing more. They didn't comb her hair, trim her nails, or even cut her fur. She weighs 14 pounds, and she's a small dog, I ask the girl so why I'm paying 77$ dollar when you didn't do anything to her !!! they have the nerve to have such a bad attitude. Terrible service.

This is the vet that give her the shots

I went for a rabies vaccine and the lady recommended another vaccine for my cat and the vet ended giving other vaccine witch I didn't authorize and my cat died minutes after.

Worst staffing ever. Check this out. And it's only 8:08pm. I placed an order at 5:12pm and as I'm writing this in front of Petco. RACHEL staff, had the audacity to tell me. "That it wasn't picked, yet. That they are close and I need to wait till tomorrow". I mean; DONT YOU HAVE TO WAIT 2hrs to receive notifications "orders ready for pick up" . Whatever happens to that?!?!? Come to find out, the entire staff weren't obviously paying attention to online orders...... THE WORST STAFFING EVER‼

Petco is a great place for pet supplies. Not only can you purchase cat and dog items here they also have a variety of small animals birds and fish items. They also have small animals for sale such as bunny rabbits guinea pigs birds in an array of tropical fish. I frequent here for bunny supplies. The litter the food the bedding and snacks are very reasonably priced and always in stock. The thing I like about this place is you're allowed to bring your pets here so there's always the dog out to walking around to say hello to. Parking is very easy as it's located in N. Gate Shopping Center so there's extensive parking right out front. The staff I find to be very polite and willing to help. I find the shelves to be stocked well and neatly. All in all a great place to pick up a small animal bird fish or supplies.

I'd been taking my dog here to Nydia for grooms over the past couple years. Today I went in and was told Nydia was not available . Another groomer, who appeared to be the shift manager, would perform the groom. When I returned home I notice a good size cut on one of her back legs. It was clear the cut was cleaned up. The dog had no cuts anywhere on her body prior to the groom. I never had any problems such as this when using Nydia for my dog's grooms. But I do know accidents can happen and should've been told something about this injury when I picked her up. I called the groomer to find out what happened. The groomer outright lied and said she knew nothing about a cut. Nor did she even ask how the dog was. In any event I made a call to Petco corporate. No person should pick up their pet from a basic groom with a cleaned cut and told nothing happened. Never going back to Petco after this experience.

WORST VET EVER! Only make an appointment for the Health Exam. Provided EVERY information, especially the DATE of the first TWO VACCINES. The vet gave my baby kitten a third shot when she was examining WITHOUT asking for my PERMISSION. The vet's behavior was completely UNETHICAL! Usually having only one cat in the house doesn't require a third dose. The APPROPRIATE date for the third dose is three to four weeks after the second dose. It's only been TWO WEEKS since my kitten got her second shot, she's NOT ready for the third dose! This vet has NO professional knowledge at all! Then I received the bill and a CONSENT DOCUMENT. They didn't even SHOW me the document, let alone SIGN IT!I fully understand that every merchant needs to make money, but what they did is FRAUD and shows NO RESPECT FOR LIFE. I've called customer service, still waiting for their reply. I will NEVER let it go and will keep updating.

    Shelves blocked by garbage bags

Not the best Petco location. The store was a mess. I understand there are times when boxes are around a store due to stocking shelves. That was not the case here. There was literally garbage, boxes and shopping carts blocking shelves. It made the merchandise inaccessible to customers. Very, very sloppy

If I could give 0 stars I would. There was pallets of cat and dog food everywhere blocking aisles. Can barely walk through some aisles. There was also no workers to be found!! When I came in the store there was nobody there. I looked through the aisles, nobody. Not until someone was about to purchase something, they had to call for assistance to the front of the store and someone came from the back. There was also 5 dead fish in one tank with one live one. A district manager or someone needs to really check out this location.

If I could put -5 stars I would, Horrible way of treating animals, they shouldn't be selling animals if they are going to have them living like that, I love animals and it's so sad to see animals living like that, this ferret didn't have water, he had more bedding in his bowl than food he had flys in his cage, i told the girl that was working and she was so nice and change the water and food for him, but they shouldn't be living like that in the first place! Horrible!! I have two ferrets myself that I bought from Petco, but I think that either they should stop selling them if the are gonna be living under this conditions.

Sandy is so knowledgeable about dogs in general but seemed to particularly know how to train and manage the German Shepherd breed - which needs a very special kind of training. Our dog began working with Sandy at just three months old, and with her and her team's guidance, he learned to stop jumping and overcame his leash frustration during walks. After completing the three-week training program, he came home a more confident, well-behaved version of himself. We now feel comfortable taking him anywhere, and walking him has become an absolute joy. It has completely transformed our relationship with him and deepened our bond in a way that means the world to us. You can tell how much Sandy and her team truly care for the dogs--they treat them like their own, and it shines through in every interaction. We're so grateful to have found a place where we know our dog is not only safe but thriving. Sandy and her team feel like extended family, and we are forever thankful for their support.

I cannot recommend Zen Dog Training enough! We took the puppy class led by Gordon. It's truly…read moreamazing all of the content that he can fit into six sessions, and we loved that the five to ten minutes of "play time" at the beginning and end of the class gave our puppy a chance to meet other dogs and learn how to play nicely. (Side note: we always felt so safe during this time as Gordon is great at keeping an eye on pups and recognizing signs of play getting too rough). Our puppy, Puck, learned a variety of commands throughout his six weeks in the class: sit, down, stand, stay, his own name, leave it, "let's go" to get moving on walks, and "heel" to stay by our side on walks. He also learned many behavior corrections. Puck literally stopped play biting in 2 days after using Gordon's "out of the pack" technique (that alone made the class worth it to us), and Gordon's "leash step" tactic is already working on curbing his jumping on new people. Most importantly for us, WE learned so much as dog owners! Gordon taught us about puppy socialization, how to help our dog build confidence, which training tools we should have, and how to make sure we are recognizing and responding to any signs of him becoming a "fearful" dog. The experience with Gordon was truly invaluable and I think we would be lost as new puppy owners if we hadn't done this class. We were on the fence about paying for a puppy class and thought maybe we could find all of our resources on Google and using podcasts alone. Folks, I am here to say that you should not try to take dog training into your own hands. You truly get what you pay for -- this class is so worth it, and Gordon is a true professional. We have zero regrets about our decision to attend! One thing to keep in mind with this class (and probably any good puppy class) is that you do have to put in work outside of the class. Gordon really stressed this and made sure we all understood what our "homework" was for the week, and had access to training materials that we could review in between classes. I think if you are looking for a perfect solution where the trainer will train your dog for you, then this might not be the class for you -- but if you are looking to learn how to train your dog, and are invested in making sure you work in training sessions every day for the 6 week duration, then you truly couldn't find a better place than Zen Dog! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Gordon for all of your work with Puck - we will miss the Tuesday class :) --Mary & Brandon

He gave us so many games to play with our dog to reinforce good behaviors and helped us correct behaviors like barking and biting that we didn't want in a way that wasn't scary or painful for our Nessie which was so great because I probably wouldn't have been able to be harsh towards her. She's incredibly sweet and submissive with other dogs, but she loved to jump on people and had a habit of pulling hard on the leash during walks. At 60 pounds, it was definitely a lot to manage! From the start, Kylie and the Atlantic K9 team were amazing--professional, knowledgeable, and so caring. Brinley attended their two-week bootcamp, and I'll admit, it was hard sending her away for that long with no visits. I was worried she might feel abandoned, but Atlantic K9 made the experience so much easier. They uploaded pictures every day of her playing with other dogs, looking happy and confident, with a smile bigger than I've ever seen on her. It was clear she was having the time of her life--more like a fun vacation than "training camp." When Brinley came home, the transformation was incredible. She has great recall, walks beautifully on leash, and I can now even let her walk off-leash with full confidence. She's learned to stay in her "place," respond to "no" consistently, and--best of all--she no longer jumps on people! I'm so grateful to Kylie and the entire Atlantic K9 team for their compassion, communication, and the amazing results they delivered. Brinley is happier, calmer, and more connected to me than ever. I can't recommend Atlantic K9 Training enough!

We reached out the Atlantic at a complete loss of how to help our sweet Ollie boy succeed. They were nothing but kind, communicative and supportive during our initial conversations, and put us completely at ease about sending our boy to the two-week bootcamp, a choice that was incredibly hard for us! Ollie is a five year old Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix who went to training pre-pandemic and has always been incredibly shy with strangers. Before 2020, this manifested as leash reactivity and we were working hard at it when social distancing went into place. Post-pandemic, we tried every method we could find to try and help him with this, but despite all efforts, his reactivity increased tenfold to include dogs and small children. Sometimes he would he completely fine, and other times, he would aggressively bark and lunge at dogs and kids. It was so stressful that we started keeping him away from other dogs, and our small nieces and nephews to be safe. Ollie's alert barking additionally reached an all time high in the summer of 2023, and his counter-surfing was out of control. We decided it was officially time to get professional help. My husband and I want to start a family soon, and were terrified to think that Ollie's unpredictability could jeopardize his relationship with our future kids. His alert barking was creating a near-constant level of stress in our home, and we couldn't imagine how Ollie would be able to function happily or be involved as our family continues to grow. Throughout the two weeks of bootcamp, we got daily communication about Ollie's progress from the team and pictures of him playing happily during break times. Most importantly, however, K-9 Atlantic has completely transformed our boy, and given us the utmost confidence that Ollie will be the BEST big brother someday. He is literally like a different dog in all of the best ways. He's still our sweet, snuggly, silly boy, but without all of the incessant barking and sneakiness! His reactivity is now basically nonexistent, and he happily plays with our little nieces and nephews when they come over! He is a rockstar on and off-leash. We've even slowly integrated meeting new dogs in controlled settings, and he has been so very successful. He hasn't even counter surfed (despite us purposely leaving chicken on the counter in his reach in order to practice!!!!). Ollie's newfound confidence shines in his ability to meet new people and have experiences without all of the anxiety that he displayed prior to his time at K-9 Atlantic. He is the best version of himself, and we are so beyond proud of the good boy his has become!!! I don't know what magic the K-9 Atlantic team did with him while he was training, but we cannot believe that he is the same dog. He has been SO good, and an absolute angel while practicing. We are beyond grateful for everyone at Atlantic for truly transforming our boy and our lives. We can never thank you enough!

I wanted a trainer who could work on every day puppy manners around the home in addition to leash training. Prior to training, our pup was a handful - as a large breed, he was already 75 lbs at 6 months and his pulling and lunging while on a leash was becoming dangerous. I'm 5'9 and he would lunge suddenly while walking on leash and he would literally pull me off my feet. He also would bite everything - not aggressive, just puppy mouthing, but it was non stop. He could not be left alone unsupervised for even short periods of time (like cooking dinner in the other room) because you would find him chewing a couch leg, etc. We picked him up from his training this week. I am shocked at how well his training went. BryAnne truly loves dogs and treated my pup like one of her own. She gave us frequent video and photo updates. From her videos, I could see that she clearly made my pup feel at home in her house. When our dog came home, we joked that we picked up the wrong pup. Where was the 75lb maniac? The first night, I assumed he was calm because he was just exhausted from running around during our training session (BryAnne worked with us for over an hour to show us all the training). But we are a few days out now and the change is remarkable. He's calm on the leash, plays appropriately, but he's still our snuggle bug. He's a pleasure to have around the house (no jumping, nipping at feet, etc.) We will continue to work with BryAnne to make sure we keep working on his training skills. We now have a strong foundation to build on. Thank you, BryAnne, for all of your hard work with our good boy!
