    I was overcharged for essential shampoo product without my knowledge for extra $24. My estimate for dog grooming was $93 (basic bath and haircut) and ended up $126 with taxes. Not a honest business practice will not come back.

    The worst part of the store is it's staff. 99% of them. You can never find one when you need them. Even if you find them they don't look enthusiastic to be speaking with you. They have a great selection of Beta Fish, and baby Beta's too. The rest of the selection is very basic. Mainstream name brands we know but nothing out of the ordinary for a Pet Store. I only come here when I desperately need to and I'll keep it that way.

    Yesterday I went to pickup a online order. I told the cashier (Luis) that i was there for a pickup. He page the manager for assistance. I'm still waiting for the manager. I ask the cashier if he could get the manager because i was on a hurry, that's why I placed the order online because i didn't have much time and it wasn't fair that customer that came after me where been taking care before me since I was still waiting for the manager. The cashier (Luis) said that he's job was to be at the register since he was the cashier. his job duties include customer service too and that i needed assistance. The cashier started been very rude with me. Finally the manager comes and the cashier was still talking rude to me even knowing I was explaining myself to the manager and i wasn't talking to him. At some point the cashier and me went back and forward because i got tiered of him been disrespectful with me while I was talking with the manager. I also apologized to the manager because at some point i did answer the cashier back but I told that it was just to much for me to stay quiet. Even when I ask for the cashier name and the phone number for the district so that i can make a complain, the cashier was responding all this with a really bad attitude. I told him I wasn't talking to him ( the cashier) but he just keep going. At no point the manager (Dan) said anything to the employee. The Manager didn't delegate at all. He didn't even ask the employee to stop... The manager look scared about the employee and the situation. When the manager handle the piece of paper to me with the cashier name, phone number for the complain and his name, the manager hands where shaking. I honestly feel bad for the manager because obviously he was very nervous but also I would appreciate having a manager that can delegate his duties. Its my understanding that every work position with Petco included customer service

    Its a chain box store. It was clean and had what I wanted. They could benefit from more than one register, but otherwise its fine.

We had a straight-to-the-point phone consultation the week prior to my appointment. Fast forward to the day of the training session. We met outside my apartment, with the intention of working on my dog to be calm with me leaving briefly in public. The vibe was off as soon as we made our polite but reserved introductions. Instead of listening to my gut, I proceeded with the one-hour training session, wanting to be proven wrong. Spoiler alert, my gut was right. The whole one-hour training session was tinged with an air of judgment and condescension. Curtis made little effort to inquire about behavior management choices and came across as having already made assumptions about me. I tried to volunteer information for context, and I all got was "interesting" or "okay" in a judgmental tone. We eventually moved into my apartment to work on some mental exercises with my dog and the vibe was still off. After a certain point, I felt disempowered from asking questions or speaking up because Curtis didn't really foster a collaborative training environment where I felt like a co-participant. I'd honestly like my money back for feeling this way in my own home. Overall, I would go to another trainer in the future.

Prior to working with Daniel, my dog, Eugene, would bark, spin, mouth, run, and turn into a high-energy dog whenever someone entered my space, then stay high-energy after they left. It made me nervous having guests over. I put off dog training because I thought I could Google and read my way to a solution, we had a decent foundation in obedience on our own, and, frankly, Eugene and I had been stuck in our ways for some five years together. I wasn't sold on dog training. How wrong I was! Daniel's expertise went above and beyond anything I could've figured out myself. He helped me apply the obedience work we'd already done to create stronger boundaries and a better relationship. He noticed a few quirks in Eugene that meant generic dog advice just wasn't enough. Because Daniel has read so extensively in addition to his real-life experience, he could call out advice I'd picked up that wasn't serving us or help put it in context. Daniel is also dedicated to making the training process efficient -- he's not trying to sell you sessions you don't need -- and he makes himself available between sessions, which was a godsend as we were working through new behaviors. At the initial assessment he observed us and Asher before sitting down & creating a gameplan for training. His training proved priceless, after a week we began to notice a difference & now a month later it is like he is a new dog. An additional benefit is that Daniel made it clear that we could text him any time with questions.     Before it was my turn, I overheard a conversation between two people. There was a man in front of…read moreme who also bought fish. The staff member even told him that the fish might get eaten, but still sold it to him anyway. Yet when it came to my turn, things were completely different! I asked if there were still angelfish in the tank, and she didn't even bother to look and just said there weren't any. I told her I could see one in there, and only then did she check. After that, she started questioning me: "How many gallons is your tank?" I answered 44 gallons, and she smirked, saying she had never heard of a 44-gallon tank! Then she asked how many fish I had, and when I said 5 angelfish, she flatly refused to sell me the fish. Her attitude was extremely poor. It seemed clear that she noticed I wasn't a native speaker, since my English isn't perfect, and that made her treat me even worse. Meanwhile, I have owned and cared for many fish with multiple tanks at home. My fish are always healthy and well taken care of. Being treated as if I was irresponsible felt completely unfair and very disrespectful. This experience only reinforces why I will support local fish stores instead -- where staff are knowledgeable, respectful, and truly care about the animals. I will never buy fish here again.

I should've know something was wrong when I get a pick up call after 1 hr. My dog was still wet and not fully dry. It's 34 degrees outside. I can empathize with groomer saying I'm sorry you're not happy, but got nothing from this person. When I returned after paying my dog was on another groomer's table. That groomer was blowing drying him. Prior to leaving to pay I asked them not to touch him. So why did the other groomer have on the table blow drying him. So they can't even follow simple instructions like "please don't touch my dog." Look at my poor dog's face. He knows he got a crappy groomer. The worse grooming my baby has ever had. Beware!
