Horrible, bought 7 fish here and 4 died. Told I had to bring in a watersample and when I let them know I had released the fish and the water they sent with them I was told that because I put their water in my tank that they would not replace the fish. Our snomageddon 2021 rescue baby (cat from Texas) is having crazy seasonal allergies. I found this homeopathic solution on Petco's website and it said the store had it in stock. Living down the street I figured it would be easier to just go in and try to find it. I love this Petco because the aisles are wide and things are easy to find. The staff is always super helpful but they don't hover. I was shocked when the price tag on the drops was $17. Online it says it's marked down to $5.97. The super sweet cashier told me they always price match so I did manage to purchase them for the lower deal. I was in and out of there in less than five minutes and the drops worked well on Katniss! Yesterday evening (5/1/25) I visited Petco on NW Expressway. I was almost to the register with my items. There was a lady in front of me with her small dog on a leash, also waiting in line. Her dog accidentally peed on the floor, and the owner went to the register clerk and asked for paper towels. She was told there were some at the end of an aisle nearby, including a mop. She found it and began placing the paper towels on the floor; this was in view of the register clerks. There was quite a bit, and when I looked back again, the wetness on the floor had spread and covered more area as she tried to clean. By this time, I was at the counter to check out. I asked the clerk 'Do you not call for clean-up assistance when pets have accidents?'. Her reply was: 'No, we encourage owners to clean up after their pets.' I WAS SHOCKED. I told her that's terrible customer service and makes me want to shop elsewhere. What happens if a customer becomes ill and vomits on the floor? Do they ask the customer to clean it up? Or a customer accidentally spills a Petco product on the floor. What if the owner doesn't clean up adequately, and someone slips and injures themselves? Or the owner slips? What if a child drops their stuffed animal in the area that's still wet? And last but not least, what if the owner gets excrement on their hands, doesn't realize it, and then touches other items in the store, including the credit card machine? THIS IS DANGEROUS AND A HEALTH HAZARD. read more

I visited this Petco this evening to look at the fish but I was shocked whenever I saw the state of the small animal enclosures. The ferrets, rats, and some other small rodents had cages that were filthy, with poop smeared on the walls of a few of them, what looked like poop possibly mixed in with their pellets (wasn't entirely sure if that was poop or old dried wet food or something, but either way it wasn't sanitary looking at all), and flies living in some of the enclosures. There were 2 ferret cages and both were in the same disgusting state of neglect with piles of poop in the corner and flies in the habitat (due to the piles of poop). This is neglect, plain and simple. With that many small animals in such a small space, it is absolutely CRITICAL that any store selling those animals make sure that all enclosures are properly cared for and clean. I did email Petco support on their website and will be following up to make sure that this issue is addressed. I will likely not shop at this location again, however, unless this is thoroughly handled and things make a significant change for the better. As a note - I have kept small animals in the past and there is no excuse for this level of neglect - especially from a business where caring for animals is their whole job. read more

a minute ago I've been taking one of my dogs here for almost 2 yrs to get groomed and it's never been an issue until recently. She been groomed by 4 different stylist that I know off and have been amazing. Recently, got another dog and took them both in to be groomed for Christmas and had an encounter with Mike, not sure how long he's been there. Did well with the newer dog but not the older dog. I wanted both their feet done which he did but the older dog had redness around her eyes and asked why there's redness around her eyes; no response from his him. But the issue is he did not clean up around her mouth. So today I go back to see if I can bring her back so her mouth can be cleaned and he refuses stating he couldn't do it because of aggression. First I'm hearing about this especially since none of the other 4 stylist have said anything to me. Likely a lie because if she was that aggressive, how was he able to clean around her eyes to cause the redness but can't clean around her mouth? All I need is to have her mouth area cleaned and I'm told no because they need to speak with their manager before anything can be done. I even asked to be put on the schedule while they are communicating to that manager and he says he can't do that. The manager is not back for another 2 days and I have to wait I find out whether or not I can bring her in to fix something that can be done in about 5-10 mins. Very frustrating because we're supposed to be going out of town and now I have to go find someone else to fix his mess and pay when I already did pay $95 for this service. Worst part about this whole thing is his attitude. There's no remorse from someone who's supposedly caring for people's pets. Definitely will never want this man to place hands on anyone one of my girls again. I love the other stylist so I'll make sure to only ever chose them. read more

I normally don't leave reviews but I had to this time.Took my poodles to Petco on nw expressway back in May, one of my poodles was cut so bad that I couldn't believe it. I was told the groomer use the wrong gard when she cut my dog, so they ask me to come back so they could fix it and it was better. I said I wouldn't take them there again but I did anyway and when I tell you I was PIST off again!!!! They shaved her bald!!! That was shame on me for taking her the second time. Well NEVER again...They are the worst groomers and DO NOT know how to cut dogs.. only one friendly groomer and she's the one that messed my dog up last time..the other groomer never smiled NOT once and seems very hateful towards the dog she was grooming. My dog was acting like she was abused when she got home. I'm not sure if they just hire anyone because help is hard to come by, but NEVER AGAIN!! read more

Whatever you do, do not come here for grooming or any business as far as I'm concerned. Cynthia C aka Cindy did my dog yesterday and completely destroyed my dog's coat by shaving her whole body. I specifically told her these dogs aren't supposed to be shaved!!!! Any groomer knows you don't shave dogs with undercoats. You know she did this on purpose and has no regards for anyone's pet life!!! Literally was too lazy just to trim and bathe my dog and doesn't even ask for my dog to be shaved!! we took my maltipoo to get a cut and he came back looking HORRENDOUS!!! his hair was cut unevenly and even falling out. Some parts were longer than others, and one leg wasn't cut entirely. They also left his face, which was what needed to be cut the most, left uncut and unwashed. I'm very disappointed and upset with the service and won't be taking my dog there ever again. Very disappointed in the customer service. I work 830-530 I went online to schedule a grooming for my rat terrier the latest time was 6PM and that time worked perfect! I get a call from the manager saying we need to re-schedule the one person that works late has closing stuff to do. She said we could do 545 since it was a rat terrier and no haircut. The next day I get a text from a guy asking me to come at 4 that's the latest he can do because the grooming is 2-3 hours. One of the best stores in OKC. The store is stocked well with a variety of selections when it comes to hamsters. We picked up 2 hamsters, cages, hamster balls, bedding, etc on in one trip. The store is pretty clean and there is plenty of parking since it is located in a large strip mall. I'm not a dog owner, but their grooming staff is staffed well. Normally, I see 2-3 people cutting furs all the time. There is variety of fishes, tanks, etc for your aquarium needs as well. The checkout stand is awesome. It's quick and convenient. Normally, I'm only in line for less than 3 minutes before it's my turn to checkout. I only gave them 4 stars because of the availability of knowledgeable staff members. I noticed there is only 1 person, who seems to be the floor manager, who could answer any questions or can help customers with animal purchases. She definitely deserve a huge raise. read more

They look and smell incredible...I am over the moon happy...this is my new "groomer go to". The groomers are "dog charmers". I visited this store monday March 19 th at 6:40 pm completely ignored by the associate she was busy counting her register I found what I came to get fairly quick but I had a question about a different product I went to ask her and I was reminded store was closing I got her irritated but went to the register where my purchase was already there then she went and helped someone else before me I'm a senior citizen I guess she doesn't like older people I spent $48 dollars and asked for a plastic bad she said it's 10 cents they charge because Aldi next door charges for their bags so if I don't like it I can complain it's not money I didn't want to charge 10 cents on my card Brandi was very rude I have 4 dogs I'm a regular but will go back to pets mart from now on people like that should not work in retail I work in retail for 20 years customer service and how you talk to your customer comes first! read more

Lori Mcclure was very unprofessional and behaved inappropriately. She raised her voice at a clearly stressed puppy, pointed at her, grabbed her behind the neck, and the puppy nipped at her. She proceeded to tell my boyfriend she needed to go to "puppy rehab..." a six month old puppy... It's obvious she just didn't want to honor the appointment because the first thing she told my boyfriend was that he needed to call ahead for appointments booked online (it doesn't say that anywhere on the website). The assistant said she was having personal issues outside of work and she was seen leaving the store shortly after. Our puppy has been to the groomers twice before and we've never had these issues. read more

Casey did an amazing job with Izzie. She really took her time to make sure it was a comfortable experience for my girl. I told Casey that Izzie wasn't too fond of the grooming part so she got that out of the way 1st. Then, she let her take a break. After some coaxing and some treats, she gave her a bath and wrapped up. Iz was happy and looked great when I returned 2 hours later. Casey even made detailed notes in the system for the next time I take Izzie to my local Petco groomer in Dallas so it's a more enjoyable experience for her next time. read more

I explained to her that I had just taken Bear and I had no idea how to cut his hair, she immediately let me know what was typical and what options I had, and helped me make the decision. I can't even tell you how horrible of a job these people would have done on my dog (thank god we didn't get that far)! When I began checking in for my appt I was told they wouldn't complete the full service I'd booked, even though I'd called ahead of time to confirm. While I was discussing this with the man that was checking me in, an incredibly rude woman comes up to the desk leans across it in my face and tells me to "lower my voice" as she's raising hers. Then she makes me leave the room "because she has a pregnant girl grooming an aggressive dog" which sounds like a whole other issue to me. Once I got tired of her unprofessional behavior I asked for her general manager. She goes and gets another woman, who's name tag did not identify her as management at all. This woman proceeds to get 4 inches FROM MY FACE and grabbed my arm! I guess Petco doesn't value covid precautions either! Today I was cursed at, devalued, and put at risk by these people. I've called corporate offices to file a formal complaint as well. Don't let any pet you love near these people and don't spend a penny at this store! read more

Compared to my preferred pet store...dirty store & more expensive! I bought about 1 1/2 lbs. of their pet bar treats on Sunday. Two nights later, our Golden Retriever puppy threw up first, and then our Miniature Schnauzer threw up twice. The pet bar treats were the only new food item that wasn't part of their regular assortment of treats. Maybe, I should have had a clue when I noticed that Petco was remodeling their pet bar and the fly inside one of the containers. Plus, does everyone use the provided pet scoop? read more

They have special occasion attire and treats to go along with holidays or famous movies. Always go here to get the little peke treats and special shampoo.
