Delphine and her crew did an amazing job giving my English bulldog a bath, de-shed treatment and cutting his nails! We've been turned away other places due to our dog hating getting his nails trimmed, but Delphine was able to get the job done! He came out super happy and smelt amazing!!! Highly recommend! All staff was super welcoming and you can tell they care about the dogs!

I took my newly adopted 12 year old dog to be groomed, he is very scared around people and dogs and needs to be muzzled when he goes to the vet, other groomers have muzzled him as well and had no issues. Petco states that they will not muzzle dogs and if the dog won't come willingly they are unable to groom the animal. They probably spent about 30 seconds trying to get a collar on my dog, did not allow me to help and told me they wouldn't take him. I chose to go here due it being cheaper than other groomers, now I know why. If you are working with animals you need to realize they are not all one hundred percent onboard with strangers and strangers situations. I feel they gave up very early and didn't give my dog a chance. Guess I'm back to the pricier groomer, but he actually took the time to make my dog comfortable and also did a great job with him.

My shitzu looking beautiful in her 5 months. SHE LOVE TO FEEL CLEAN.

I will leave my initial review here but want to provide an update: my concerns were addressed and…read morethe situation was fairly handled. I wasn't asked to update my review but given their professionalism and willingness to listen to my feedback, I felt compelled to update my review. I encourage all dog parents to trust the bark avenue staff with their babies. They do a phenomenal job and truly care. Initial review: I've brought my Beagle mix Sookie here many times, mostly for overnight stays. In the past, the staff has always been friendly and communicative. They gave us a tour our first day and the space is clean and designed to give the pups plenty of space to play. I liked that we could check out their Facebook page to see how Sookie was doing in photos and videos. During Sookie's last stay, we got a voicemail from the staff letting us know that she wasn't going to have open play with all of the other dogs. Apparently, she had gotten too rowdy and would need to be placed in a smaller group. In addition, we would be charged an extra $5 per night for her stay because she would require extra attention. (We got this call day 2 of a 9 day stay.) I was upset, not because of the price increase but because I was concerned about Sookie. She is sweet but can be super hyper at times. Still, they'd never before expressed to me that she had behavioral issues during her other stays. I called back to get further explanation but kept missing the owner/manager. I left at least one voicemail, maybe two after the initial time they picked up and we spoke, just to see if Sookie had progressed. No one got back to me and I didn't see any pictures of her on social media which I thought was odd. When we went to pick her up, I expressed my disappointment, letting a staff member know that I didn't see Sookie on their Facebook after her first day there. Sookie's energy was very low when she got home and she was shedding a lot more hair than usual. Maybe she was stressed out? I don't know what her experience was like after day 2 because no one ever got back to me to let me know. Was she put in a kennel and only let out certain times? I have no idea.

He has groomed our long-haired rescue Dachshund 3 times now. I was very worried about handing her over to him, as she suffers from a great deal of social anxiety and separation anxiety and has been known to growl and snap at strangers. The first two times Roman groomed her, she came out looking beautiful and surprisingly relaxed. I was thrilled. The next time did not go as well, unfortunately, but Roman handled it like the amazing pro he is. He had groomed my dog entirely, but when he went to cut her nails, she had a diarrhea attack in his van. He explained this to me, patiently. I was mortified, but Roman's concern was not for himself or his van, but only for my dog-- he wanted to figure out what triggered her response to make sure it didn't happen again. I feel lucky indeed to call myself a client of Roman and his Dog Gone Clean Mobile Salon!

We elected to go with a mobile groomer so we wouldn't displace the dogs by taking them to the vet or pet store. I have to say Roman made each one feel so comfortable and he did a great job with them. He also surprised each one with a bandana. We will definitely be using him again.

My dogs have always come out looking great, and I've been happy with the work the groomers themselves have done. Unfortunately, the communication and customer service have become so frustrating that I've decided to look for another groomer. Trying to get in touch with the office or schedule an appointment is unnecessarily difficult. It often feels almost impossible to get a response, and when I do communicate what I need, it doesn't seem to be listened to. For example, I specifically explained that Fridays are the only day I'm available, yet I was offered a Tuesday appointment. It's incredibly frustrating to repeatedly explain your availability and feel like the information is simply being ignored. Another issue I constantly run into is that I'll call and leave a voicemail specifically requesting a phone call back, but instead, I receive a text message. Even though the voicemail specifically states if you wanna text ask for a text, and if you wanna call, ask for a call. I understand that scheduling can be difficult and that appointments may not always be available on the day a customer wants. However, there's a big difference between not having availability and not communicating effectively with the customer. I would have been completely understanding if I had simply been told that there were no Friday appointments available. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and the difficulty getting help with scheduling have reached a point where it's no longer worth the frustration for me. Good grooming is important, but good customer service and communication are also a huge part of running a business. Sadly, the scheduling and communication issues have ultimately caused them to lose me as a customer.
