We were not offered another appt to perform this service. With automated systems in place, how hard is it to alert customers when there is a schedule change? We've been clients of Country Club Kennels for the past five years…read more We've always had real difficulty boarding our two dogs. We've boarded in three different states in multiple facilities, and each time its just full of trauma, and if our dogs could report us to an abuse agency they would do just that. When arrive at Country Club both of my pets are eager to go inside. They are greeted like family members, and they immediately run to the back of the facility so they can go to the outdoor area. We've also done grooming too, and our dogs look great and they are not freaked out. We use Country Club for boarding at least four times a year. If we didn't have them we would have a very difficult time going anywhere without our dogs. Finding Country Club has been a huge difference for us.

We have (had) 2 dogs. When I first moved here, I had an 11 year old cocker spaniel, Brady, who was…read moregroomed regularly but not very good about it (he was an abused rescue who nipped at anyone trying to pick him up or mess with him). I was nervous to introduce a new groomer (for him and for them). After his first grooming, they realized he was a bit of a challenge and from that point on, he was only assigned to Lee for grooming. She was always pleasant, never complained about his antics and did a great job with him. I could tell she got to know Brady, because she would tell us that she had a system of getting him up on the table (using the lift) as he did not like being picked up. Brady has since passed, but we were grateful to find a nice groomer. My husband has a 7 year old Boxer (Rowan) and she's been going there fairly regularly for boarding and sometimes daycare for about three years. She loves going and we can tell she gets lots of playtime because she passes out in the car on our 5 minute ride home. We've also taken the boxer for behavior training and the instructor was great and the classes reasonably priced. The facilities appear clean and maintained and the staff is always helpful and pleasant. If I had any complaint, it would be that I don't understand the boarding/daycare pricing. It seems like we pay a different rate every time we go... And I can't figure out the boarding + daycare pricing system. I also feel that if you're boarding my dog, daycare should be included in the price. I wonder If I don't pay extra for daycare does my dog have to sit in the kennel all day? Finally, it would be nice if when you first board there, they offered to show you the facilities... Where our dog would be staying. It kind of feels like we are not welcome "behind the staff door"... Where they walk our pups off to at drop-off. I believe the facilities are probably fine, because the rest of the facility looks nice, but it may relieve some concerns when you leave your dog for the first time to have a tour of the boarding kennels and play areas.

They slowly introduced him to the other dogs so not to over whelm him. When he was picked up on his fist day he was calmer than previously , & wiped out! We could not be more happy!

The second they realize we're getting close to BARK CITY, they're both up at the window, tails going a million miles an hour, barking like they've just spotted their long-lost best friends. At this point, I'm pretty sure they know the route better than I do! The staff is absolutely incredible. They know Dusty and Maverick so well and treat them like family. And judging by how exhausted and happy they are when they come home, I'm pretty sure they spend the entire day partying while I'm working! What makes BARK CITY so special is everything they offer: Multiple photos throughout the day -- I get to watch my boys play, lounge, socialize, and apparently have a much more exciting social life than I do. Daily report cards -- I love getting the scoop on what they did all day. Honestly, I sometimes know more about their day than I know about mine! Live webcams -- Because apparently I need to check in on them while they're having fun without me. And yes... I do. More than once. Grooming services -- They come home clean, fresh, and looking handsome enough to make me wonder if they even belong to me! The shop -- Toys, treats, and everything a spoiled pup could possibly want. And somehow, Dusty and Maverick always seem to think they need something new. BARK CITY is so much more than daycare--it's their happy place. It's part of our routine, and honestly, I think they'd move in if I let them! Dusty and Maverick give BARK CITY four very enthusiastic paws up... and I absolutely agree! Thank you to the entire BARK CITY team for loving, caring for, and spoiling my two boys. They couldn't be happier--and neither could I!

Prior to finding Superdogs we had tried three other dog care facilities and each were sub par. We then tried at home pet care but this left our dog alone most of the day. Out of necessity we decided to give Superdogs a go and it turned out to be a great decision. In the previous daycares our dog would put the breaks on and it would take two people to drag him in. With Superdogs he couldn't get through the door fast enough! He suffered from hip dysplasia and the staff were always very attentive to this issue, and made sure he didn't overexert himself. Without me even asking they had a corner set up with additional foam floor cushioning to support his heavy bones. Over the years they have continually gone the extra mile. When I was pregnant they helped me get my dog out of my car whenever they spotted me pull up, if I forgot dogs treats or food they would have it covered or if they noticed my dogs nails were a tad bit too long they would trim them without a thought. Judy the owner e-mailed me a month or so ago asking how Walter was doing as she hadn't seen him in while. We hadn't brought him to Superdogs as he was having issues standing due to advanced age. Judy offered some great advice and It showed me that it is not just a business to them. They just love what they do and care about their clients. Thank you Niamh Campbell

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I feel people should know about our experience…read more We brought our dog here because it was much closer than the daycare she had been attending. At her previous daycare, everyone loved her and always commented on what a sweet dog she was. Her veterinarian's office has always spoken highly of her as well. We only made the switch because the location was more convenient. Looking back, we should have trusted our instincts. As soon as we arrived, she didn't want to go inside. I actually had to carry her through the door, which is completely out of character for her. When we picked her up, instead of speaking with us privately, a staff member criticized our dog at length in front of other customers. We were told she had to be continually reprimanded, kept on a leash, and eventually spent most of the day alone in a crate. This was shocking to hear, especially since we have never received feedback like this from her previous daycare or her veterinary team. When I tried to explain that this had never happened before and that everyone who has cared for her has always described her as a sweet dog, I was interrupted with, "Will you let me finish?" before the criticism continued. The entire conversation felt condescending and took place in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Whether or not our dog was a good fit for this daycare, the way we were treated was unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy and compassion. We were also disappointed to be told that, after being kept on a leash, she ultimately spent most of the day alone in a crate. That was certainly not what we expected when we paid for a full day of daycare. We understand that difficult conversations sometimes need to happen, but they should be handled respectfully and privately. I hope they reconsider how they communicate with pet owners in the future because no one should leave feeling embarrassed the way we did.
