    Around her neck, small cut

    Bad experience with the skill of the groomer! My dogs haircut was totally uneven and she even has small cuts and redness around her neck. Will not bring her back here! I don't normally take the time to leave reviews but figured if this can prevent another dog from this experience it's worth it.

    Horrible grooming service. This was my first time taking my dog here for grooming services and I will never come back. Lucero rushed the service and left patches of long hair all over his face, ears and body. I'm better off paying the extra $20-30 at Tailwaggers where they take their time and offer great service. You should do the same!

    Terrible. The website says It closes at 8. I ran over here on foot with my 4 year old son for them to be closed? Not OK! Update your hours on the site!

    On November 4th, I took my labradoodle, Ollie, into the LA Beverly Petco for a grooming appointment. I rescued Oliver in March. Taking him to his grooming appointment, I was nervous. In front of me was a young woman checking in her dog for an appointment and the associate checking in the dog was very friendly. It made me feel at ease, at the moment. The associate took the other dog into the grooming area. I waited for my groomer, Lucero, to come out. After a few minutes, she came out and wasn't very friendly. It felt as if she didn't want to be there. She automatically saw Ollie and stated that he should be classified as a XL dog... not Large. I said I wasn't sure what classified him as an XL. She asked if he weighed more than 80 lbs. I said I think that he does weigh over 80 lbs. And then she changed it in the system to XL. I then proceeded to tell her that he had some matted hair in some spots - something I've been trying to control since I rescued him. She told me that it was going to take longer and it was going to cost extra. She told me about potential "hickey-like" marks that could happen if the matting is too close to the skin where she would have trim. Her demeanor and tone made me feel like I was a terrible parent. I signed the paperwork stating that any marks caused by the matting wouldn't not be the groomers fault. Before I left Ollie, I signed up for Vital Care so I could take Ollie into a Petco Vet whenever he had issues. I left Ollie around 1:15 pm. I shopped around and got some Soothing Lotion spray just in case Ollie had some marks due to the matting. At around 4:20 pm, I got a call from Lucero saying that Ollie was ready to be picked up. I said I would be on my way shortly as I was in the middle of unloading all my groceries from the grocery store. At around 4:50 pm, I get a call from Petco again. I answer and say that I am on my way. The man on the other line stated that his name is Felix, the assistant manager, and that his groomer had to leave for the day and that I needed to come pick up my dog. I apologized and said that I was on my way. When I arrived, I rushed in and immediately started apologizing to the young man who greeted me. He was very friendly and took me to the kennels where Ollie was being held. Ollie was happy to see me and he looked great. No one went over the grooming and the cashier rung me up. I didn't think to inspect the grooming before leaving the facility, since I already felt bad for apparently being late to pick him up. It was $100 dollars and after using a couple coupons, the total was $50 before adding the tip... which I gave 20%. Later that night, I took Ollie to my friend's place and he kept rubbing himself against her furniture. I thought it was because of the haircut and shrugged it off. Well, when I got home that night, I took a closer look at his haircut. That's when I took these pictures. In the picture of his neck, you can also see part of his fur that is still long... that the groomer completely missed. And the picture of his paw, you can see she didn't even cut his fur around his paw. The parts on his body that are close-shaven were not matted before I brought him. I felt so horrible and kept apologizing to Ollie. I put the soothing lotion on him and had to put him in his onesie that I put him in when he got neutered. He automatically shuts down and isn't the playful puppy that he usually is. The next day, I was telling my mom about it and sent her the pictures. She immediately started crying. She knew that Ollie must've been so scared and she said that the groomer was negligent and that those marks are not caused because of the matting. The groomer wasn't paying attention and was cutting too close. My mom reminded me that when she picked up Ollie from his previous owner, his hair was matted worse than when I had him. She reminded me that when she took him to the Petco in Idaho, they trimmed him and he didnt have those marks at all. Here are pictures of Ollie when my mom picked him up and after his grooming appointment in Idaho. I contacted Petco corporate to file the complaint. This was on Friday, November 5th. On Monday, I missed a call from Mariana, the store manager. She said she was sorry to hear about my complaint and that she would attempt to call back later that day. Or that I could call her the next day. I never received a call back from Mariana. I had no missed calls and voicemails. I have reached out to the LA Beverly over the course of two weeks and have not been able to reach Mariana. I called one day and spoke to an associate who said she would be in at 7 am the next day. I called the next day around 11ish and Felix, the assistant manager, answered. He said she was "not in today". I was very frustrated because I shouldn't have to be the one to chase down the store manager. He said he would take my information and give her the message to call me. I never received the call from Mariana. It has been over 2 weeks since I took Ollie in.

    The worst grooming I almost ever had. My kid was almost skinned alive, although it was better than Collar & Comb!!

    Barely anything for cats. Limited stock of litterboxes, bowls, toys etc. Don't go if you need anything besides pet food, they won't have it
