Toys purchased at Petco...look at him go!!!
    Raina M.

I'm pretty sure all of us who have fur babies want the best for them. Petco has been there when I had my two fur babies Shamar and Cassie for 19 years. They have had everything that I needed to take care of my two cats until they're passing in 2016 and 2019. My new fur baby brownie I took him in today because he has his first vet visit today and I wanted to get him some soft paws for his claws. The staff were very friendly and they played with brownie and they helped me find the right size for his claws. I was very impressed with the service that I have received with Petco throughout the years and even though there were times I've stepped into their competitor store simply out of convenience to my location, I still rate them highly above the rest at being friendly and having everything that you need to keep your fur baby healthy and happy

After the first trial visit, though, Annie the Havi, was joyful to go back. I love that I can watch her on video and know what she is doing every minute. They have a well-maintained, clean and sanitary facility. The staff has been especially nice and helpful. Because of COVID, they come to my car to pick up Annie. She is sooo happy to see them and she flies into their arms. I can tell she loves coming to Woof's. They give me a report and send me photos so I can watch her progress. I think they truly love the dogs that come to Woof's. The building is easily accessible and there are plenty of parking spaces. I could not be happier with Woof's. The prices for services are great, too. Hope to be coming here for a long time.

We started out as a complex case due to Bernie's reactivity towards other people, a variety of objects (mainly those with wheels), hyperactivity, etc. We learned how to keep Bernie under his threshold so he gets to practice good behavior as much as possible. We went through his Babies Don't Bark course and Bernie is now the best older brother to my one month old! I never would have imagined Bernie would be walking next to a stroller or staying calm by lying off to the side when people/dogs pass by but sure enough he's doing it...still with lots of cheese to motivate him :-) Mike helped us get anxiety meds started, which has made a big difference, and has normalized wearing a muzzle! I won't sugar coat the amount of work and patience it takes to keep up on training but it's been worth it. Mike is so responsive in emails (within hours of asking a question) and has lots of YouTube videos and books to help owners. Training a dog is a life long experience! Last year I felt overwhelmed but now I have a better understanding of how to help Bernie in different situations so I feel in control. Special shout-out to Angela for being so helpful with scheduling! Thank you!!

I am fully satisfied with both the training and the Trainer. The trainer was here for as long as 2…read morehours and didn't look at his watch either. Every soft hearted person her accusing the collar of being abuse is out of their mind and naive. You know the trainers that board your dog for two weeks and the come back different? Well, they don't want you to see what they do, including a training collar and then require more training if the dog is extremely stubborn. My wife was worried about the collar. The first thing the trainer did when he pulled out the collar - I said, OK my wife is worried that this will scare and damage the dog. I said, put the thing on high and shock me. He did. it is the same thing I do to myself with the Power Dot, an amazing TENS unit to help sore muscles. My wife also uses it. I then had him do it to her. She understood that lightning bolts are not coming out of it. The problem is that dogs don't speak english and live on instinct. They are like young children that unless you can ncommunicate a negative response to their behavior and give them the proper direction, they grow up to be animals. For all the Caesar Milan fans out there ( of which I am one )- He does not teach dogs obedience. He is a 'dog psychologist who us flooding'. This is now frowned upon in the psychiatric community as abusive. Yet it is the only way to get someone to master their fears. After 6 weeks, the effort of my dog and our learning the basic commands which are simplified, is absolutely amazing. I wish I had learned this method on my GSD. He was a good natured Dog but his negative reactivity was a problem sometimes. My Bluetick Coonhound, my second one, is a rescue. No one wanted her because of her high energy and seeming food aggression due to living starved for several months. All is well and unless you speak DOG and they fear and respect and love you enough to listen to you when they begin to do what they want to do, you need training. It passed my WIFE test. That is enough said. She is an animal lover to the extreme in the sense she couldnt bear to hurt an animal. One thing, there are like 6 trainers. Unless you are working with the owner, you need to speak to your actual trainer.

You don't want to leave your baby with just anyone. I asked all my friends with dogs, I posted on Facebook and the unanimous answer I received was to go to Shelbie at Absolute Pawfection. I made the appointment and showed up promptly for Annie's grooming. Shelbie could not have been better. She did a fabulous job. Before the appointment she had sent out a text message saying customers needed to allow four hours for services but she was finished with Anne in just over an hour. Annie looked adorable, too. Her tail was wagging and she was as happy with her experience as I was. Absolute Pawfection is located in a stand-alone building and it's a sizeable place. Shelbie has basically turned two separate stores into one big grooming facility. There is plenty of parking and the business is easy to access. I got there around 7:45 am and the place was buzzing with activity. The inside is nicely decorated with lovely paintings of animals. There is a gorgeous cat, Chores, who served as the greeter. Chores made me smile. The price was very reasonable. I have paid more for worse service elsewhere. I liked the way Shelbie and Mandi were with the animals. Annie was not nervous or afraid at all. There was just a great vibe about this establishment. I was so pleased I made a repeat appointment. Highly recommended! Woof Woof (from Annie).

I left a desperate voicemail with Absolute Pawfection with a plead for help, and they called me back at 8:30pm (way past closing time when they shouldn't have to help anyone) and told me that after his veterinary appointment in the morning, I should call her and she would just work him in. I almost cried, he smelled so bad. I walked him in, and he was met with open arms (and two adorable cats in the window). They got him worked in in less than two hours and he was so fluffy and smelled like flowers. He was also so happy when I picked him up, not stressed at all. They did not have to work in a filthy new client husky last minute, but they did. I can't recommend enough. I will only be going here from now on.
