We decided to go here to get our pup groomed! We were pretty antsy with our pup because we found a flea for him. We were able to get a groom for him with flea shampoo. Although it was a little pricey ($90), Bri did an amazing job, and was so careful and positive about our pup. She let us know she didn't find any fleas, and how our pup was amazing (besides the blow drying) but I was really satisfied with it. The cut almost took 3.5 hours, which was great because it allowed us to flea bomb our place. + we got to get our flea medication, flea spray & some treats for him with the amazing price matching policy at petco. Book with Bri! Not the best photo but we didn't take any after photos haha

Mizu's all done with her haircut :)

I take my dog here to get groomed and they're always very patient with my dog and try their best with her since she is still learning her table manners. We had my dog groomed by a few different people here and I don't have a complaint about any of them. Our favorite is definitely Carla she does amazing job!

This clearly states Petco takes 100.00 bills! And I'm positive 4.00 in change would not hurt his bank! I was clearly DISCRIMINATED against!

I was a regular at this store purchasing items every couple weeks! Today I went in there to get my dogs treats and some dog food! My total came to 96 and some change, I pulled out a 100 dollar bill, and Ron said "we don't take 100 dollar bills! Mind you I was owed about 4 dollars so it wouldn't hurt his bank!! And as of when I left this morning there were no signs ANYWHERE stating they would not take a hundred dollar bills!! What was topper when I called a couple other petco's guess what, they accept 100 dollar bills!! Not to mention Ron the manger had no tact or people skills!

After the cut from this Petco store

I won't be back to this grooming salon ever again! This is the ugliest hair cut that my chow ever had in his life.

Rocko loves his beautiful haircut from cass!

Cass grooms all three of my beasts She does an amazing job. (I have two poms and a corgi mix) I followed her from her last location. She always pays attention to detail. Takes care of my mediumly aging dogs and all their moving leg joints. I'm super picky about their nails and she always gets them just right.

    Very happy pup!

First off-if you don't feel like reading this whole love letter, the point is this:…read more Sunny is amazing and everyone would benefit from training with her-we need more trainers like Sunny!! I've been a dog wanter for YEARS-but only recently did we find ourselves in a position to actually get a dog, so of course, here we are with our quarantine pup. Turns out that the stress of a global pandemic coupled with the arrival of a new fur baby is a recipe for disaster. I was at my wits end, honestly believing that we made a mistake getting a puppy and that I was ruining her everyday. My family was stressed and sad and on edge. Then we found Sunny and JackPack training. It was a whole new ballgame from day one. Not only did she help us with training in person, we also felt comfortable reaching out to her for help between sessions, and she got us through many puppy meltdowns with her advice. Right away she realized I needed to work on my confidence and reassured us that we were doing a good job and making progress. Sunny turned my anxious and stressed out puppy into a happy and loving teen dog! Everything from leash walking, to crate and potty training, to manners when greeting strangers-Sunny can help you. She's reliable, enthusiastic, encouraging, and worth every penny. If you have a puppy or even a grown dog-she can help you train them into your dream dog.

Sunny also boards fur-babies as well for an immersive training experience. If you need someone to watch your pup while your away, train the little rascals, or even just a potty visit in the middle of the day, I cannot recommend Sunny enough!

I had adopted her from a rescue organization that didn't tell me the whole story about her past which caused her to be leash aggressive and nervous around other dogs. With just 6 weeks of this course, she had come so far, amd Cayce had set us up with a whole host of tips and tricks to work on with her so she could continue to progress after class was over. I only took off one star because one week Cayce wasn't the instructor and it was unfortunately our last class so I wasn't able to chat with her about what our next steps would be. The other trainer was good too, I just wish that I had known she wouldn't be there so that I could have had a last conversation with her!

I sought help from the rescue society and they were able to give me some tips, but nothing really to help the main problem. They recommended that I find a trainer that could help with the aggression, which is how I found out about Cayce. I explained the problem to Cayce and we agreed to start off with a private lesson. The private lesson was enlightening. She gave me some information on the breed that I had not heard and that gave me some insight on some subtle behaviors. Cayce also emphasized how I should interact with the dog and that definitely made a huge impact in how we have bonded. We worked on some leash behavior and of course, my dog in a new situation and without any other dogs around, was the perfect angel. We agreed to just kind of boot camp her and get her into the next group class so we could work on her behavior around other dogs. A few days later, we walked up to the group class where there was a good 12-15 other people with their dogs. My dog again was totally chill and I was feeling kind of optimistic. We walked past other dogs and she didn't react at all. So far so good. We started out with basic commands which my dog has limited proficiency. She does sit when she is sufficiently bribed, but not much beyond that. The class was working on stay and I'm just kind of going along with it and thinking when is she going to lose it and lunge after another dog, so I'm saying, "stay, staaaay, stay" and watching her like a hawk. I'm sure I was pretty funny to watch. Cayce's assistant then comes up to me and says, "Okay, let's try that again, but not so creepy, kay?" Everybody in my little group is looking at me like, "what did you do?" Hey, this is my first class too. I don't know what I'm doing, so give me a break okay. He then tells me I need only say stay once and if she doesn't, then correct. I'm like okay, that's all you needed to say. So, we move on and about 45 minutes into the class, my girl has just about had it. Out of the blue, she decides she doesn't like the lab mix sitting a few yards away. She lets out a huge bark and does a little lunge at the pup. Super. I figure this isn't good, but it kind of is because Cayce can see her bad behavior first hand. Cayce doesn't really say anything and continues on and I figure this is something we can discuss later. So about fifteen minutes later, we happen to be next to Cayce as she is explaining dog behavior and her dog is performing trick after trick to everyone's amazement. Well, not quite everyone. At some point, my dog just had enough and jumped straight up and let out this menacing bark and lunged at Cayce's dog. I pulled her back and tried to contain her while also shrinking in utter embarrassment. Cayce didn't acknowledgement the outburst and continued her talk. At the end, she asked if there were any questions and after waiting my turn, I said, "Um yeah, how do I get her to stop doing that?" Cayce looks at me and says, "tell her don't do that." She then turns back to the class and says farewell and walks away. Don't do that? Wow, why didn't I think of that? (I did...quite a bit. Maybe I was doing it creepily or something). Never went back. Look, she educated me on my dog and there were some definite benefits to that. Cayce's dog is obviously very well trained and does some amazing tricks. That would be pretty cool if my dog could do that someday, but for right now I want to take my dog with me and not ever worry that she is going to attack some other dog. I've found another trainer and will start in again. There were some benefits from our time with Cayce and I'm sure other people in different situations will find benefit as well.

The breed of my puppy is naturally not trusting of strangers, and our instructor made sure to never push our pup into anything she wasn't ready for. For puppy kindergarten, she also allows you to attend multiple classes each week, for no additional cost! We definitely took advantage of this since our pup started out very shy of dogs as well. She's an extremely patient instructor, and typically will go over 2-4 different things each class. She also introduces a different agility item each class, to socialize the pups to the equipment. There's normally 2 puppy playtimes each lesson, one at the beginning and at the end. I'm appreciative that she also locks the doors at all times, to avoid any accidental escapes. The only critique I could give is that sometimes the lessons can be a little disorganized and can get side tracked a bit, but overall the lessons are fairly cheap. Also, I noticed this comes up as an Auburn company, but our lessons are out of the Kent Memorial Park building on Central.

Initially the puppy kindergarten class was rather large, but Jennifer split the class into 2 classes with the smaller/shyer dogs in one class, which was helpful for our little guy. I really enjoyed the puppy class because it was a good introduction for how to interact with your dog and teach behaviors. I also took the Basic Manners class. It ended up being a small class of just 2 dogs, although it meant we got more attention and plenty of question/answer time. This class was a little more disorganized, but we still managed to solidify some basic skills such as walking on a leash appropriately and the skills: sit, stay, come, down, leave it. Overall, I'm pleased with my experience. I'm a first time puppy owner, so it was nice to have an expert point of view in my training. The packets what went with the class were full of great information as well, so you didn't have to retain everything that was said in class. Jennifer also had a class helper who always had cheese who was so sweet with our little dog--thanks, cheese lady!
