We were pregnant and also decided to get a German shepherd puppy so the baby and puppy could grow up together.. as he got older we realized he was a hand full with tons of energy and some bad habits like "jumping" and almost knocking people down and he was so strong at just a few months old that it was impossible for me to even walk him with being 7 months pregnant.. we quickly realized that we needed some help and training for him before baby arrived. My aunt had a friend that trained dogs and got us in contact with each other. I'm so happy she recommended her friend and owner of Jack pack training. We first boarded our dog thunder with her while we were in the hospital and I thought it would be super hard for him being the first time away from us but he was so happy and well cared for the entire time..he was treated like he was their own pet. Sunny trained him while he was there for his stay. She also made sure we had videos of their training sessions so we could look back at them if we needed too. When we finally got to come home and picked thunder up it was like he was a completely different puppy.. so behaved and calmer. My whole family was impressed especially my grandma who was always getting jumped on by thunder. She gave us great advice and showed us how to continue with his training. We ended up having her come over and helped us train thunder on our treadmill. She said it would help drain some of that puppy energy and keep him out of trouble on a day to day basis and when we have company over help calm him down beforehand. He loves the treadmill now and has moved up with his time and speed. Needless to say we will only be boarding with sunny and training with her from now on! Sunny was absolutely fantastic with our dog. We adopted a 3 year old blue heeler who is a bit anxious, and really requires mental and physical stimulation. We knew we wanted to get on the right track with him. Sunny met with us early on after adopting Bandit and provided us with so many tools, games, and methods in our various training sessions that really have made all the difference in his behaviors and manners. If he ever acted out during a session, she was always cool, calm, and collected, and excellent at redirecting his energy towards something productive. She understood his breeds' behaviors and tendencies so well! We learned SO much about working with dogs altogether, but Bandit especially, and she tailors every single session to something he loved and benefitted from. Her enthusiasm and love for working with dogs (and their owners!) shines through in every single session we had, and she is so accommodating, approachable, and passionate! Sunny boarded my 9 m/o poodle puppy, Luna, when I traveled last month for two weeks. Sunny was a wonderful communicator and sharer of the day's activities, with photos and videos of Luna. It was clear that Luna was engaged and very happy to be in her care. Everyday, Sunny treated Luna to extensive walks and off-leash time (plus the added bonus of time with her daughter, Nevaeh!). Unfortunately for Sunny, Luna experienced her first heat while she was there, but Sunny handled it with aplomb and humor! Luna came home more settled down and very happy. My only disappointment is that Sunny lives so far away from us! read more

Sunny with Jack Pack Training has boarded our 2 year old French Bulldog (Frank) multiple times. He always comes home exhausted from all the play time, walks, and attention he gets at Sunny's. Sally was afraid, and at times showed much worry and aggressiveness, when first adopted. At times unresponsive and unpredictable when asking for her cooperation, setting up commands. Sally had been through three families prior to meeting me, her owner. Sally became much more engaged with me. She gained a sense of ease, and a maturity. She learned commands. She and I became much more comfortable with each other and owe credit to the direction given by Sunny. Yes I would recommend your services, absolutely. We love Sunny's services. We have a chocolate lab named Runa, who is full of energy and Sunny has been so amazing taking care of her. Sunny picks up ru for a puppy play date every weekday and we choose her for boarding when we have to travel. Sunny has been amazingly accommodating, we've had unexpected things come up and Sunny is available to take ru same day. She's helped us with training, reinforced good behavior and assisted with medications during her daily visits. Couldn't be happier with sunny and her business. read more

Sunny does such a wonderful job with my little guy. I have a stubborn older shih Tzu, who is super happy to see her and have his walk. She knows how to coax him out of a crabby mood and get him outside. I love how convenient it is to not have to take him to a day camp. She is amazing, and you will not go wrong working with her. I've never used a dog trainer or dog daycare before. I'm sold on Sunny and her knack for handling my GSD. Sunny definitely loves her job and my Addie loves going to Sunnys house either for sleepovers or for a day. She always comes home tired and happy. I highly recommend Sunny for your pups needs. We wouldn't leave our dog with anyone but Sunny, she treats our boy Max as her own. We know when we leave on a vacation that he will be loved and well taken care of. She always sends pictures and updates on how he is doing during his stay. We have left Max there several times and we plan to leave him there for future trips.
