Petco is a huge store where you can find all of your needs. Yes the prices are a little higher the grocery store prices but it is quality products. we go to petco about once a month and it is always a pleasure to go there the staff is great they allow you to bring your animals in and they always stop to give them attention! read more

Clean and well laid out. Helpful and knowledgeable employees. My dog loves coming here and people are generally very friendly. My dog loves the doggie bar! They have a really good selection of small pets especially for the size of the store. I've been to a lot of the smaller stores in the area as well as the chains and this is our preferred pet store. read more

This store is a real split decision for me. I don't like to shop a lot here because it's kind of expensive, but they have a great variety of certain things I need for the pets that has me coming back every few months. The collars and leashes are great and they have a ton of variety. They also have a great treat bar that's full of cookies that are suitable for human consumption (I've tried). The more everyday things like food, treats and cat litter are priced much higher than the box stores and even the other pet stores in the area. It would be a much better store if I could leave here with more for my money. read more

The employees at this store are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Even though they were busy when I came in to the store, I had three different employees who approached me and offered to help me pick the products I needed. They ended up being very helpful and I was really impressed with how knowledgeable they were about the products. read more

I was WOW'd by the great job the groomers at Petco did with my Shiba-Poo (Shiba Inu - Poodle) dog. She is just a year old, and this was her very first dog spa appointment. We had her bathed and her coat trimmed. When we dropped her off, she was excited to see the other dogs they were grooming. The groomers miraculously calmed her down, and reported that she was a fine dog that was very still and patient as they groomed her. The groomers provide a report card on how behaved your pet was during the grooming session, and my dog's was very positive. This is something I was very concerned about, as she is a very hyper & excited dog at home. When I picked her up, she was so happy, the happiest I have seen her in a long time. She looked amazing! I know that she was happy, especially when I walked her. When she saw anybody on her walk, she would go up and sit in front of them, moving her head side to side as if she was flirting or flaunting the beauty she had. It was so fun to watch. I would like to publicly thank the groomers at this Petco location for the fine job that they did with my pet, and do plan a return visit when my dog requires another grooming!!!! This review is for the vaccination clinic only .I got there at 8:30 in the morning they open at nine with the vet clinic starting at nine. There were nine pets in front of me. We went in at 9 o'clock and got in line the vet who is contracted was there but the vetco team with the equipment was late by I think 45 minutes. During the weight the vet went around and examined the pets finally they got here but we had to wait while they set up then they finally took our names and phone numbers so we could get out of line and go to our trucks and walk around until they text us when it was our turn . two dogs pooped in line during the wait One being mine. We went out to the truck and they text me a link to register my dog which I did and waited for the text when it was our turn never got it . went in after an hour and they claim they called and text me a couple times and I show them my phone I never did so they forgot about us . And then we had to get in line for the shots and I think we should've been able to skip that few people because they forgot about us. It was that finally our turn for shots but then the lady who was ahead of us came back because they forgot to give her dog the rabies shot and he said it wasn't even on her order so she was told to go back to talk to the registration vetco peopleThen we had to wait 10 minutes for the. Heartworm test results. They did give us a 20% discount but it should've been more for us since they forgot about us and we were there from 830 till 1130 we finally got home which was 10 minutes away at almost noon. Just seemed very unorganized and sloppy work . my dog had pooped in line and drink a gallon once we got home because he was so thirsty. It was a 3 1/2 hour fiasco. The only positive about this thing was the vet himself who was contracted. The store itself looks very clean and stocked and they were very pleasant. read more

My French bulldog never looked so good. They even got in between the wrinkles on this face. It's been days and he still feels so soft and smells so good. I will be going back for sure and price is so reasonable. read more

We love this Petco location, while the franchise as a whole is expensive, this particular store has the friendliest/most helpful staff. This location is large and has a variety of products and is always stocked with our doggy needs. And the grooming salon has been taking care of our fur babies since their first haircut (5 years ago)! Becca is who takes cares of us there and she is phenomenal!!! She knows all the fur babies' quirks and is very patient with them. She's advised us on products, training, etc. and she is also very accommodating with our schedule. She started off as a groomer and now she is the manager of the salon. We wouldn't trade her for the world. We literally drive from one side of town just to make sure she grooms our babies. I recommend this location! read more

We recently had a great grooming experience with Jason B.! He was so good with Teddy, our very anxious two year old dog. The full-service grooming was perfect for his breed and we even got a sweet Christmas picture of Teddy (and a bag of treats for a gift). My dog was trained and groomed at the Fountain hills AZ Petco and it was great customer service and care!. We are here in WI for the summer and decided to try the Greenfield Petco. The first time my dog had the full service grooming with nail trimming. His nails were split and jagged. When I called Petco they said nail buffing was extra, not in Fountain Hills. I brought my dog back and had his nails buffed. The 2nd experience was not any better I was charged extra because I requested he not be kenneled. It was not the additional extra $10.00 charge that was upsetting, it was the fact that I was not informed by the groomer when scheduling the appointment. To make matters worse she claimed she did . I definitely do not recommend this Petco! Terrible customer service! We will be using another groomer and pet store while in WI. read more

I have never had success with fish from petco. I had a school of neon tetras suffer hole in head disease shortly after coming home and a batch of barbs die of (i believe) internal parasites shortly after getting home as well. They honor their refund policy but I gave up and now buy elsewhere and have a healthy aquarium read more
