Her nails were still ridiculously long after her "trim." Because of this, I tried a different groomer this month. We went today, and I was told her ears were really dirty. I don't understand why her ears would be dirty when she doesn't roll around in anything. If they had cleaned her ears properly last month, they wouldn't have been "really dirty" this month. In addition, the parking lot is a nightmare. I can't speak to their other services, but definitely will not be back.

They give away hundreds of pounds of supplies and toys at these events. The vets, staff, board and volunteers work for hours to do this for the community. I've had the good fortune to volunteer at these and after servicing roughly 900 pets at a recent clinic, I was thrilled to have done something so impactful. Pet owners are so grateful for these services. I've also benefited from their fostering program and adopted two cats into our household, while my BF has rescued another pair. The staff and vets and volunteers deserve the upmost praise and respect for the good they do for animals - and their people. Try to support them - volunteer, donate items or your time. You'll feel so happy that you did. And get your pets licensed, chipped, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.

Maddac has been so nice and helpful with the whole adoption process, they make it easy. To my surprise I found an outdoor kitten and I brought it in for a chip check an no chip was found so was told that I could adopt her and I wasn't looking to home another kitten. What really makes them shine is a homeless kitten with all the medical care and fixing vs the in house kitten gets the same care at like $15 so even if you don't adopt one of there animals they make it super cost effective to bring a stray in and make it very encouraging to adopt thet stray animal with the price incentives when my vet was quoting $600. Overall they do an excellent job at getting animals homes even if you adopt there's with finding a stray, now two kittens are warm and safe.

Online booking was super easy. The pet app makes storing all of Chloe's info so easy. Due to Chloe's positive FeLV status, we were guided to a room right away. Chloe loved exploring and particularly liked the window. The vet and staff gave her a churu while examining her. She happily accepted the distraction. They ushered her away for her vaccines, microchipping and nail clipping. The vet was very pleased with her appearance. I loved that they take first visit pictures. We also paid in our room due to keeping Chloe in her room. The waiting area is spacious with restrooms and bottled water available.

When I first brought my Leda (a very messy terrier mix) to Madra Pet Styling I had trouble…read moreconveying- or maybe even deciding- what I wanted her to get as a haircut. She is a tricky mix of coarse, wiry Cairn Terrier hair and silky, flowy Longhaired Dachsund fur, and between the cowlick-y feathering on her legs to her bushy eyebrows to her kinked tail, I didn't know what type of cut to ask for. Thankfully the years of grooming experience and creativity between Helena, Erin, and Natasha they sculpted my scraggly, ragamuffin into an absolute princess! I was overwhelmed and have been asking for this "style" ever since that first cut. I love my dog like a daughter and appreciated Helena's attentiveness to my dog's lifestyle. She asked what I was feeding, which grooming products I used at home, and if I had any concerns that she should know about before handing Leda over (something else I liked-- the fact that I literally "handed" my dog over. Getting dropped off in a new place can be stressful to some dogs and Helena knew to make the transition as quick and painless as possible... No long, sappy goodbye hugs or dragging Leda in by her leash against her will.) Something else I am absolutely grateful for is the fact that Helena offered to do a free sanitary trim (shaving down/trimming the hair away from Leda's lady-parts) in between grooms. I was embarrassed having to explain that my dog suffers from urinary problems and longer-hair down can be a breeding ground for bacteria that lead to UTIs. Having worked with dogs for years, and having been a veterinary technician prior to becoming a groomer, Helena not only understood my concern, but assured me it ain't no thang. Reassuring to know that I won't have to plead for a doggy-Brazilian at each groom! Leda looks forward to going to Madra. She is handled well (these ladies know how to put up with her tenacious terrier bullshit on the grooming table), gets to mingle with a great group of dogs in the shop when she's finished (she is usually cuddled up on Madra's front windowsill when I pull up, sunning herself in a pile of well-preened pooches and throw pillows), and happy and gorgeous when she comes home!
