He was very patient and helped me pick an arrangement my mother would enjoy. I was comfortable during the whole conversation and didn't feel like I was being pressured or upsold. I really appreciated that. They delivered her flowers on time and on the same day. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them. Minimum $75 for delivery. Ordered on Sept 8th. After 8 days I called for a tracking number. It took 50 minutes to get to a representative who told me my order had not even been shipped. I asked "WHEN''. She said 10 days. I finally just canceled the order. This company is a joke! Website looks great but the Company is a total failure. My shipping cost was $28.95 dollars. For that kind of money shipping should have been a non-issue. I should have read the other poor reviews before I ordered. Lesson learned!!! read more

I ordered a flower arrangement for my cousin's memorial service on the phone not knowing what to expect. I spoked to Beto. He was so nice and friendly. I admit, I've never actually walked through the doors of Petals, but I have talked to Abe (sounds like Ahbay) on the phone to place orders here. HE IS THE BEST! They consistently rank on top lists of LA Florists, and for good reason. Though the price is a little more expensive than other florists, Petals does an excellent job. They put care into every single order and will accomodate your requests for certain colors, styles, flowers, etc. Aside from beautiful flowers, Petals has exceptional service. And no matter how busy they are, they will always try to help. They also have a network of other florists they work with if you ever need flowers sent out of town. Petals has sent arrangements to places like San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Phoenix on my behalf. And in town, they can get flowers anywhere in a few hours or less. My husband has been ordering flowers for me from Petals for at least four years now and I have to say, they are the best. Any time an arrangement is sent to my office, the staff always stop to admire at them and take pictures. It even upsets some wives at my office that say they don't get flowers nearly as nice as I get from Petals. The flowers are always fresh, gorgeous and they bloom for days on end (as long as you take care of them). I'm so happy to give Petals business and my husband tells me that Abe could not be nicer. I have been using Petals for YEARS AND YEARS! Since Abe started it has been a hit or miss. You may or may NOT get your flowers delivered! I gave someone his info so they could send flowers to their girlfriend on Valentines day and they were guaranteed before 3pm. Not only did the flowers NEVER ARRIVE! But every time my friend called and emailed he never got a call back from ABE. HOWEVER He spoke with, the girlfriend spoke with and I spoke with a woman who works there that is so unbelievably RUDE. She should take a class on customer service. Or at least stay on top of her job and figure out the situation herself. I found petals on yelp with 30 minutes to go before my wife's plane landed in burbank. This was the first time she had left me and our 3 month old and she had been gone 1 week. With out a minute to spare, i raced over there to find a big brown brick warehouse building with a roll up door that looked nothing like a flower shop. What i didnt realize is that petals is not open to the public. They strictly do deliveries and cater to large events. I had no idea. Despite this, the staff of petals, took time away from arranging their large event bouquets to help me. I think they could see the desperation in my eyes. Abe was so kind. Between quickly arranging the most amazing bouquet I've ever given my wife, he was telling about their business, and making my baby giggle. Abe told me that all their flowers are exotic with the exception of one type of rose grown in california. It was truly an amazing bouquet and certainly worth more than Abe would let me pay. They even helped me to the car. Really amazing. Needless to say, my wife was in tears when she saw me, our baby, and the huge bouquet waiting for her at the airport. I joined Yelp just to write this review...Abe (Abay) is absolutely amazing! I found him through Yelp this week when I needed to order flowers for my 100 year old Aunts funeral. (she went peacefully and lived a long and beautiful life). When I heard Abee's sweet voice on the phone and started talking with him we connected instantly. When I told him what I was looking for, what I did and did not want, we were on the same page. He asked for my budget, I had $350 for flowers. He said he would make it look like $500, he made it look like $700. The flowers were beyond anything I could imagine! Actually they were exactly what I wanted, but even better, a master piece! I have been using Petals since 1997! I love them and Abe is the BEST. He's so friendly, remembers my name and who I order for each year. One year, he even remembered that I had previously ordered for my grandmother and was so kind when I told him that she had passed away the December before.
