Immediately thought that this store was managed properly. The interior was spaced out well with the big dog baths off to the side wall. I spoke with the guinea pigs, rabbits and birds like a whisperer. They heard me but they never said anything back. Lots of pet toys and accessories including pet carriers and push strollers. Huge aisles full of doggy feed. Watched the employee feeding the fish against the real wall - I think he was jamming out to some rock n' roll tunes through his ear buds. Lots of employees in this store for assistance at any time.

I love this pet supermarket and i come all the time because it's so close to me, but today i had a…read moreless than ideal experience with alecia. i purchased 5 mollys and 10 ghost shrimp and while she was trying to get the mollys out of the tank, she joked about the fact that she squished one against the back corner, saying he "seems fine". while she was bagging them, rather than spin the top to twist it, she spun the FISH with a... rather forceful rotation. that seemed to be her approach to all fish bagging. she asked if i had plans for valentine's day, and after i gave a short and simple answer she launched into a tangent about her personal life, her friends, her cheating ex going back to THEIR cheating ex, etc etc etc, and honestly it wouldn't have been that bad if she worked while she talked, but she would pause what she was doing, monologue for several uncomfortable minutes (please remember- i have never met this person in my life), and then go back to catching shrimp. i was hoping for a few pregnant shrimp, and i got two that were heavily pregnant, but while transferring them from the little box into the bag, she dropped one of my big pregnant beauties and had some difficulty scraping her off the floor, and it was dismissed with another "she seems fine". all and all i will be coming back, but i will be actively avoiding alecia as the whole experience was just so awkward and uncomfortable. i like my fish though!

The people working were not very friendly and there's an air of aloofness, which is hilarious because they're selling puppies for exorbitant prices. My biggest concern is for the care of the dogs. Many of which were much too young to have been separated from their mothers. Shame really. Can't share photos because they have no photo signs everywhere. Wonder why.

After my divorce my ex husband left me with the kids and he took our monkey with him. In November 2024 our little family decided to add another monkey to our small family. This time we were interested in an owl monkey since they are a little bigger and they have such a happy face, they are always smiling. I contacted Poggi's again (of course you had once a wonderful experience with a breeder, you don't go anywhere else). Michael has now a wonderful wife, her name is Janet and two lovely little boys. When we first came visit them to see the available owl monkey, the whole family welcomed us so warmly in to their home. My smallest son which is only 2.5 years old was allowed to play in the living room with their boys while we got introduced to Avocado, now Coco. Janet really took her time to explain and go all our questions which we have or could have in the future. She helped us to apply for a state license and she was so nice and patient. We felt like we were a part of her family. When we finally received our license from the state and were able to pick up our little Coco, I was impressed how generous their starter package was. It included a cage, an UV light, a large verity of healthy and premium food, blankets, towels, toys, leash and belt, really everything we would need to bring our baby home the first time. Coco is a blessing to our family. He is so sweet and loving. We couldn't be happier!

Every aisle was very clean and well stocked. The ferrets and lizards are so cool but smelly if you ever had them before as pets. Lots of leashes and bedding. Grooming area and a Vetco Total Care clinic.

Toni alerts when my sugar is low, my heart spells, and picks up things I drop. Toni also won't let me move when he feels I will pass out from either the low sugar or heart spells. Toni also will get things for me that he can reach (shoes, remote, etc). Toni is always ready to work and learn new things. He just wants to please me and get lots of love and attention. I walked around the store for a while browsing the products and admiring the selection of fish, however, as I circled back I was reconsidering getting the female pig. I asked March if I may hold her again, but she responded snappily in a raised, rude tone "I can't be there all day are you gonna buy it or not?". It honestly discouraged me from the purchase and I felt ashamed and embarrassed. I decided this wasn't an appropriate response and approached the manager, Johan on March's service. I'd be fine if there was a policy or if it was properly explained that that they can't take animals out much, however, he immediately jumped to March's defense and made excuses such as she must've been busy attending customers (in which there was only two others being attended by another younger female employee. The store was empty and she was walking around aimlessly), that I was walking around (I do not understand what browsing the store has to do with having a feel for a guinea pig), and that I held the guinea pig a couple times in which I only held one piggie each to determine their temperament (there were only two). This interaction wasn't enjoyable and I felt the manager did not care. I feel the store has gone down in quality of the years and it's disheartening to see. I will not be coming back!
