The air at this time was cool and the side vents of the van open. But I found it questionable that someone would do that with their pet for a 4 hour show and for errands prior. This morning I mentioned it to a coworker and they advised they saw the same vehicle with barking pup earlier in Sherwood Park area. It was 20 degrees plus humidity with limited air flow. Although it cooled down overnight when arriving to a site trailer this am at 7 am the Air Conditioning needed to be turned on because of the heat and humidity lingering from the day before. Please take these factors into consideration, the measure of the air flow outside the vehicle is not a proper assessment of the temp/air flow inside. Especially when the back window panels on a mini van only open so far. I understand a quick pop in to the store for milk, maybe a coffee but an entire concert seems excessive and I would expect someone who grooms and cares for animals wouldn't think this was acceptable.

Bullet's always super excited when we go on our bi-monthly visit to Pet Planet. He just loves walking into the store and picking out the exact treats he wants. (Yes I do spoil him to much sometimes) They have a marvelous selection of dog and cat food. Dry, canned, frozen, raw...whatever types you can think of-they'll have it! The staff they have employed there (including the store owner/manager) are all SO NICE, polite, professional and helpful. If I ever have any questions about anything, the staff is always available to answer them and give me recommendations. AJ, Christine and Lindsey if you're reading this, thank you for all the help you've given me! Most recently was when I asked them what I should do about Bullets nonstop shedding? They recommended I try "The Furminator" to help remove all that extra hair. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend $50 on a dog brush, but I took her advice and bought it. I went directly home after to try it out, and see if it really worked as good as she said it would. WOW! Was she ever right about it! I couldn't believe how amazing this thing actually was. How I ever survived without a brush like this, for as many years as I did just baffles me! His shedding went from a 10/10 (His fur being everywhere!) down to a 2/10 (Hardly sheds at all) If you live in Beaumont, Leduc or South Edmonton, you definitely have to drop by and see this store. I know you won't regret it!

It's literally across the street instead of wasting at least 30 min to go to Edmonton and back. They have a great selection of dog toys as well and I've bought a bunch in hopes that my dog will chew on them instead of my house... so far its about 80/20 lol... he really likes the toys. My little guy also really likes the chicken jerky that we got a sample of last time that we were in the store after his nail cuts... I don't even know if he chewed it, it was more of an inhale lol. I also have to do a shout out for Pet Planet supplying the free dog bags at the Beaumont dog park. It is nice to have them there when I forget to bring mine! There are a lot of people who take advantage of using them... so thanks so much!!

I am more than happy with my experience !…read more I was so nervous about leaving my cat with a stranger, he's anxious and so attached to me and hates anyone else touching him. Susan let me stay to make him more comfortable, she was so patient and kind to him, gave him his favourite treats and was able to fit in a bathe on top of his trimming. He was purring by the end of his time with her, he looks and smells amazing and she even gave him a little bandana. She's so personable and such a kind soul, I will 100% be brining him back to her, I'd trust her with anyone's pets, and definitely any of my own. Her pricing was so reasonable and he was done within an hour. Thank you Susan for making this a smooth and comfortable process for me and my sweet boy!!!

Did she ever get out of her kennel??? That was not the case at Prairie Rose. The staff are amazing and very honest. They monitor your pet, put them on a daily routine and on top of that, they set up a profile sheet on your dog for future visits. And the cost to leave my dog there was competitively priced.
