Training: I brought my doodle here for training, and I cannot recommend Zena's classes enough. I have referred a few friends to her classes as well. She is so calming, direct but not harsh, and at the end of the day - she's training you the owner more than the dog. My dog Cooper is so well behaved and I can say I owe it to Zena for instilling good habits in him (ok and maybe me too) through her training classes. Facility and staff: This store is always clean, organized, and the staff is always friendly. The cashiers greet you and your pet as if they see you everyday. It's certainly memorable and makes you want to return. Grooming: The groomers at this location are always so pleasant. They are normally quite busy so I book in advance. If they have a cancellation, they will call you to see if you're interested in coming sooner, which I like because I'm always eager to get the groom done. Cooper & I will continue to shop at this PetSmart location :)

Went here for dog wash as we were closer to this location than our usual heartland location. Whereas the heartland location had 5 ranging from regular to extreme odour to tick shampoo. When asked if there were any other shampoos besides oatmeal or puppy like....regular shampoo. The guy told me "nope those are the free unless you wanna buy". Well thanks so much. The aprons here also smells worse than my dog pre-washed! Also, no dog treats here despite it being advertised everywhere!!! Will not be coming back

The staff at Pet Valus also seem to have more experience with specific foods and can generally give more educated recommendations. This isn't the closest location to me, but I was picking up dinner nearby, so I stopped in to pick up a bag of Performatrin Ultra. I wanted to try another flavour - my Persian is picky! - so I asked the cashier what their exchange policy was. Without any hesitation, she offered me various bags of samples, told me try the sample first, then open the larger bag if my cat ate the sample flavour. Anyway, I just thought that was very helpful and definitely got better customer service than I would a large box pet store!

It's the only place anywhere near my house that has the cat food that we need, so it's just fine by…read moreme. Our little chubby kitty (we've been trying to get her to lose weight for years, hasn't worked) has a pretty sensitive tummy and so there's really only one food that keeps her stomach happy. Global has it, is always willing to put it aside for me, has the Air Miles program and usually has some sort of promotional coupon if you go on their mailing list (i.e. spend over $50 get 10% off etc.). Other than the massive bag of food and a few cans of wet stuff every few months we really don't pop in too often so there's really not much more I can grade them on. She doesn't play with most toys other than crumpled paper or light reflected from cell phone and we get her litter elsewhere. But when we do need to stock up on her Acana cat food, Global carries it, the staff is friendly and the aforementioned promos and coupons are nice. So no complaints from this pet owner with pretty simple needs!
