Jax is on his way home, having just gotten his nails trimmed, a shampoo and a hair trim. Now Jax, the larger-than-life "throwback" Pomeranian is very vain about his coat. Persnicky even. As are we. And all of us loved the groomer Theresa. So there you go, good cuts, moderately priced, gentle groomer. Or in the words, of Jax, "Sit. Stay. Lift a Paw." And in our words, "We'll be back."

Big wash tubs that the dogs can walk up in to.

What an awesome place!! You can have your furry friends groomed, or use their wash station and do it yourself. They supply everything that you need for a full service pet wash. The girls working were very friendly. Everything was clean and organized. We will be regulars here.

I cleaned the front of the tank with the magnetic thing they suggested and you can see how much cleaner it is compared to the back.

A bit expensive, but the price is worth the service. I saw another review that you can get the same stuff in Sequim for a couple bucks cheaper. True, but they can't help you fix your issues or answer all your pet questions like a pro. I've been going there for 4 months now and bought all the things they suggested to fix my fish tank that I rescued and I'm happy to say its finally thriving enough to buy some fish! Got some pretty guppies and they gave me a bunch of snail's for free to get rid of the rest of the algea issue. Love this place. I'm posting photos of how the back looks compared to the front that I cleaned with the magnetic thing they suggested. As you can see the front is spotless now! Plus I didn't loose the dojo eels that cane with the tank. Thanks Pet Town!

Rhiannon always makes me look cool!

Did not feel welcome when I entered. The clerk was not very helpful or friendly, like I was bothering them.

They did not have the courtesy to change their yelp listing to say they are closed on Sunday. I wasted a trip.

While searching for a groomer and trying to become educated , my cat little bit had become fully engulfed in painful matts. At the end of our rope, we came across Austin at Petazzled. He took the time to listen, and also to get to know her personally. He also, and this is important, moved his grooming table over next to the lobby so I could be with her and calm her. It was a huge job, he made it into two appointments to give her a break. When we came back, though its painful, she was excited to see him. I've never had a better experience with such an arduous task. He charged me far less than he should have , so I tried to make it up with his tip, but it was still lower than anywhere I've been. you might have some trouble with scheduling, but that's because he takes extra care with individual animals. Ill go nowhere else. Thank you Austin. Lil Bit (fluffy) and Jason

Very dissapointed- stood up 3X by Austin for my scheduled grooming apt- he texted at the last…read moreminute to cancel my apt. He did not bother with any personal phone call. One time I arrived for my scheduled apt., Austin insisted that I was supposed to come 1/2 hour earlier, so it was too late for him to groom my dog, and besides, his next apt. had arrived early. I rescheduled a few days later, then he cancelled at the last minute with a text which I missed. This caused me to drive 2X from Sequim for an apt., which did not occur after I arrived. On another occasion in the middle of my dog's trim, my dog coughed up a tiny amount of phlegm. Austin immediately called me, saying I can't continue with your dog, please come right away to pick her up. He suggested that I take my dog to the vet (with a very tiny amount of phlegm she coughed up). I brought her home- she was fine for the next days, and I am stuck with a half groomed dog, requiring another day to reschedule. There was no consideration for the customer, and no courtesy call to the customer to cancel 2 different apt's. Austin thinks it is fine just to text to cancel shortly before the scheduled apt. I find this lack of professionalism, unreliability, poor communication and management to be unacceptable, and I hope to warn others before they too have a bad experience. I will never return, and will share my negative experiences with every one I know. A pattern of negative experiences suggested to me that Austin did not like me, or my sweet dog. The message I got was: "you and your dog are not welcome here".

I take care of my parents' 20+ year old African Grey when they are out of town (which is a lot, since they own a RV). My parents live in Port Orchard and have used Todd various times at POPP before, but I had no direct experience with him or his shop until recently. I left the bird with Todd to be boarded for just over a week. I brought food, but didn't need to. I did bring some toys out of her cage per Todd's recommendation. He took care of the rest. As far as the shop goes, he has a great selection of the Volkmann bird seed which is not only a very good seed, but the only one that our Grey happens to eat (she eats a variety of human food too). When I picked up the bird and took her home, she seemed happy and healthy, and immediately settled into her routine at my house as soon as we got home. Based on the high level of care I witnessed from boarding, I wouldn't hesitate to use Todd for any of the other services offered--and I will certainly be boarding with him again in the future.

While I appreciate the medical treatment provided, I was disappointed with the communication and coordination of care. After discharge, we received no follow-up call. I had to contact AMCS for pending urine culture results and follow up again to clarify whether prescribed antibiotics should be continued. During hospitalization, we were told Internal Medicine would be consulted, but I never received clear confirmation of whether that occurred or what recommendations were made. During a subsequent hospitalization elsewhere, we learned about an additional treatment option that an AMCS veterinarian reportedly indicated could have been considered earlier, but it had not been discussed with us. I recognize that emergency veterinary care is complex. However, I expected better communication, transparency, and continuity of care from a specialty hospital. I aslo shared more detailed feedback directly with AMCS management in the hope that these concerns will help improve their practices for future clients.
