Updated to add that I spoke with the new owners. They reached out after seeing my experience and…read moreseemed genuinely upset about what happened, and how it was handled. They have offered to reimburse me for medical expenses. The comment below from the new owners is accurate, and it was a relief to hear the changes they are making when they called me. It's been an about a month, I've thought long and hard about this post. On Monday, June 17th I dropped my dog off at daycare. A place he has been going (and loved) for years. At 1pm I got a call from the employee there, saying that my dog was attacked, and that I needed to get him immediately, and bring him to the vet. They thought he had 1 wound.. he had 3 (3 bad ones, but I keep finding scabs from others). He ended up with 10 staples, an oral antibiotic, and injection antibiotics for 21 days. This happened on a Monday, by Thursday I knew something was very wrong and took him back to my Amazing Vet. The wound that they didn't staple (they try not to close dog bites because their mouths are gross) was infected beyond what the oral antibiotics could handle, and had become much worse. They were considering surgery to remove the infection and close the wound... Thankfully they tried another route first, and the injection antibiotics did the trick. He is still wearing a shirt to protect the wounds, he is still on anti inflammation medication, he is still recovering. Playtime Pet Resort (formerly Play All Day) in Exeter, does not have a bite policy. And, because my baby tried to run away from the dogs attacking him, they do not have clear video footage of the attack. They say they can't identify the dogs that attacked him (the vet confirmed it was more than 1). They attempted to placate me by saying "it happened right at the feet of the employee"... unfortunately, the other DOGS (plural), were not expelled. Those dogs that attacked mine are still there and there is nothing I can do about it. Please be aware. My boy loved it there for the last 4 years (split between Hampton and Exeter). I loved the convenience of them being in town, and picking up a tired dog at the end of the day. However, he will never go back. It is no longer a safe space for him. Please read all reviews for this business AND Play All Day (Exeter),before choosing the best place for your dog. I hope this will prevent any other families from experiencing an "incident" like this.

Horrible experience I've ever had. The Landlord even called this woman while in the parking lotwith Leo. I have all of Leo's paper work, shots and payment in my name proving I'm the owner of Leo. I bought food for her cat Luna and Leo. I figured Leo could visit and play with Luna and brought a large climbing and scratching post. I asked her if she was giving me my kitten back and she said, NO! I'm the rightful owner of, Leo. He loves me and I love and miss him. I called the police but they can't get involved. A woman at MSPCA knows the woman and was mad I called the police. I didn't call about MSPCA. This woman at MSPCA came out with security screaming like a "crazy lunatic" - you're not to come here again!!!! All this because on Easter Day- I turned around and saw a black kitten everyone left behind and took him home. The last time I saw, Leo he was living in a dirty house and the kitty littler box was filled to the rim and he was walking on top of it. I cleaned the littler a couple of times a day and added fresh litter if required. I would have grabbed him but they're 3 against one. They have a cat Luna, why steal someone's pet they paid for and all his shots? Leo could have visited anytime to play with Luna. All paper belong to me.

She was free from Lyme disease after some treatment and we treated her with medication for the tick and flea problems but they and she was all cleared up in 3 months time. I can't even get her to eat anymore. She locked her jaw. I'm really going to miss her when she passes and I don't know how I'm going to come up with the money for cremation because I was scammed for $5000 and we have no more money.
