However, the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. They're unfriendly, rude, arrogant, and unprofessional, which is a shame because I have been taking my dogs to the Animal Hospital of Roxbury for two years and as much as I love and respect my dog's doctor I refuse to allow myself to be mistreated and disrespected by the front desk staff every time I have an appointment. As a result I've decided to take my pooches to another vet.

The staff was so nice and called around to some places for availability and they were all far out. Dr Elia went the extra mile to reach out to a colleague she knows and they were able to get us in quickly! Our pooch is healing nicely and we are hoping biopsy results are ok. My dog growing up had a mobile groomer so he could go quickly from the house to the van and back again within an hour. So, I decided this would be the best for my little girl. Wunderful Tails did a fantastic job on my little terrier mix. I almost didn't recognize her when she came back into the house (tail wagging all the way). Her fur was cut perfectly for her personality (I wanted her clean cut but wanted to keep that "terrier" look) and her nails were nicely cut and free from fray. During her last cut, her brother (a staffordshire terrier) was invited into the van to keep her company and was given a bandana of his own! Wunderful Tails is very caring, thoughtful and considerate of the owner's and dog's wishes and needs. I wanted a real "dog person" to take care of my baby not just a groomer and that's what I found with Wunderful Tails. Thanks guys!

I procrastinated all week until suddenly, it was Friday, they were coming home Saturday early afternoon, & I still hadn't made an appointment. I browsed the internet to try to find a mobile pet-goomer that could come to the house because their dog has horrible separation anxiety as well as epilepsy & I didn't want to just drop him off somewhere. I gave Doggy Dolittle a call & received a call back within a couple of hours. At first, he said he couldn't fit me in at such short notice (as did the other places I called), so I gave up & started looking up how to groom your dog at home, but about 20 minutes later, he called back & told me he'd managed to move some things around & could be there at 8:15. Jon, the owner & groomer was on time, very friendly, & gave my stubborn, hyper, spoiled little brat of a dog, a GREAT groom, despite the princess' squirming, whining objections. I would definitely recommend Doggie Dolittle for your cat or dog grooming. Very reasonably priced, professional, & hard-working. I'll absolutely be calling him back.
