This store doesn't deserve even one star. How great for business that they have walls of fish and…read moreanimals but how absolutely horrendous for any living thing that is stuck in a cage or box in this place. Imagine a condemn home with black mold and the worst smell but houses all sorts of animals. This is legitimately hording. There are cages of mice and rats shoved in every corner, under and over shelves. The music blaring throughout the whole store must be pure torture to these poor animals who have to endure this all day long. This place is dirty, disgusting, and full of dead fish in the tanks, dirtier than you even want to imagine. Petco is luxury at treating their animals compared to this crap hole. Do not support this place and for the love of God, where is PETA when you need it!

Animal care and husbandry has been my career for many years. I have worked in pet stores, zoos,…read morerescues, and rehabilitation facilities. Trust me when I say that I have never seen animals being so poorly cared for as when I visited Adam's Pet Safari. Filthy, overcrowded cages were every where. Reptiles and mammals were crammed in small, inappropriately outfitted enclosures. Birds were stuffed in cages and glass enclosures with feces everywhere. The fish and amphibians weren't any better. The staff seemed nice enough, but clearly there is a HUGE lack of proper animal husbandry knowledge at this location. Seeing so many animals housed in such horrible conditions was heart breaking. I wish I had taken more pictures as proof. Please trust me, you do NOT want to give this place your money and business.

Despite being fully booked, Barbara, the owner, gave me an appointment with Diane, the groomer. My dog, a Westie, has severe skin issues. Diane bathed him and even trimmed the hair around his eyes, so he could see better. I highly recommend Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming. Next time I am in New Jersey, I know where to bring my Westie for grooming. Normally, I do not write reviews. The excellent service and compassionate approach to my Westie deserve an exception to this rule. I would give Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming 10 stars if that were possible. A big thank you to Barbara and Diane!

A woman and a young man were working in the store, but seemed more interested in their phones than assisting customers. I made multiple trips back and forth to the front counter and to the bird area, asking questions questions, and clearly stated I was looking to buy a young male budgie. When I requested help selecting and confirming a juvenile male, neither employee made any effort to assist. I was simply told, "They're all mixed together. It's hard to tell what's over there." We left empty-handed despite coming prepared to make a full purchase. A very frustrating experience and a missed sale.
