Imagine a condemn home with black mold and the worst smell but houses all sorts of animals. This is legitimately hording. There are cages of mice and rats shoved in every corner, under and over shelves. The music blaring throughout the whole store must be pure torture to these poor animals who have to endure this all day long. This place is dirty, disgusting, and full of dead fish in the tanks, dirtier than you even want to imagine. Petco is luxury at treating their animals compared to this crap hole. Do not support this place and for the love of God, where is PETA when you need it!

Trust me when I say that I have never seen animals being so poorly cared for as when I visited Adam's Pet Safari. Filthy, overcrowded cages were every where. Reptiles and mammals were crammed in small, inappropriately outfitted enclosures. Birds were stuffed in cages and glass enclosures with feces everywhere. The fish and amphibians weren't any better. The staff seemed nice enough, but clearly there is a HUGE lack of proper animal husbandry knowledge at this location. Seeing so many animals housed in such horrible conditions was heart breaking. I wish I had taken more pictures as proof. Please trust me, you do NOT want to give this place your money and business.

Best decision ever, I meet with a wonderful pet sitter that came to my home to go over my cats care. My husband and I were very comfortable with the sense that my pets will be safe and secure. Even when we had a severe weather, and when it calmed down the sitter stopped by my house to check on my home and my pets. They put a lot of thought into each dog's personality to give them the best care possible. The entire place gives off the best vibes, and it makes me so happy that my dog has such a safe and fun place to be while I'm working. I have been thrilled with everything my dog has done here: daycare, special events, overnight boarding, and grooming. When I pick him up, my dog smiles and pants the whole way home before eating dinner and falling into a deep sleep. It is well worth the money if you're looking for ways to help get your dog's energy out or to give them a safe space for socializing with other dogs (or just people!) The store itself is pretty large and has a huge selection. It's clean, organized, and feels like a grocery store for your pets. In addition to all of the typical pet supplies, they have a substantial frozen and raw food section as well. It really is a one-stop shop for your furry friend! Leashed pets are welcome in the store, which I love. I bring my dog shopping with me, and he loves coming along! The Clinton location is on the upper level of the Walmart Plaza, next to TJ Maxx. There's a massive parking lot, so I've never had any trouble finding a spot. The store is also accessible directly from the parking lot without needing to use stairs. One of the biggest standouts, though, is the staff. Every time I've visited, they have been incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. You can tell you're dealing with people who genuinely love animals themselves, and that makes such a difference at a pet store. I also recently tried their dog self-wash station for the first time, and I had a great experience. You can call the store to make a self-wash appointment, and it was $20 for 30 minutes or $40 for 60 minutes when I visited. For everything that's included, I thought it was incredibly convenient and affordable. The self-wash area has basically everything you need to properly bathe and dry your dog: a bathing station, grooming table, dryer, soaps, brushes, and other supplies. The tub even has a ramp so your dog can walk up into it, which is super helpful if you have a larger dog you can't easily lift. And, most importantly, you can give your dog a proper bath without hurting your back leaning over your bathtub at home! Another adorable detail: the shop sometimes houses little foster animals. On several visits, we got to meet the sweetest little guinea pig they were fostering, which just added to the feeling that this is a store run by people who really care about animals. I've consistently had great experiences. If you're looking for a pet store in the Clinton area with a huge selection of pet supplies, frozen and raw food, genuinely wonderful staff, and a convenient dog self-wash station, CB Pet Market is absolutely worth checking out.
