The facility was built with dogs in mind...before it was A Walk In The Park, the building was the home of the Toledo Area Humane Society. The building is more than large enough, and the yard is even bigger. The staff is awesome...just plain awesome. You can tell that every single person working here really loves dogs, and the dogs, at least my dog, seems to love all of them. We recently left our puppy here when we weren't able to take him with us on vacation. My wife, who still does Facebook (LOL), logged in daily to see videos and pix of the pack including our boy, so she and the kids (and me too, I guess) felt connected. When we got home and went to pick him up, he was happy to see all four of us, but he didn't want to leave...I guess dogs really are pack animals. We also utilize doggie daycare a couple time per week. As far as pet safety goes, and I might not have this exactly right, but I think the dogs are grouped by age and size. That is, the large breed puppies are kept together, and the small breed puppies are keep together. The large breed adults are kept together...etc. In other words, you don't have to worry about your chihuahua pup getting eaten by a Doberman. Great business, and great location. Five stars.

Our faith in this facility has been rewarded tenfold. Whether in day care or boarding we can leave our dog and have full confidence that he will receive top quality care. His excitement on the route to day care is palpable--he can't wait to arrive and play with his friends. More importantly, the staff is nearly as excited to see him. We were apprehensive about his placement there since we had problems at his other center but those apprehensions are long gone. We heartily recommend Pet Lodge for all your day care/boarding needs.

Our dog goes there for daycare and we also use them for boarding. We have had all good experiences. The staff is so friendly. It always smells good in there (no easy feat). It seems she prefers shaving dogs rather than properly grooming them, and she doesn't appear skilled with curly coats. When discussing my dog's coat, she was condescending, repeatedly calling me "honey" and saying she was trying to "educate me" about how curly-haired dogs should be groomed. Scheduling has also been frustrating. Nicole is very rigid when setting appointments, yet each time I've booked her, she has reached out asking to come earlier. I've always accommodated her requests, but that flexibility isn't reciprocated. After multiple poor experiences, I can no longer recommend Vroom Grooms.

Mia is not the best dog to groom she hates to be bathed and tried to escape at every chance she gets. Nicole is so patient with her & the fact that I can watched her being groomed tells me Nicole is one of a kind. Mia always looks so good when she comes back inside her home.
