Aunt Linda’s Pet Grooming

I've been taking my dog to Aunt Linda's for many years. I followed this grooming business from Luna…read morePier, MI to the current location in Point Place, OH. Neither location was convenient for me, but the service is so outstanding that I would follow them anywhere! First off, the groomers who work here are very gentle with my dog. They are aware that she is fragile and yet strong willed. They treat her with love and report any medical concerns they observe. I have peace of mind in dropping her off. They are also aware that I don't want to have her there longer than needed (because grooming is inherently stressful) and they communicate with me so that I'm aware of how busy they are on a given day so I can decide to bring my dog in earlier or later. It appears that Clarissa is in charge of overall management. She and all of the groomers are wonderful! Second, they do a great job of grooming my dog and always ask if I want them to do anything differently each time. I couldn't be happier with this business and highly recommend it. By the way, there is easy parking behind the building.

When I went in to pick him up, I asked how he was they said he was a hand full and they had to use two groomers on him so they would have to charge me more. They said every spot they touched, he squealed. They said if I bring him back and he behaves better it would be less. I paid 83.00 tip included. I can't imagine how our poor baby boy felt. The little guy is hard of hearing and his vision is bad.I feel bad just leaving him there. He was all curled in a ball in the cage and when I mentioned it she laughed and said he wore himself. Needless to say I won't be back and I would only send you pet if isn't and doesn't have joint pain . I guess old

The facility was built with dogs in mind...before it was A Walk In The Park, the building was the home of the Toledo Area Humane Society. The building is more than large enough, and the yard is even bigger. The staff is awesome...just plain awesome. You can tell that every single person working here really loves dogs, and the dogs, at least my dog, seems to love all of them. We recently left our puppy here when we weren't able to take him with us on vacation. My wife, who still does Facebook (LOL), logged in daily to see videos and pix of the pack including our boy, so she and the kids (and me too, I guess) felt connected. When we got home and went to pick him up, he was happy to see all four of us, but he didn't want to leave...I guess dogs really are pack animals. We also utilize doggie daycare a couple time per week. As far as pet safety goes, and I might not have this exactly right, but I think the dogs are grouped by age and size. That is, the large breed puppies are kept together, and the small breed puppies are keep together. The large breed adults are kept together...etc. In other words, you don't have to worry about your chihuahua pup getting eaten by a Doberman. Great business, and great location. Five stars.

I have only been to Pampered Paws once, but they came highly recommended by my mom who takes her…read moredog there and love them! I brought my Great Dane (rescue) in for a bath. He is VERY nervous around water, perhaps from a negative experience in his previous home. I explained his situation to them when I arrived, being that he will try to jump out of the bath, and having a bad leg, they needed to be cautious. The front desk guy was VERY kind, and listened to all I had to say. When I pick my Great Dane up, he was so happy! He smelled great and was all about the gal who brought him out! She said he was great and even got a treat afterward. My Dane took a liking to one of the other guys there, which tells me that they treated him very well. I wish I knew the girls name who brought him out and cashed me out because she did an excellent job in explaining how this visit went! I will definitely be returning to Pampered Paws!

I cannot overstate how awful this place is. My girlfriend took our beloved 15-year-old mini Aussie…read morehere--a senior dog who is both deaf and blind--and left in tears. Instead of showing any compassion or professionalism, the owner, Telia Williams, shamed her for being "overbearing" when all she was doing was advocating for our dog's unique needs. It's shocking that the person running this establishment would have such a rude and condescending attitude. To make matters even worse, the staff in the back started mocking her loudly and indiscreetly. This wasn't just bad service--it was downright cruel and humiliating. My girlfriend was heartbroken, and we didn't even let them touch our dogs after this appalling experience. If this is how the owner behaves, I can only imagine how poorly trained and unprofessional the rest of the staff must be. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your pets and want them treated with kindness and respect.

Hot Dog's Pet Salon - Came highly recommended by a friend...I was not disappointed. Very professional, did a great job and fast! Love them!

Kipper won't let us trim his nails at home. We gave up after several unsuccessful attempts. He doesn't like baths or people touching his paws. But, he trusts the ladies at Hot Dog's. He lets them work on him and it doesn't bother him at all. He always comes out happy. Hot Dog's is not close to were we live, but I make the drive every few weeks because it. Is worth the extra time and distance to get superior service. They are very busy but, they have a long list of walk-in services. I really appreciate that! I recently learned that brushing teeth is one of the walk-in services, thanks to their new electronic menu display behind the counter. We now have Kipper's nails trimmed and his teeth brushed while I wait. Kipper goes to Hot Dog's exclusively and has been for the past six years. We tried other groomers in the past with our other dogs, but none can compare to Hot Dog's. I should mention that in addition to the groomers being very good at what they do, the staff are all very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I recommend Hot Dog's for all pet owners, but if you have a dog that gets nervous and is skittish, this is definitely the place to go. If Kipper could type, I'm sure he'd leave his own five-star review?

The environment did not appear calm or reassuring for the animals, and I observed handling practices that seemed overly forceful, particularly with an elderly dog who was struggling to follow directions. During my visit, staff members appeared distracted and unprofessional, and their interactions with customers who expressed concern about their pets came across as dismissive. I also noticed dogs being kept in cages for extended periods before grooming, with little effort made to comfort those that were visibly anxious. Overall, the atmosphere and the handling practices I witnessed left me deeply uncomfortable and concerned about the well-being of the animals in their care.
