It is my fault for not memorizing that despite that they put all of the info into my computer file, I must bring a piece of paper in with a scan code every time I purchase Rx food. I understand this now. At the time, it was not clear to me. SO today when I visited the store to purchase over $120 worth of Rx food, I did not realize that I needed that piece of paper again. Every time. OK, now I get it. Rather than offering an option of flexibility for this one time while I learn the process, the cashier Erin did not bother to try to make this work this one time. She also did not offer to ask the manager to help me out / give me a learning period of ONE time. I left the food at the counter and walked out, vowing never to go back to this store. Any PETCO. After regaining my cool, I telephoned the manager Cynthia while sitting in my car in their parking lot. She was giving me the same story as Erin. I understood. This is my mistake. However, this is my second time doing this system of bringing in this piece of paper with the barcode. Who would think that once the prescription information is in the computer that a piece of paper would be needed every time a purchase is made. Anyway, I informed Cynthia that I spend hundreds of dollars on pet food at that store and am still learning the system for using the prescription food purchases. I asked whether they could be flexible while a person is learning. I also said I did not plan to bring my regular business to them anymore if this is how they handle regular customers. Fortunately, Cynthia had enough managerial skills to offer to help me this one time. She offered to allow me to complete my purchase this one time. I returned to the store check out area and purchased the prescription food. This whole long review is just to say that: 1. Yes, I made a mistake not having the process down on my first try. 2. PETCO staff at this location did not really care - they are not trained to actually try to help the customer, even when it is in their own sales interest. They are willing to lose customers with inflexibility. 3. This PETCO location's manager Cynthia showed good managerial skills by meeting the customer partway and allowing this one-time mistake to be overcome and converted me back into a customer for that store, just by her good judgement and flexibility. Sometimes even when you shouldnt have to ask, it is worthwhile to ask. Talk with the manager.

From the outside, I'll be honest, it looks like it'll be a bit grungy and not very exciting but this store truly is the definition of don't judge a book by its cover. The interior is not very big but it is PACKED with toys and cat trees of all styles. One of the owners makes all the trees himself and does custom orders, too! They are very decently priced compared to similar models I've seen elsewhere. They have a great variety of toys - 2 walls full of toys. Mostly wands of all styles, but also a very specific teal-colored rattle mouse that is my cat's absolute favorite toy and I was having a hard time finding! I picked up 5 teal rattle mice, plus 2 more rattle mice of a different style, and a great wand toy that had a fur toy with leather. My cat has been playing happily with everything since coming home - and is now laying protectively over the leather wand should I even think of taking it away from him. I was so impressed with this store and will absolutely be returning and recommending it to everyone I know with a cat. They have a very good store associate, pictured, who will help you with product testing and recommendations. There is ample street parking on Hampden, just next to the store. Not only is this store located in a very pretty and interesting building, it was very bright, open and full of fully landscaped aquariums with plants & fish everywhere. As soon as me and my friends walked in we were approached by an employee immediately. My friends went to look around and I asked a few questions. The employee gave me a lot of good answers as well as recommendations and items that might interest me in the store. The store is extremely well stocked, with items I've only been able to find online before. Me and my friends had a ton of fun looking at the tanks around the store and I good some great inspiration looking around. I got a few items including a snail trap (another item I've only seen online!) and the cashier was super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the shop. The store below even had an enormous reef tank installed and maintained by the store employees. It is always a wonderful experience coming to a store where everyone is so passionate about their craft, and I can't wait to come back

Well, that was me over 50 years ago except I never lost interest. I've been keeping fish and visiting fish stores around the country for my entire life. The people from World Of Fish who started RiverShore Aquariums have done a great job. Located not far from the original World of Fish, RiverShore has clean tanks, friendly and knowledgeable staff and they are super keyed in on planted tank setups. These days my tanks are relatively simple just to keep things easy, rocks and driftwood mostly, but I've been wanting to do a planted tank for a while. I know the basics but had some questions on substrate, plant selection and lighting for what is basically going to be a freshwater nanotank. The staff person who helped me was super knowledgeable, answered my questions and gave me some good advice for getting started. They had a good selection of different kinds of gravel as well as an assortment of driftwood and rocks. I liked that they have a table where you can do a little aquascaping trial and error before you make a final selection. The fish were high quality and appeared healthy. Most were smaller species suitable for planted tanks. I even discovered a new species that I had never heard of - anchor catfish. Super cool and perfect for my little nanotank. I know enough about fish and have been to enough fish stores to know which ones are really good. Rivershore is at the top of the list if you live in the Twin Cities, and especially if you're interested in giving planted tanks a try. Even if its plants aren't your thing or you are new to the hobby, I'd checkout Rivershore for your first aquarium.

I like how the dryer is mounted above each tub for ease in getting your dog (semi) dry. My dog hated the dryer portion of the bath. Parking on Grand Ave worked fine, but there is a small shared parking lot outside the building if you can snag a space there. The larger portion of the store is pet treats, supplies, etc.

We're always impressed with how amazing Sizzle smells after his grooming (it lingers for days!) and how great of a job they've done at de-shedding and trimming him up in all the right places! They've given great advice previously about the right cut for his coat type which we also really appreciate. We've also used this locations mobile nail clipping services for both of our dachshunds and find it really convenient and slick!

The operation IS SPOTLESS! It is sold in small round containers approx 1-2 cups or in 1-2 gallon large round containers. Either FRESH/ or FROZEN. This location houses a large manufacturing operation and large retail store offering SIX full days of being open! Open: Sunday 12-4 Monday. I was picking up an order for me and another order for my friend. I came in and said hello and I told him that my friend just placed an order and I'm here to pick it up and he said well ,I don't know about that . I said she just called in about five minutes ago and I told him her name. I did bring my own bags and they were three large insulated bags.I asked the guy if he could help me get them to the car and he told Me No ,we just opened and I can't help you. A complete stranger that was in the store said he could help me. Not good costumer advice at all. They use to be so friendly and helpful in this location but the change in staff has definitely been noticed .
