Ordered on line and picked up. No issues. In and out. Great selection and friendly employees.

Had a pickup. Service was amazing. They put the items in a cute cardboard tote with a thank you note. recommend

This store has mostly everything you could need for your dog cats and even reptiles and birds as well as other small animals. Prices are a little bit higher here but there are always usually deals going on. There's a huge variety of different dog treat, bagged food, canned food and even raw food. read more

I love the store, not a fan of the groomer. My other dog who loved going to groomer had changed from good to bad. They called us up and asked us to come in, that he was misbehaving. Never happened before he been going grooming world since he was a puppy - adult hood. I have no idea what happen the lady with purple highlights and black hair was scared which is horrible for groomer to do while he was on the table. She wouldn't go by him while he still in that neck thing. You probably can figure out how angry and worried I was seeing my dog at risk. They told us they can't do anything and we have to leave and get him, since then my dog hasn't been the same. I hope to god she fired and never continues grooming. We went to vet and they think he was traumatized. He can't be by any groomer. I have another dog and boy I learned my lesson. I wouldn't trust this place for anything. Shop here but avoid the grooming area of all costs. There are so many better choices. You don't have to believe me, but I warned you. read more

Make sure you double check your prices. I cannot tell you how many times I get to the register and the price is different than what is marked on the shelf. They are CONSTANTLY stocking the shelves with product in the wrong spot. Technically they should give the customer the price that is listed on the shelf. When I mentioned it to the employee, she blamed the customers for moving things around and not putting them back where they go. While I understand that is a possibility- but it happens repeatedly. Today it was a stack (not just one bag) but multiple bags of 50lb dog food. C'mon y'all. Just own it. Whoever stocked the shelves is not putting stuff where it belongs. It's not that hard. Plus, PetSmart is only 10 minutes down the road and tractor supply about 15. Time to move one. read more

I come here to shop for food, toys, and treats for my dog. I like the prices, and everyone seems nice enough, but seems like when I go in to get something on sale (particularly the small bully sticks) they are always out of stock. If you are always running out, then why not order more? If it's a supply issue and you can only get so many, then I would limit customers to a certain amount so everyone gets a chance to get items that are on sale. read more

Outstanding customer service! The prices are a lifesaver. The staff at East Hanover in Nj is Remarkably and probably if not the best experience one could have ! Thank you Jake for grabbing my items due to my horrible eyesight! And thank you Jamie for a wonderful conversation during check out! read more

Most wonderful shopping experience with a great group of caring employees. Best part of Pet Supplies Plus is they offer cat adoptions. read more

Liam went above and beyond for me when I was at the store recently. He assisted me shopping and putting dog food in my cart while I was holding my sleeping toddler. He even offered to escort me to my car to help me pack my car. The staff is always very kind and helpful so we will definitely be returning! read more

First, I got an email offering a discount code. I ordered online and picked it up in store. However, after I entered the store, the staff came to tell me that they canceled my order because my discount code was not recognized. I question why others can use it but I can't. At this time, the staff member raised his voice and yelled at me, don't talk to me, please get out of here and stop this kind of stealing. I've never seen a store that doesn't treat customers like this. As an employee who came to consume, they started abusing me without even speaking. Ridiculous! ! ! read more

Everytime I walk into this store, I'm greeted with friendly smiles. The staff members are super helpful and patient. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. They provide top-notch customer service. Very happy with Hazlet NJ crew. read more

Just started using their authorship recently as my 10 yr old cat has diabetes and the vet recommended Tiki wet food because of the high protein, fat and minimal carbohydrates. My Gwenny loves it, and to know PSP has what she needs is so gratifying, especially with all the chain supply issues. Today was the second time I used the auto ship, Melissa called to let me know what was in stock. I originally was to get this order tomorrow, 2/7...but Melissa was able to get a driver(Betsy), who was very nice, to deliver it today. I have been using Chewy for my auto ship orders, but will now cancel as PSP is more reliable. All the staff there are very friendly. PSP rocks!! read more

Favorite pet store to shop. Nice selection, great prices, and super friendly employees!

Wonderful place to shop if occasionally disapointing that their selection of FF Medleys' cat food is lacking a bit. Seems a good number of Hazleteers are aware of this little gem which most often beats the big box stores on prices, especially with member offers and coupons! Lovely neighborhood store that welcomes pets and their owners, and also has grooming and bathing services. read more

They have a good variety of products . I go there all the timedog food and lizard accessories and crickets and superworms

Great store with a great selection! They have a lot more variety than other pet store chains and have a good selection of the higher end dog food brands that you won't find at petco/petsmart (orijen, acana, fromm, etc.) . Everytime I come here I can always spend a good amount of time here because of the wide selection of things they carry! The dog food and treat selection is great. I really enjoy coming here and browsing new things for my dog to try! read more

Always a good experience. Big enough to have a nice variety but also easier to navigate. There's coupons and special discounts on the website. read more

It's always difficult to find groomers that can groom your dog the way you want at an affordable cost, but then I stumbled upon pet supplies plus groomers and haven't looked back! They always do a great job and my dog loves going to his "spa" day. Sadly, I'm moving out of state this weekend but before we go, I had to make sure we got in one last visit. Also, the little bandannas they give your are super adorable! I'm always excited to see what one my boy gets to add to his collection. I wish I could just pack them up and take them with, haha! Highly recommended these groomers!! read more

Looking for a professional pet groomer is a difficult process. My dog (bichon/miniature poodle mix) and I were lucky the day we discovered Colleen at PetValu in Manalapan. PetValu eventually closed and we followed Colleen to Pet Supplies Plus in Hazlet. Despite the distance, it was worth the trip because my dog always felt at ease with her. Colleen is one of those rare, but dedicated groomers, who understands the psychology of dogs and is kind and gentle. Unfortunately, my dog recently passed away so I will no longer be making that trip. Based on past experience, I highly recommend Colleen to anyone looking for an excellent pet groomer. Then the girl at the register gave me a coupon, took $10 off my purchase... that was great being I was spending over $100! I drove past other pet stores to go there and I'll keep doing that for this great service rocky and I are very grateful read more

I have been a customer for many years now. Not only purchases for my many pets but grooming as well. After my last visit they will never get another dollar out of me! The brats they have working in that store need to learn how to talk to people! The manager needs to be fired! Not only did she raise her voice to me, she rolled her eyes. She has no respect for anyone including her staff! read more

Excellent pet store that carries many brands of pet food you do not see in the other two large stores. I shop the Hazlet store and it is always spotlessly clean, associates are readily available if you have a question or need help, prices are very good and they offer coupons and points where you can earn a free bag of food once you purchase the designated quanity for your pet. Checking out always has polite and helpful employees. The store itself smells free and free of overwhelming orders like some stores. If you are in to starting a fish tank, they have the cleanest tank water anywhere and the healthiest fish. Always has a great stock of pet supplies no matter what kind of pet you keep. Great store! read more

I have spent a lot of money in this pet store mostly on fish that drop dead within a day or 2. My water is perfect. I have 2 tanks 30 gal. community and a 55 gal. Cichlid tank. I have ordered many fish on line and never had any fish die, I've purchased in other pet stores and none have died. Now I go in to buy snails and was told because I bring the dead fish back for credit I can no longer buy fish in Pet Supplies Plus. Most likely because customer are flushing dead fish or trashing them, I feel they need to make good since they sell sickly fish out of dirty tanks. This is fine, beware they have dead fish floating in tanks and stuck to filters these fish aren't healthy at all. They did me a favor by saying I can't buy fish there anymore. I go to 88 Pet World 2076 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724 (732) 899-1920 Where tanks are clean never a dead fish in a tank & much more of a variety. If you care about your fish stay away from Pet Supplies Plus. read more

I went on 3/31/2021 with my husky mix and my sister in law. The store has such a great variety of different foods. I was looking for biothane leashes for my training company but I couldn't find any. Very happy to shop local at my Hazlet PSP! The store is laid out well. No funky smell. Reasonable prices. Very helpful and friendly associates. The day I adopted my pet, I ran to PSP that was closing soon, they welcomed us in and helped me get what I needed to pick her up. Highly recommend! read more

What keeps me coming back is their prices on pet food and supplies, and that's it. A majority of the staff are teenage kids and always seem like they dont care and dont want to be bothered. Theres a ton of workers on at once and they seem to run away when you try and get them to ask for help. read more

this is a great store to shop at. i've been doing curbside since covid, and the workers are always so helpful.

We came in today with our hundred fifty pound rottweiler for the self bathing option. We were a little apprehensive since he doesn't usually do good taking a bath it was the best option self-serve that top-of-the-line soaps it was clean that aprons and if we will be back. They also had towels and aprons and a dryer for the dog all in one spot read more

Great store! Has a great variety of the best foods and treats for your pet. Their prices are competitive and many times under that of a boutique. Plus, they give register coupon for use on next purchase. The staff is helpful and the grooming service was great (it has changed and is now owned by the store, which is a plus). read more

My go to for dog treats! A full array of treats, toys and accessories. Staff is very very helpful. Store is kept very clean.

I will never go anywhere else when shopping for my dog! Nina was very helpful for the entirety of my visit. She recommended me a brand of dog food that was priced very reasonably. While looking for different collars and harnesses, she helped me find a great fit by trying many different ones on my dog. Nina even helped me through the process of engraving a name tag. I would highly recommend this store to any animal lover! They offer great customer service and amazing prices. read more

It is a smaller pet store but has a lot of random treats/toys they do not sell at your main stream pet store chains.

Great store! I have both cats and dogs and always get hard to find food thete. The associate's are always a pleasure to deal with also. They offer coupons and the prices are very fair. Love this store and company. read more

I have shopped in this store for the longest time because it is close, convenient and I always find what I need in there. I agree with the other posters that the staff needs customer service training; I had a horrible experience 2 days ago in the Hazlet store. I was shopping and found a Christmas sweater for my 16 lb. Doxie mix and asked the clerk if it could be exchanged if it did not fit. She was very polite and told me yes. I got the sweater home and when I put it on my pup, it was indeed too snug. The next day I went back to the store up to the 1st register, a young man assisted me and I had my receipt. He asked if I payed by credit or cash. He then discovered it was cash method and said "Oh you will be refunded in cash". I said "Oh, cash is great". A smooth transaction soon turned sour. Then the clincher came...He asked for my drivers license!. I asked why, and he said "We need I.D. to prove it is YOU. I said "why"? He said that is the procedure. My wallet was in the car in the parking lot, and it was not convenient to me that I had to go outside in the cold to walk to my car (I have a bad foot), as I was walking to my vehicle the woman behind me was doing the same thing! I was livid at this point. The original price of the item was $19.99 and was marked down to $9.99 (which was a great savings)! When I got back in the store I said to the young man, "What happens if I didn't drive"? and I didn't have a drivers license, he said "Then we'd need a Government I.D." I said "A government I.D"?! Are you kidding me! Why? He said because it is store policy I guess because of people trying to scam the store with returns. I think it is very unfair that honest people have to suffer because of a "Few bad apples". I will NOT be returning to your store. read more

Great service. Fast fill up on-line orders, polite and helpful staff.

I really enjoy going to this store. They do a wonderful job grooming my dog.

I absolutely love this store. Pet Supplies Plus has many of the premium brand foods that are usually only found at specialty pet supply stores, but at better prices. They offer a discount card and frequent coupons, so you can get some outstanding deals here. They also have a good selection of Made In The USA rawhides and bones. I have a hard time finding such things at bigger pet supply chains like Petsmart and Petco. After all the Made In China pet food horror stories, having trusted American and Canadian made brands is very important to me. PSP also offers grooming, nail clipping, and a vaccination clinic. (Check their website for vax clinic dates.) And best of all, PSP allows animal adoption charities to set up on the premises so that homeless animals have a chance at adoption. That makes me especially happy! read more
