I really like this location because of the employees and how organized everything is. They really take care of their reptiles and provide proper enclosures which you don't see at most pet stores. I love that they work with the 10 lives Club to help adopt out kittens and cats that need homes. They will price match their online prices too which I appreciate. read more

No stars ; at Blasdell store new manager with brown curly hair was rude and very cocky towards customers and their dogs ; yelling at customer about his dog to control him when the dog was very happy and wagging his tail being excited and not jumping or anything ;just very excited to be there ! when I got to register had to return dog food , my dog did not agree with the food I told the new manager, she only had one bowl out of pkg.She told me she didn't have to take it back in a cocky and rude voice ; I said look did you change the rules ,I've always been told you can return the food back if your dog doesn't agree with it and she only had one bowl ! She continued to argue about it ; I told her I don't need this and started walking out with the dog food as she still wanted to argue with me as I was at the door ; Went to West Seneca store where I was greeted by a young boy who was Supervisor and took care of me on return and new dog food who was such a pleasure to be helped by ; What a big difference 5 stars to West Seneca store ;will continue to shop at West Seneca location from on now !!! read more

Made appointment for grooming both my miniature schnauzer puppies yesterday. I should have been skeptical as to why an appointment was available for both dogs the following day. My appointment was with Allie U. I brought specific separate instructions on the boy and girl puppies grooming and explained to Allie. Allie insisted that both my dogs were Maltepooh and not schnauzer. Then proceeds to cut the boy dog like half schnauzer and half Maltepooh. I saw her from the window and I went inside and told her to stop cutting twice. Another groomer also told her to stop. The worse grooming experience ever and my dog has a bald spot. I brought my dog here for grooming for the first time and they were great! We usually use the self-service wash, but he was overdue for a nail trim, de-shedding, and other services. He literally looks like a brand new dog, he's so shiny and fluffy and soft. We will definitely be back. read more

Brought my matted dog Maggie here and she was groomed by Allie. She turned out so beautiful!! I am beyond pleased. You can tell Allie took her time, and did a fantastic job. Even my husband has commented several times about how awesome Maggie looks. Her fur is so soft and the trim was perfect. You definitely have a return customer! read more

The dogfood I buy for my dogs only comes in large bags which are too heavy for me to handle. I prefer to buy the 10 to 20lb. bags of dog food. This prevents me from going with your auto ship program. Guess I'll have to stick with Chewy. read more

My husband purchased an aquarium kit for our son and after getting it all set up with fish inside realized a piece of the filter was missing from our kit. We returned to the store this evening to be confronted by the assistant manager, Debbie Astl. Her behavior was beyond deplorable! She was screaming at my husband, when I asked for the phone number to call the aquarium manufacturer, she was nasty and rude, all while our 7 year old son was present. There was several other staff that went above and beyond to assist my son pick out the fish he wanted for his new aquarium and assist with our struggles regarding the missing kit piece. In my opinion Debbie would benefit from some strong disciple and re-education on customer service while assisting paying customers at Pet Supplies Plus in Blasdell. I personally know we will never be returning! And can only suggest others do the same! read more

When I walked in with my 2 big dogs I thought for sure I could be facing a challenge. Fortunately they were very well behaved and everything needed was in stock. We passed several employees who took the time to greet and pet both pups. While checking out I was asked if I would like help loading the car and immediately took advantage of the offer. This store and the transit rd store have a great selection but everytime I go here the rodents that they have up for adoption either have no water and I have to tell an employee almost EVERHTIME I'm in there that the animals there supossed to care for have no water there guine pigs are almost always sick also a lot of things are so expensive here I go to pet smart for a majority of my stuff now bc mostly everything I need is half the price at pet smart that it is here DONT get me wrong some stuff is cheaper here but not much they need to start hiring people that actually care about animals read more

Absolutely awful experience last week. I live in a rural area and drove 84 miles/3 hours to have my dog groomed only to be turned away because she is over 12. She has been groomed there before, she is registered in their system AND I even received a Happy Birthday email for the dog. Groomer said it is store policy not to groom senior dogs. I had two customers in the store approach me and state they've had the same thing happen to them in this store. Management has not responded to my complaint/concern. read more

I had my dog here for a grooming session. PSP in blasdell. Mind you I have had my dog to a couple groomers prior and never got a bad report on him. Until this appointment. I told the girl (ally) I was aware he had mattes (as I tried to grow his hair out) he is a maltese papillon mix. He had mattes down towards his rear end, and she said his legs. I said I am not opposed if you have to shave him. (Not meaning akin him) because that's been his summer cut anyways. I dropped him off on the 13th at 11:15am for a 11:30am appt. I got a call at 12:18pm and ally sounded shaken. She told me I needed to come get max, he could not stay to get the rest of his haircut because he was becoming aggressive, trying to bite. I was in complete shock. My pup is super playful, loves people, LOOOVVVESSS attention. She said "his hair is not perfect- I'm going to try to fix it so it is not choppy" I said okay, I appoligized for my dog he has never done that before. I did not want to believe it. I still don't believe it. I walked in and found max was buzzed right down to his skin. Shocked. His tail is shaved- his body is shaved. Except paws, half his face, and He has half a goatee. Now, almost a week later he is breaking out in a rash. I was charged a ridiculous amount of money for the cut and "special treatment" he got. What special treatment? Torture? I have never been so disappointed, and disgusted in a cut before. And now I'm wondering what really went on in that session. Whoever the manager was that day I did not ask, made it clear to ally who made it clear to me that max had to go, he couldn't be there. I am not one to make a scene, nor am I one to complain. But now I'm very upset. Hair will grow back. And I wish there was a way I could put a picture up of how horrible this rash is- and how horrible this cut is. I encourage anyone to reach out to me and I would show you. I would NEVER go here for grooming. The only reason i did was because my last grooming session I had him at orchard park psp and the girl there was amazing. (They didn't show up for any appointments so I am not sure their salon is opened). Anyways- good luck to whoever goes here. Disappointment. 95$ for you to completely shave my pup and give "special treatment" for 45 mins. and I still tipped. Not even about the money, but now that the rash is spreading, I couldn't hold myself back from leaving a review. read more

Always friendly, helpful and most importantly there wasn't a dog I saw come in with it's family that didn't enjoy the attention recieved from all the staff I trust the pups, if they like you then I like you. I shop at PSP regularly but yesterday was the first time I've used curbside. It was so easy. But I'm writing a review because I think it's the little things that make this so wonderful! The lady that brought out my order was prompt and so very nice. She was so pleasant and friendly and had a smile on her face. I left feeling so happy with my experience. Then when I got home and unbagged my item I found the cutest thank you card! What a wonderful surprise. I loved it! I was not expecting that, it made my night. It's the little things! Thank you PSP! Recently inherited an 11 month old Pitbull who seems to demolish every bone or toy given to him. They had a wide selection of different foods, treats, and toys. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Prices are a little steep but buying 8 $1 that last 5 minutes or 1 $8 bone that is still intact two days later was worth it. Will visit again. read more

No matter how many times I go here - it's just not impressive. The store has a huge selection. However, every single item we looked at was over priced. Add to that the parking isn't always good and the fact that the staff are less then friendly or helpful and it just plummets on the rating scale for me. The only reason we go here is because of it's location - but this time we walked out with the same as what we walked in with - all of our money and still no ball for Gus! read more

I'm new to the area. I feed my dog raw and occasionally freeze dried. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. As I approached an employee she asked if she could help me. I told her I was looking for freeze dried. she showed me several brands and we discussed them in depth. I found her to be very knowledgeable about all the product. Do not get your dog groomed here! I took my dog in agreed to have a couple mats shaved off and when I returned my dog was completely shaved. my dog is a great Pyrenees and she was shaved to the skin. when we call to complain we got attitude from the store manager. read more

I'm very disappointed in their supposed 2 hour curb side pickup. I ordered an item online on May 27, paid for it and waited for the email telling me the item was ready. Instead, I received a phone call telling me that they were sorry, but the item I ordered is on one of the pallets they just received and they wouldn't be able to get to it until the next day. They would call me the next day (today, May 28) when the order was ready. So I rearranged all my plans to accommodate this. Today around 2 pm, I received another call saying they were sorry, but they just couldn't get the order unloaded so I would have to wait until tomorrow, May 29. I understand things are tough right now due to the covid issue, but you don't accept 2 hour pick up orders for items you don't even have in the store, and then make customers wait 2 days to receive what has already been paid for. That's IF I even get it tomorrow as promised. If the website had told me the item was not available in the store, I would have spent my money elsewhere. read more

12/12/16---We decided to try the Self Service Dog Wash, and we are so glad we did! We brought our own towels and shampoo. Towels and shampoo, as well as dryers are provided. It was so fast and Peanut was clean before she had a chance to get cranky. The young man who showed us how to work it was nice. After years of driving out to Eden or Angola to the dog washes at the car wash places, we have found a new spot. It's closer, it's warm and it's clean. Thank goodness for this option! read more
