The parking is very limited and it's definitely better to call ahead because they don't let a lot of people in at once. All the puppies I saw were healthy, happy, and playful.. We had an appointment right after meeting out puppy and they let us come pick her up afterwards! So nice. And we got all the required paperwork to fly back to Boston with her with no issues.

Bless Cameron at Pet Bazaar…read more After my husband brought Spikey home without the proper supplies or even an enclosure, I headed to Pet Bazaar in full "new bearded dragon mom" mode, and Cameron helped me figure out everything we needed to give Spikey the right setup. About an hour later, I got home thinking we were completely set... only for my husband to announce that he really wanted a front-opening enclosure. So, back to Pet Bazaar we went. Cameron helped us all over again, happily completing the exchange and making sure we had exactly what we needed. He was cheerful, patient, knowledgeable and professional through the entire process, and he even threw in some crickets for Spikey! And somehow, almost unbelievably, we ended up back there a THIRD time. Cameron was still every bit as patient, kind and helpful as he had been on trip No. 1. Thank you so much, Cameron and Pet Bazaar, for helping two very new bearded dragon parents give Spikey the best setup possible. We truly appreciated the incredible customer service and never once felt rushed or like we were asking too many questions. You made a slightly chaotic day so much easier!

Each time, I was looking for very specific items to aide in setting up a new aquatic habit, however, unfortunately they did not carry the items that I was looking buy. I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity and variety of items that they do stock, especially given the small square footage of the shop. They do have a lot more to offer than would be perceived. Each time that I went in, I took a look around the shop to check out the animals and supplies. I went to the counter to inquire about the items that I was hoping to find and was able to quickly get an answer as to whether or not these items were carried or were just out of stock. I did inquire about the price of aquatic plants and neocaridinas. Their prices were more expensive that the big box stores and the small aquatic shop that I usually patronize. That's not to say that I wouldn't ever shop here in the future but it just isn't that often that I need to modify anything in the aquarium. They might be more price competitive for other items.

Upon…read morecheck out, all health concerns were addressed and the store manager as well as sales associate shared with us that her health was 100%. They threw in once we paid $7,000 that she had a "minor" surgery on her lower stomach (inguinal hernia repair) and that it was common. This information wasn't disclosed to us prior to our interest in taking her home. None the less, we took her home with us (back to upstate NY) where she developed more issues her first few days home. She had a upper respiratory infection, and her sutures were probing inside her stomach.. causing to open up and bleed. These were never removed and/or were we given after care instructions. Luckily we have an amazing vet here who helped us with everything. She had 1 visit to the after hours urgent care.. along with various other nights we considered taking her. She has been in and out of the vet. THEN, ever since she had been home she had coughing, sneezing, kennel cough, loose stools, as well as a UTI.. which as of yesterday.. we were told lab results showed a bacterial infection.. that we've tried to treat but the antibiotic did not fight it. As vet bills have added up every week, as dog owners know can be extremely expensive.. we will do what we can to make sure she is back to normal health.. which she may have never been coming from that place. Our vet is now reaching out to Cornell Medical for further advice. We have had nothing but problems with our poor puppy and pray for good health but would NOT recommend purchasing a puppy from this business. ANYONE who is willing or able to forward this to anyone with authority that can close this place down and put an end to how they treat and handle these poor puppies I highly encourage you do.

The city came and condemned the entire building by Wednesday night and we all had to leave. One family has lost everything, the other 3 have lost their homes. While the roofing company and the HOA that hired them are trying to figure out who is responsible, 4 families are looking for a new place to live for the foreseeable future. No relief has come from the roofing company nor the HOA to assist with those efforts. However, I have to tell you all about the amazing people at Magic Pet in Baldwin Park who looked past how busy they already are during the Christmas season, and decided to help the people. As soon as our home was condemned, around 6:30PM Wednesday night, I walked to Magic Pet and told them what had happened and that we needed a place to take our 2 dogs and 2 cats. I told them I didn't know how long they would be there and we needed help. The owner looked at me and said, "Bring Them. Bring Them. We are busy, but we are a community and we are here to help our community. Bring them." I almost cried as one stress was immediately lifted with no questions - just compassion and a willingness to help. If you ever need boarding or grooming services for your pets, they have always treated our sweet pups well - and they are treating the humans well also. While the roofing company and HOA are trying to save as much money as possible and continue to hold someone else responsible for the immense damage, the wonderful owner of Magic Pet made room and DID something to help.
