She not only directed me to the boots, she assisted me in selecting a set. Oliver was so excited he got me all twisted up in his leash. The staff was so helpful, seeing that I was struggling to control my fur baby. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff is why I will go back.

After being on their waiting list for nearly a month, they called me a few hours before his appointment time and said that the groomer was sick and that she would be going home early--therefore, she would not be able to do the grooming. These things happen, but their policy requires 2 days' notice of cancellation. In all fairness, they did offer a 3 p.m. appointment for the next day. My dog tends to get nervous about these things. For his comfort, I gave him his anxiety medication a few hours before the appointment. I arrived just before my appointment, and the first thing I saw was an employee with bright green hair and pink/yellow earrings--screams of professionalism. A snippy groomer checked me in. I mentioned that I gave him anxiety medication (issued by my vet), and she told me that they wouldn't be able to groom him because of that! She said "That policy is not on our website, but should be." What a colossal waste of time! I took off work early to bring him up there, only to find out this. Not only will I not bring my dog there for grooming, but I will not shop here in the future because of this. What a frustrating experience.

Our dog's coat was very overgrown and long overdue for a good grooming. Kathie was able to fulfill our request for a short "puppy cut" and our dog's coat was shiny and extremely soft!!! We've been to other places in the past and left with subpar results that have cost the same or slightly more and taken 3-6 hours. Kathie had our dog completed in about 2 hours. Also, picked up a few of their home-made treats while we were there.

I first walked in, greeted by the staff, and was asked if I needed help. Of course I did because first time being there. Kelsey at the Lake St Louis location, she was PERFECT to my Stella and I. I explained what happened to Stella's previous groom, which was cut very short because Stella is a scared, sassy girl who likes to scare people with teef. Kelsey showed me all the tools at the self wash station. She also explained how to use the wash, what shampoos they have for the customer to use. AND since I was having so much trouble getting Stella into the tub, Kelsey asked me if Stella was treat motivated, which the treat helped me get her in the tub!! It was such a magical experience to see that my dog calmed down once she knew I was the one bathing her with tons of treats that Treats Unleashed provide for your pet to feel calm as possible. A WONDERFUL place to practice positive reinforcement with your animals, for bathing especially. I signed up for their reward program ASAP by Kelsey, got a welcome goodie bag with poop bags and nice training treats in a bag! Heck with people's previous reviews. The drives are very pretty on the outer edge of 40!! The neighborhoods are very nice, well kept, and free of clutter. The restaurant selection is a few, but limited. Basic fast food, Mexican, Chinese, and Anerican/bar food options are available. Wentzville is just an exit away off their main strip so not too far at all for a wider selection. Definitely has that hometown feel to it which is nice! People are very friendly and the customer service provided around town is awesome! Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and ATT have strong cellular signals out here. Charter, Dish, and DirectTv are available for internet and tv providers. The lake and surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful! The also have the Shoppes at Lake St. Louis with a ton of stores, did I mention a Von Maur?! Bed bath and beyond, Walmart, a small pet store, just to name a few. Also Schnucks and numerous gas stations. It's up and coming for sure, not sure how much it will expand being so close to Wentzville but highly recommend!

This place made ZERO ATTEMPT TO MAINTAIN THE BREED HAIR CUT. Below are two pictures, one of our Miniature Schnauzer with a hack job of a haircut, and the other of a proper Schnauzer cut. Sebastian claims they "do not deal with matting". The matting on this dog was minimal and often is brushed out, or trimmed, other groomers have zero issues. We discussed the mats as we usually do, so that we can be made aware of any deviation to the style. The owner claims to have called to receive authorization, because they "always receive authorization before doing anything other than discussed". There are no missed calls recorded of such authorization to shave her, just a recording to pick the her up.

The staff is super friendly and the owner is a very nice guy. My dog was always a little uneasy after leaving petsmart, now he gets sad when he leaves Sebasteins. I like how this place keeps the dogs in a open play area with other dogs, and not locked in small cages. The quality of work they do is awesome, I would highly recommend bringing your pet here! You won't be disappointed, and they are cheaper then those big pets stores.
