I've never had to purchase flea shampoo, collars, sprays and whatever else to combat the pest. Quarantine? Our pups were in the separate kennel with no other pups in with them as the kennel was not full. So they were being kept away from others. So how did they get the fleas? I wasn't there. Clearly. Did they commingle my Yorkie with other dogs? Most likely. He was the one with the highest infestation. And in the same run with his terrier sister. They were needing the most treatment. And it didn't take long to figure it out. Once we got home we quickly learned that we had a problem. We have never had a SINGLE FLEA in our house and once you notice one you very quickly learn that there are others. Our pups have never been out in public other than to the occasional veterinary appointment. So after dealing with the infestation for more than two weeks of this gross negligence on the part of Bark Central, I posted on Yelp to help someone else avoid this same catastrophe. Because that's what it is when you're bathing, washing, vacuuming etc trying to rid the pests from your house. The fleas weren't on them when checking in and I had no reason to believe they'd have them when leaving 6 days later. If they had a flea problem they should've offered the checkout bath for free instead of another charge. As for the playtime charge for our puppy, we were charged for all 6 days of his playtime. I have the bill to show it. Paid in full. Once home with fleas what's the point of calling the kennel? They know they have a problem given that they should be observing the animals and could clearly see the scratching. We did on just the drive home. We might add that not only did we bring the fleas home with us upon checkout, but the facility manager also made mention that our pup had just pooped on his pillow before he was able to collect him and his stuff (pillow, toys, etc). When we got home we opened the bag with his pillow and there was his pillow and the poop at the bottom of the bag. Instead of just leaving it in the run that clearly needed to be cleaned anyway, he bagged it and sent it with us. Very considerate. This is what you can come to expect from the staff of this facility. I don't care what the owner may claim but my experience says it all. I have nothing to gain from leaving the review and my only hope is that anyone else considering leaving their animals here do their homework. Check the reviews for starters. We skipped that step but thought by touring the facility we had covered doing research. But if they're not checking for fleas then it's impossible to know from time to time what experience you're going to be left with. Hopefully yours is not ours.

Because we are needing to board our little guy for a bit, we had to do a trial day to see how he was going to do. And he did great, lol. We watched on the live feed how uninterested he was in doing dog things and just lied down with two other puppies. We then booked him a two night stay, and upon pick up, he was ready to go! We opted for him to get a bath before our scheduled pick up so he was nice and fluffy for us! Daetheon was very helpful and cordial! He let me know his experience with my little guy. We like the team so far here and look forward to more playtime here!

I wish I could leave separate ratings for grooming and daycare. So please know they are two very…read moredifferent things. First, the very bad: the grooming. (This happened in June but I'm just now getting this posted.) Our household currently has three doodles. We had an appointment scheduled to take all of them at the same time. I talked to the groomer, who said that she was fine with it, and that would be a full day's grooming for her. We dropped off the dogs, and the groomer didn't show up. CBW was VERY NICE about it. They finally reached the groomer, who rescheduled the groomings for another day. CBW also offered to do the groomings at no cost, which was very generous. We took the dogs back the next week. When we got them home and looked them over, we were extremely disappointed at the quality of their cuts. They were so uneven and choppy. One of the dogs apparently hadn't been finished as her face wasn't done. Another dog didn't really seem trimmed at all. None of them had their nails done. I ended up talking with the manager about the poor quality of the cuts. Fortunately, we hadn't had to pay for the cuts. I would never return there for a cut nor would I recommend them as long as the groomer whose name starts with D is working there. Even if the grooming was free. (I ended up grooming all three dogs myself.) Now the very good: the daycare seems to be very good: our three dogs have spent just one day there so far (we will take advantage of their service more) and two of the three thoroughly enjoyed it. Dropping them off and picking them up was easy, with convenient parking. Our dogs did well. The tiny introvert just sat under a cubby hole most of the time, just like she does at home. Later, when fewer dogs were around, she did come out a bit, which was a good sign. CBW has cameras on so you can obsessively watch your puppers all day (except on rest breaks) which is cool. Our doggos came home happy and tired. We will definitely be taking them back, and I think even the little one will enjoy it, although she'll never admit it. They do have a calendar of special events and days where dogs can get a bath for a discount.
