I would have been far more understanding had I received a phone call about the injury instead of being surprised. My puppy had to have been like that for a long time considering the eye swelling, drainage, and pawing at it. Then, hours later, when the owner contacted my husband she tried to pin the blame on "puppies will play" and blame us for accusing her staff as being inadequate. Very defensive and non-apologetic. I would much rather trust a larger, more established business than attempt to return here.

Connie has jumped out of a moving car (luckily turning into a driveway), broken a plate glass door, and threatened to rupture ear drums with his piercing demand barking to name a few. When visiting him for his coming home training, he was truly a changed dog. He was calm, attentive, and eager to show what he learned. THIS was the goal. I have trained my previous dogs, but had finally met my match. I am so confident that he has the tools now to succeed and expand his world by getting to go places and meet new people. Max was our trainer. I highly recommend him and suggest you request him. When I went for MY training for how to continue this work at home, it was clear to see he loved my dog and my dog absolutely loves him. Connolly is an Irish Setter mix and stubborn as heck, for him to adore the person who has effectively stopped him from being a little tyrant speaks volumes. Max gave us detailed instructions as well as amazing photos and updates throughout Connie's stay. It is clear that this isn't just a job for Max, dogs are his passion. He did the arduous task of training Connie and it is now up to me to reinforce all that he has learned so he doesn't lose it! Then got hit up for an e collar that I was told cost $215…read more Went back next day to get an e collar and they tried a switch and bait wanting to charge me $285. They train by shocking the dog. That's lazy so called training. And paid extra for unleash training which doesn't work unless you shock them. Taking my dog to a real trainer that doesn't use a shock collar and I get to be involved not just a for an hour but every class. Save your money and frustrations. There are less expensive real trainers that don't use E collars and you don't have to board them.

Delilah has groomed both my dogs and done a great job. They're big dogs and have lots of hair! The most telling thing is both my dogs like going there. I'm going to be honest. We were unsure if it was a good idea to try and board our dog again. We…read morehave had bad experiences with other places in the past and know that our dog can be harder to work with. We brought her to Westin ahead of this booking, toured the facility and asked a lot of questions before making the decision to book for a quick weekend trip. We dropped her off, had everything completed beforehand online, answered medical and behavioral questions upon check in, they took her own harness and leash off and she went back no problems. We were not allowed to leave any familiar items such as her own bed or blankets. Thursday night and Friday night were fine from what I was told but Saturday morning I got the call I was worried about, that her behavior was changing and that she bit a worker when trying to get her in or out of a room or take her leash off. I never want to hear that my dog hurts someone or another dog so I wanted to make sure they were ok or what we needed to do. I was told nothing at that point and we went over if there had been any changes or something different some to the dog to cause a change since there were no issues up to this point. I was told no again and we went over other things to try but if it was not helping to call me back and we would come get her immediately. A few hours go by and I get another call that nothing has changed and while the dog was welcome to stay for the night reserved no one would be handling her except for a manager as needed. I said we would be there as soon as possible to get her. When we got there I apologized again for their employee being hurt, paid for the time she was there went over a few additional details which included how stressed out she became, how much she drooled all over herself, why her mouth was bleeding because she was "attacking the gate" we took her home. When we got home and began to examine her more closely we were shocked to find her chin and neck rubbed raw with what looks like rope burns. Now I don't know for sure what happened but if this is any indication of what happened to make my dog lash out at your employees because you dragged her around with a rope leash on her neck for the weekend then shame on you and your facility. She sure didn't come in Ike this and I highly doubt that much drool caused this much damage in a day. We will be taking her to our vet and she what they have to say then you will be hearing from us with the cost! DON'T LET THEM BOARD YOUR DOGS!
