A little background, we (my wife Marie and I) are senior citizens with health issues and Meah also has numerous health issues. on several occasions the owner Lawrence came by and picked up Meah in his own vehicle for her bi-monthly bath treatments when I was hospitalized. Lawrence definitely goes above and beyond in providing respectful, supportive service to his customers. Amanda is our girls groomer and has a very special relationship with both our girls, especially Meah. She is able to get Meah in and out of our car when no one else can get her to move. You can see that Amanda is truly a dog person. If you need grooming services or anything for your pet, including but not limited to; high quality dog food, various all- natural chews, amazing toy selection, bowls, collars, leashes, literally anything you could need for your dog is here. We really like them but more importantly, our dogs like them. First of all, I like the fact that dogs are free to roam around the shop while others are getting trimmed. It kinda works like a doggy daycare and helps our dogs get socialized with the other dogs that are getting trimmed on that given day. I have seen my two Shih Tzu dogs get mixed in with other medium and small dogs without problems. One of my dogs is really social but the other one has not been. I can say I have noticed a difference in his social behavior with other dogs since coming here. I will also say that our dogs behavior with the groomer is better here as well. We suspect that one of our dogs may have been mistreated by a different groomer we used to use and his behavior while at the groomer has drastically improved since being brought here. Second, we are pleased with the cuts our dogs have received. Most of the time, we keep their hair pretty short. Florina does a good job of getting knots and matted hair removed but on occasion must cut them a little shorter to get it all out. You can tell that she loves all of her furry customers. Bottom line: They do a good job of grooming our animals and the dogs are not caged. We have been pleased.

The main reason I felt the need to review this PetSmart is for their training classes to supplement the training methods that I have read/used before with my other dogs. My Blue Heeler puppy took beginners classes and we are currently enrolled in the Intermediate. The trainer, Amy, is FANTASTIC! Seriously this woman has been a Godsend to me as my blue heeler had severe leash reactivity (something I've never dealt with before)! Thanks to Amy my Bailey has made long strides in getting over her fears. Not only is Amy very knowledgeable, she always has a great attitude, is always cheerful, and goes above and beyond to help out We still have some work to do but knowing that I have Amy to assist me and give feedback has been a tremendous help. Since we first enrolled in the Beginners class in January until now, April, for the Intermediate class, there has been a huge change in my dog. Amy has helped me over come the obstacles that I have experienced with Bailey. My pup gets so excited to go to class each week and learn new things and it also helps her to have the much needed supervised, controlled interactions with other dogs and people. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get basic training for their dog in the Galveston County area give this PetSmart & Amy a try!

She couldn't show it to me and begrudgingly checked me out but without asking she called the manager up. The manager lady couldn't show me a policy either. The lady at the check out was extremely rude. I will never go there again. Common sense doesn't exist if they think that I needed to follow a law print when no one was in line.

I was nervous about trying mobile groomers, but I wanted to give a shot just to see if it could be an option. It was an amazing experience. Paige was so friendly to me and my pups, none of us were nervous. She is very experienced and you can tell that she really cares about the animals like they are her own.
