When I went to pick them up they tried to charge me $50 each. I left a review on their FB page, the owner messaged me. This summer I called and ask the price for the same workup for my border collie. They said it would be $70 for bath, express, toe nails and ears. When my husband picked him up they charged him $90, he did not tell me this. Last week we took the collie back for the same workup. They charged him $80. When he brought the dog in you could smell him from 8 feet away. I asked if he was bathed and he said he asked them when he picked up the dog and they said that would cost an extra $15. I'm not sure what else happened at the groomers, the dog went straight to his kennel and wouldn't come out to eat or drink for 2 days. I will never recommend Pup Town Grooming. If you look at the reviews on their FB page there are some concerning reviews on there.

No video shows incident. They also claim no responsibility to injury and I'm left with a very hefty medical bill. Pet owners need to be aware that this place and possibly others will leave you with just a "Sorry that this happened"!response if your dog is injured. I picked a level 5 but the owner talked me into a level 4 since it'll be easier to manage the shedding with. When I called and made the appointment, I told the lady I did not want him shaved or cut too short. When I arrived I told the lady 4 times that: 1. I've never had a dog groomed before so a professional recommendation would be appreciated. 2. Do not shave MY DOG!!! I want to keep him longer just trim all the wispy hairs up and give him an GOLDEN CUT. I kid you not... I picked him up and he is SHAVED!!! All but his tail was touched. I was at a loss of words. We called after I got home and now the owner is arguing with us and refuses to believe he really is that short. She also told me it was MY fault because I "pointed" at the board when the cut lengths. As a professional... would you advise if cuts were against what the customer asked for? Wouldn't you guide them in something that's new to them but THEIR PROFESSION?!? I will never return and will forever warn people about the incompetence running wild through this facility. His undercoat has been damaged. His hair texture has completely changed. His coat doesn't grown back in curly anyone (my favorite part and the whole reason I don't want him shaved). Our vet advised us, it won't ever grow back the same and will take at least two years to fix the damage they caused. This is your warning- do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Every time I took him and specifically gave instructions on his grooming, he never looked the same any time I took him. It was always different and always a new excuse. Nails didn't get clipped most visits, never bothered to blow off the excess hair after a cut , so every time we got in the car hair would fly everywhere when he shook off. Please do not take your loving pets here ! Not even if it's convenient. I would drive far and long to stay away from this horrible groomer. I have found a new great place ! TLC on Hwy 31 .
