So it really means a lot to me to have the right groomer. I think I found our next groomer with Lissy K's. She grooms only one dog at a time, she is gentle and friendly and my dogs really loved her. She did a great job. I can tell she is an animal lover and I felt very safe leaving my fur babies with her. I was actually really impressed. And bonus she sells Girl Scout cookies too! Haha. Thank you so much. Great job. Your skills on my yorkie/poodle/pom mix are impressive. I loved that she goes into a hammock and can just fall sleep while she gets her cut. I also loved that you dry them right away so they are not cold. Again! Thanks she looks great!

I'm very disappointed in the care and communication I received from this grooming business. My dog…read morehad her nails trimmed, and one was cut far too short, causing her to bleed continuously for over four hours. What's most upsetting is that no one informed me of the injury when I picked her up. I only discovered it once there was blood all over my car and home. When I contacted the owner, Olivia, her suggestion was to bring my dog back--still actively bleeding--which was not feasible, especially with a newborn at home. Instead of offering a sincere apology or reasonable solution, Olivia made an incredibly inappropriate comment: "I'm glad that you can have kids." Accidents can happen, but how they are handled matters. I'm not upset that my dog's nail was cut too short--I'm upset that I was not told about it and that the situation wasn't properly addressed before I left. The complete lack of communication and the way the owner responded afterward were completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this business to anyone who values transparency and basic compassion for both pets and their owners.

She was kind, patient, and really connected with my nervous guy. One thing that really struck me about StF is that they go out of their way for customers. While my dog was scheduled at large dog pricing based on his weight, she made it a point to downgrade him to medium when she saw him in person. When I asked if I could add on an additional service for an additional price, she told me they'd be happy to do it for no extra charge. They also text you pictures of your pet, which made my day. I'll be a Scruffy to Fluffy loyalist from here on out. Thank you for taking such great care of my guy!

Gabi is excellent with our teenager, very receptive to Lana's needs and she & Karsten take very good care of her by providing tons of play, multiple walks and regular water breaks as needed. I love that they are very good with communication, they ask how we have trained her & use those commands and we get regular updates all day regarding how she is doing. The space is beautiful, clean and green and well-maintained. Their sweet dog Coco is an added bonus and she & Lana got along almost immediately. I highly recommend sending your pet(s) to The Bark Barn if you are in the Westerville/New Albany area. Gabi and Karsten are amazing pet sitters who are very receptive to the needs of your pet and genuinely care about how you want your pet taken care of/trained/special needs - which we found is a rare quality in other over-crowded daycares and which we really appreciate!

Sending Nash to Tranquil Pax for their 10-day board and train program has genuinely transformed…read moreboth his life and mine. Before training, Nash was an incredibly happy and energetic dog, but he struggled with basic manners, controlling his excitement and energy, had essentially no recall, and needed a lot of work on general obedience. He was also terrible about leash jumping and biting at the leash when he got excited, which made walks especially challenging. Liz completely exceeded my expectations. She worked with Nash on all of these things and then some, and the difference is truly incredible. Nash now has reliable recall, can walk off leash, listens even in high-distraction environments, and understands commands like "place," which has made such a huge difference in our everyday life at home. His leash manners have improved tremendously, and those frustrating jumping and leash-biting behaviors are no longer controlling our walks. I can now take him to so many more places and actually enjoy those experiences with him because I know he will listen and come when called. The best part is that Nash is still the same happy, goofy, energetic dog he has always been -- he just now has the control and obedience to match his personality. He is such a great dog, and I feel like I have a completely different level of freedom and connection with him. I am so incredibly grateful to Liz and everyone at Tranquil Pax for the time, patience, and work they put into Nash. These 10 days have made a bigger difference in our lives than I could have imagined, and I truly cannot recommend Tranquil Pax enough!
