I wish I had read the reviews!! To start, I made an appointment for 9 AM and my cat wasn't taken in until after 10. They never made it clear that this is a drop off kind of vet, you don't go back into an exam room with your pet. So I had to make arrangements to have her picked up, since I thought it was safe to assume that I would be free to go into work at 12-4. During intake, the technician opened up her carrier to take a look at her in the waiting room where dogs were present which felt super unsafe. Then for pick up, they told me she was ready and I had to wait over half an hour to be seen again. I requested an itemized receipt for the $360 I paid for treatments and was given this illegible piece of paper. I wasn't told (and if it's on this paper I couldn't make it out) what ointment they put on her skin, so the next morning when she had accidentally ingested some of it after getting her cone off and was having poisoning symptoms, I had no idea what she had consumed and they were closed so I couldn't call. This whole experience has left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. Also, I asked if I couldn't just get an over-the-counter iron supplement to try to lower my bill and they said "no, we really recommend you get this one since she has mild anemia," but I went home and looked and found the exact same one available OTC for $8 cheaper. I can appreciate that they're trying to provide affordable vet care which is so needed, but I cannot recommend their services. Side note: Moreso weird than anything but Shrek was playing on a loop in the waiting room at a pretty loud volume and I felt like it was making my cat even more stressed out. read more

Aside from the front desk receptionist, this place is garbage and incredibly unprofessional. Training dogs in the military for over 20 years while working hand and hand with vets all over the world, this was by far the worst/most ignorant staff I have ever seen. They will try to force you to pay for stuff your pet does not need. Unbelievable that spays are free everywhere and they acted like they were about to do brain surgery on my dog which had been fully taken care of up to the point I almost let them cut my dog. We found a very sick kitten with a bulging eye under a house and took him in -- he clearly needed a vet. While we do have a normal vet for our animals, we looked for something that would be affordable considering this was a stray we didn't know would survive. They took the kitten and didn't even examine him until 8 hours later (and this only happened when I went in to ask for the kitten back). The vet was not impressive -- he said he had only seen the "situation" once before and said that eye drops could fix it. They claimed to draw blood and charge for it, which they never did. We did buy the eye drops and spent over $400 on this visit. OUR NORMAL VET WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER. I recently called to get another eye drop prescription because we ran out and it seemed to be working and they refused to give it to me unless I brought the cat in for another appointment where he would sit in a crate for 8+ hours and we would be charged another $400. I said no, y'all are crooks and clearly don't care for animals. DO NOT go here. If you have a vet, go to them regardless if the animal is a stray. I promise you will get better care and it will actually be cheaper. This is the most disorganized, unethical "vet" practice I've been to, and with the fosters I take in, and I've had my share of experiences. They don't care for the animals, just the money. read more

They schedule app their surgeries in block appointments. For example, 10 or more surgeries are scheduled for 0915. They told me to arrive early because it was first come first serve. My pet and I were the first ones to arrive, yet my baby was the last one to be taken back. I was there for 2 1/2 hours waiting just to have her taken back. They are very disorganized. Only one person was working the front desk. When I would ask when I would be taken back all they say is "The doctor is reviewing the paperwork." I saw 4 very frustrated people walk out of the waiting room due to them taking so long. The clinic has a very small waiting area. Most people and pets had to wait outside in the drizzle. When I picked up my baby in the afternoon she was covered in blood and smelled so awful. I had to clean the blood off of her when we got home. Her incision became infected. I spoke to 2 other people in the waiting area who's dogs also got an infection. One said the incision opened! You spend more than the quote. It's $25 extra to return and have the stitches removed. It's extra for a cone collar. It's extra for pain medicine. They don't include it in the quote. I will never take any of my animals there again. We were told to get there at 9:15 for a spay drop off. We got there at 9 and it took two hours for them to bring our dog back. They added an insane amt of ridiculous charges that they didn't even tell us about. Like they charged $45 to keep her in a cage because she was considered large breed..she's 30 pounds. After leaving they called saying she needed almsot $200 worth of extra stuff but couldn't tell me why she needed anything. It took almost 3 hours for them to bring her to me when I picked her up. They forgot to microchip her, she came to me literally covered in dried blood, and razor burn all over her belly and thighs. After getting home she was peeing straight blood. We took her to a different vet and was told the spay caused bruising on her bladder from trauma. I called Pet Shotz to talk about concerns and the person just gave excuses and no accountability. It would have been cheaper to take her to a regular vet that did not cause her harm from negligence than it was to take her here and have to take her to a regular vet and pay a whole new vet bill for fixing their mistakes. This post is misleading.. the rabies shots are free and then they tack on other shots ... without telling you, because in parentheses it says, and other vaccinations, if needed, . IF NEEDED, but it doesn't tell you to bring proof of vaccinations so you don't get charged for the other shots . No where does it say bring proof of vaccinations! They tell me to have the vet send the records... you know as well as I do they are not going to drop everything to send vet records, you are going to have to wait an extra hour or two. I have been here in the past to get the Free rabies shot only. They wanted to charge $300 for 3 chi dogs. They are stupid! When I left at 12:30 they still had not yet taken any dogs back. WAITED OVER 3 hours!!!! Was SKIPPED in line over & over again!!!!!! Came to get ONE test ran on my dog all standard stuff. Noticed as all the people before me got called, i was charged for the tests and meds, & proceeded to notice that people who arrived after me were being called before hand. When i spoke up and asked why that was, the techs told me i had arrived after them. Which was in fact not true & i even had an older lady who was honest about arriving after me let them know as well & they did nothing about the situation. Even after being charged within the first hour they had the audacity to ask if i still wanted my dog to be seen after letting them know how long id been waiting. They began being rude and not empathetic at all. You can tell these are not the kind of people that should be handling these kinds of situations. A standard test should not take 3 hours. Nor should a tech need to ask an owner if they want their dogs seen after waiting very patiently and only after asking how much longer it'd be did they start behaving inappropriately. will definitely not be coming back. They could've rectified the situation or at least handled it with some grace but no the male tech choose to make the situation worse. I found a stray kitten about 3-4 weeks old and was told it wasn't old enough for shots or deworming. They said because the cats nose was wet that it needed X-rays to look for respiratory problems. Never had owned a cat before and I found it from a real veterinary that cats noses are supposed to be wet! They took full advantage of my inexperience and walked out of there with $400.00 LESS for nothing. They would have done more things that the kitten didn't need to try to get more money but I finally started asking questions. And still NO SHOTS OR DEWORMING. They wanted to do a fecal exam to a 3 weeks old kitten! I drew the line there because they didn't know what excuse to use for the exam. I saw how they worked and were treating dogs and cats after a spay/neuter surgery. They were given back to their owners in the hall way; the pets still under anesthesia and covered in brown surgical antiseptic. Your body cannot regulate temperature when you are under anesthesia and the pets were shaking to death. They were not careful with handling them at like they should be after surgery. I also saw returning pets due to infections after surgery. One lady walked in and was very concerned about her dogs at risk of being put down unless she got them neutered. The receptionist said they were booked for 12 months but by coincidence they had a cancellation if she brought it in by 3 she can fix one of them putting the lady in a high pressure situation. I spent 7 HOURS on a walk in due to the receptionist not being able to keep track of paperwork. I was standing in their waiting room for 2, TWO, hours before realizing she had forgotten about me. They decided to call me, by phone, while I am standing in the waiting room and once I didn't answer then skipped me. The receptionist told the lady who works in the back she called my name but when I reappeared from around the corner I could see the "oh shit" moment in her face when she realized she threw away my paperwork so I got to fill out yet another copy. So the lady in the back, instead of checking the camera back like I said she was welcome could that I was under for 3 hours, claimed I was just plain wrong. I made 3 friends while waiting who were all nice enough to REMIND the receptionist I actually needed to me seen because she can't keep track of who needs to pay to move things along. I paid a total of 3, THREE, times in the 7 hours I was there just to consistently be told my cat needed more and more treatment. I had to complain several times just to get my paperwork done only to wait even longer. The receptionist also took the time to wait to talk to me so she could send a message on her watch and then looked up. After of course another coworker was nice enough to come out of the back to catch her up and actually get the appointments somewhat back on track. I literally had to stand in front of her to make sure my paperwork got done and I could leave the premises. My husband finally called, while I was standing in the waiting room, to check on our cat and the receptionist who couldn't keep track of the paper work left him on hold, then hung up on him. He then called back and they again placed him on hold. Some woman said he stated he wanted me to call him. NO. When I FINALLY got home with our pet he said he asked if I got the animal back. That was a lie. When I FINALLY complained enough and he called enough to get my animal back 7 hours later, the doctor said he owned the property and they all work hard to fit every appointment in. So they are overbooking themselves at the customer expense. He finally apologized to me, the first apology of the day because the receptionist definitely didn't take the time to, and I let him know that was part of my complaint. He stated he's instructed the receptionist to be stone face and not reply when she gets yelled at and that was a continuous issue. No one took responsibility for the issue and my time spent in their office giving multiple payments to them but the doctor definitely thinks everything is good to go. He also specifically mentioned he would apologize on her behalf to avoid a negative review but I'd rather explain my situation than someone be left worried about their pet. Attempting to explain the basic idea of customer service needing to be part of not only her roles and responsibilities but all of his staff was a complete waste of my time. The woman who works in the office also tried to make a scene in front of other customers claiming I wanted an apology when I said multiple times I just want the items I needed to leave the premises. One of the customers suggested I call the police considering they refused to give me my animal. They also do not close at 5 as it states. I fortunately was FINALLY given my pet early enough to not close with them. I will never ever bring my pet here again and please think twice before you bring them. They do offer day prior drop off between 9am-3pm but I gotta wonder if that's an insane wait as well. Dr. Rogers was the only one who cured my dogs ear infection He had infection since 1 year and I tried 5-6 different Veternery doctors and hospitals and clinics without him getting a relief from pus coming out of his ear and pain. Honestly this place is what it is .... A low cost clinic where the staff is most likely underpaid and overworked. However there are a few things that have always been pretty bad but has gotten much worse Since the opening of the new clinic. While I applaud what this vet is trying to do, I am extremely disappointed with the staff on my last visit. This new girl who they have at the front desk has ZERO customer service. She is rude and gives no direction and honestly I'm surprised she has a job at all. It was really like being served by a scared shy teenager that also a huge attitude problem. They usually say we'll call you when your pet is ready, cool usually this worked out well in the past. In the past 10 years I have probably brought around 10 animals to be fixed here. In all that time the call usually come at around 4 or 5 pm. So with this expectation I preemptively head down there. Now mind you these are my personal pets so the degree of anxiety is already a bit heightened. So I go inside and this new girl who I've already not had a great experience with , just stands there staring at me. I said hello I'm just trying to check on my pet (at this time it's already almost 6 which is what time they close). She literally thumbs through the paper and utters the words "oh idk the paperwork is still up here , so there probably still in recovery ". Basically she didn't know her ass from her elbow. She clearly was confused on how a vet clinic works at all. Instead of actually having compassion and checking she literally told me idk like that's an acceptable answer. Long story short I waited until 8:35 to even get my pets. When going over paperwork and pain meds she was still just clueless. Not sign here , they will bring your pet shortly , nothing but blank stares or rudeness. When I did ask a question she acted like I should've already know the answer. Honestly this place seems like it's really going down hill with the new staff members and vet techs who obviously don't know what they are doing as they have killed two pets in the last month. I wanted to give this place a better review because they were able to get me in quickly and services are reasonably price. The staff was very helpful and kind to start with but by the end of the day their patience was worn down. This place is definitely a fast paced working environment and their clinic needs help with organization and their day to day practice. To start with they schedule everyones surgery at 8:30 AM. When I arrived it was 8:15 and there was already a line out the door with about 45 people ahead of me. By the time I got to registration it was 11:45 AM and my patience was wearing thin. But the receptionist was very attentive and apologetic. She was able to get me checked in quickly and they took my pet back. Pick up was much of the same story and I can tell the staff was over worked, over the entire day and ready to go home. They called me about 3:45PM to let me know my pet was ready for pick up. Upon arrival you have to wait in yet another line and they come out and get your pets name. Once your pets name has been called they go in and look for paperwork and place it in racks for check out. This was a disaster people were miss placing paperwork and meds. There was no organization, there was no flow. People with questions made it difficult for the staff to check out easily. They constantly had to go back and asked the Vet questions. Outside customers fed up with the wait were arguing and yelling with the "office manager". I read more
