I took my little Shit zhu Dolly to Dave at the pet Salon yesterday. When I picked her up she looked like a little show dog. I love that he called me as soon as she was ready,this way she didn't have to be crated very long. When she went in, her fur was was very long, matted and unmanageable. When she came out her fur was so white and soft, and her haircut was so perfectly cut. He took special care and time around her eyes and tail and all these intricacies that normally groomers overlook. His prices are competitive about the same as Petco,but the quality of his work is much higher. I am so happy and she will only be going to Dave for grooming from now. read more

Update: I have moved away and have not used this salon since last fall. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment and the owner informed me that Dave is no longer there and also told me the reason he is no longer there, I don't blame her for that by the way. She was short and brusque, I imagine I would be upset talking about that too. However, picking a groomer for my large pack is difficult and trust is key. She didn't seem interested in building that trust with me so I called this morning and canceled. My rating stays the same since I don't have a new grooming experience with them. Just wanted to let every one know about the change in staff. Especially if you disliked Dave, maybe give this place a second chance. Dave is the best! I have a geriatric dog with cancer and arthritis and he is the only one I trust to be gentile with him. The is the first place my dogs don't freak out about going to get groomed and the hair cuts are consistent, meaning my dogs look exactly the same every time I pick them up. I love that. She's very small and I've had problems with other groomers in the past cutting her. I've never had a problem with this groomer and customer service is always good. This little pet groomers shop is little but great! We were so pleased with the great cut for our little shih tzus, as well as his well-trimmed nails! It took a little longer than usual, but there aren't many groomers open at this time because of the virus, and then it takes him a little more time because they have to go out to the car to pick up the dog and take the dog back out after he's done. I took my two ragdolls to Pet Salon following treatment for fleas with Program and Frontline. Pet Salon spent a considerable amount of time, over 3 hours, to shave them and flea bathe them until all signs of the fleas were gone. Despite this being their first instruction to a bath and them being a bit ornery, they came back home looking cute and their hair cuts were nice and even. Very satisfied with the service. It did take quite a long time though. But for the price & distance for me it was worth it. Checked for any nicks & cuts, but saw none so that means they were careful with my dog. He doesn't seem to be itchy or licking/biting any places, and according to them, he did well under their care. I'm fairly eccentric when it comes to my two standard poodles but Janette was extremely patient with me and my pooholes. I brought some pictures in and asked them to blend three different styles of poodle cuts and she was able to execute exactly what I had envisioned, if not better.
