They truly care about the animals they are caring for! One of our bulldogs doesn't do well in thunderstorms and she recommends all natural gel for her to take! I never would had known about that product if it weren't for her. They also started the girls sheets in the wash and were in the dryer waiting for us when we got home so they wouldn't run out of clean bedding!! Oh and I'm pretty sure they swept the house since both girls shed white hair and there was hardly any on the floors! I know if we ever have to go out of town they will love on our girls and take wonderful care of them as well as our home! They both provide pictures every time they come over which is awesome to see pictures of our girls! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our girls!! We get our food, water and medicines on time.  Our time is filled with hugs, playing ball, lots of attention and fun walks.  After each visit, Fetch! posts an update to our parents to tell them what we did, how we behaved, the path of our walks and even when we pooped!  (SO EMBARRASSING!) This is the kind of review I almost don't want to write because I don't want others to find out how…read moreawesome Laurel Oak is. But, alas, I cannot be that greedy. And this place deserves the praise! We'd previously taken our dog to one of the many other boarding facilities in this area and always been disappointed in the fact that (1) he wouldn't get any exercise because he's not the kind of dog to play with other dogs, he's the kind of dog who wants to walk with humans and (2) he'd always come home smelling HORRIBLE, even if the other boarding places had claimed to have bathed him. Then we found Laurel Oak, and we haven't looked back! We love that our pup gets two walks a day here, plus hours and hours of supervised play time. We love the Facebook posts showing that he's doing okay and "making friends". ;) And we love that when they say he is getting a bath, we can actually tell that he got a bath! This place is not really convenient to our home at all, but we keep going there again and again because we are so happy with the service and attention our dog gets. That alone is a testament to how great this place is.

I had an appointment to bring in my dog to be evaluated for a daycare spot, but before I brought…read moreher in, I spoke with the general manager on the phone to ask about the other Yelp review that stated they use electronic bark collars. She said they no longer use them after they had an incident regarding one, but they allow owners to bring their dogs in already wearing them. I asked about the wording of the waiver owners are required to sign, specifically asking if it had been revised so that it no longer required owners to legally consent to allowing the company to put bark collars on their dogs. She was evasive, stating she hadn't looked at the contract lately, wasn't sure if it had been revised, it was not going to be revised for the next few weeks at least, etc. I said, "Well, if you're not going to put bark collars on the dogs, then there is absolutely no reason why the company would need to keep that part in the contract, right?" She had no answer for that, other than saying "It's for owners who bring their dogs in with the bark collar already on, but we do not provide them." I said, "Well, how is it worded? Does it talk about the owner providing the bark collar, or does it require the owner to give consent for the company to put a bark collar on? Those are two very different things." She could not - or would not - answer that question. I asked her to get a copy of the contract, look at it, and read me the relevant part so we could just get clear on what the waiver actually stated. She said it was available online, but only after I signed up and signed in as a client and gave them all my information. I said, "You can't take 2 minutes to just read me the relevant part without making me go through all that?" She could not. She was busy; she had better things to do than provide minimal customer service on an important issue. Clearly, she had something to hide. My guess is that at this time the contract has not been revised and it still requires owners to legally consent to the company putting bark collars on their dogs. I'm not okay with that. I canceled my appointment. They didn't want my business enough to bother answering a simple yet important question, and I don't want to give my business to a company who requires owners to legally consent to authorizing the company to do what I view as torturing dogs, and tries to hide what they're doing. If you want humane, compassionate care for your furbaby with an above-board, honest and trustworthy company, look elsewhere. There are lots of better options.

If the rating is for whether they came and changed the food and water every day, then they get a 5…read more However, if the rating is based on the amount of stress and distress imposed on me as the cat owner, it's a zero. When I interviewed them, they said they would do what was on the list and then sit quietly for 30 minutes and read a book. I suggested they could turn the TV on and they literally said no they did not want to disturb the cats, and sitting quietly would be best for the cats. I got anything but! The person that came completely disrupted the household. First, I had a 6 foot screen that sectioned off a part of the house that I did not want them going through - she literally moved the screen to walk throughout that part of the house!! That was an immediate violation of privacy. Next, she took it upon herself to move my garbage pail out for garbage day. I never asked her to do this, because I can get fined by the HOA for having the pails out overnight. Plus, I did not want her walking through the garage either! Again, another area of the house that should have been kept private. She also went out the back door to put feed in the birdfeeder. This was something she did ask about in the chat, and I was with friends and on reflex I said yes. I immediately regretted saying yes as I realized the cats would be disturbed and also might get out. Honestly, I didn't need that conversation when I was on vacation. Birds are wild and should be fine. It was just way too much. When I returned home, I saw that she moved all of the cat toys to make decorations. Cats are very sensitive to smell. I had a very simple list: change the water, food, and add one cup of litter to the litter robot. Otherwise, I liked their approach to sit quietly to see whether my shy cats might come out. Moving around the house, opening all the doors, had to be disruptive for the cats. I also was extremely worried that one of my cats might slip out the door. She also changed the litter in the litter robot drawer. Again, this was not on her list to do. Now I had to worry about whether she put it back together again correctly, Ironically, she sent me a picture of the litter box, and I noticed that the sand was considerably below the fill line. When I asked about it, she said that she forgot to add litter that day.‍‍ In the end, instead of just coming in the front door and leaving by the front door, she roamed around the entire house, and went through every entry in the house. I was stressed and distressed as to whether things were properly locked, whether a cat would slip out from one or the doors, and I hated the fact that from my cats' perspective, she was everywhere. Finally, they take your key and make a copy of it and keep it. I am so extremely not comfortable with this. Yes, they told me at the interview, but I didn't realize how much it distressed me. So I had to spend the money to get my locks changed. When I provided her this feedback, she said that clients liked that she took initiative and shut down my account. So this review is written for those people that would prefer to have a cat sitter come and just be there for 30 minutes to reassure your cats they are not alone. That's what they told me they would do. If you like somebody to roam around and act on their own initiative in your home, then the service is perfect. I also want to emphasize that nothing was taken and they did an excellent job in posting pictures on the app. For me, it was just that the initiative was way too much.

I trust them implicitly with my 2 dogs. My dogs absolutely love them and their kids and all the other daycare dogs and boarders. Adam and Ashley are very observant of my dogs interactions with other dogs and the entire operation is very well managed. Very dependable, great communication, great people. I love the pictures they send out daily through the Paw Partner app. Lots of fun pictures showing all the personalities and very cute moments of the day. They use Paw Partner as their app for reservations, business, vaccination status, communications, etc. and it's pretty decent. Because I have 2 dogs, cost is a big deal for me. The daycare and boarding are priced right and they even do dog washes/grooming for a decent price as well. Plus I don't have to make a grooming appointment in advance for one of my days off as my dogs are already there!! I highly and 100% recommend this business. This review is long overdue.
