My first visit was pretty good. I hit a hiccup with vaccines because the place where my pup received his bordetella didn't put in writing when it expired. And because it can be either six or twelve months I called and was on hold for a bit. Tiffany was great about it She was able to clear things up, give me a tour, explain how the facility operated and get my little fella settled. When I left I was able to see my little guy from their cameras. One thing I liked about Pet Paradise is their kennel sizes. The are oversized and have plenty of room to roam around when not in the play area. Actually two separate areas with one where they can see their neighbors and the opposite side where they can have privacy with a place to lay down, get water and just relax. When I came back to pick him up I learned he did pass the temperament test. Buy when I asked how he did Rachel informed me she did not know. I was told I would be getting one more free day because I should have had a folder to take with me telling me about his day. The folder was missing. So I will return and with such a great experience I can see checking them out again. read more

I decided to go with pet Paradise to board my pug during a vacation because it was near the airport and they had cameras. They offered one free night for all new customers, which was great special to offer...Tyrone ( my dog) stayed for 4 days. Booking the reservation was pretty easy, as I was able to upload all of Tyrone's necessary documentation prior to drop off so that I wouldn't have to do all that paperwork day of drop off. Drop off was fairly smooth, but I will say that if you don't ask questions, they will not give you any information about the whole process of how it would be during your dog stay with them, so so I feel the staff wasn't very informational and their approach to greet new guest that have never been to the facility and how things work there; to that point, I noticed after day, one that Tyrone was never really out of his "suite" and realized after calling that boarded dogs only get 30 minutes twice a day of playtime. Unfortunately, that was not explained to me during drop off so I had to add daycare playtime for an additional $22 a day. And after two days, I noticed that he still wasn't out playing which required me to call again and I guess there was a miscommunication and I was offered a refund because Tyrone was not part of that daycare schedule. I was happy with a refund, but I would prefer my dog to have been able to be outside of his suite, which is what he is used to. I will say they need to explain that better with all new customers and first time dog visitors. Other than that the facility was clean the staff was nice but as I mentioned previously, I would prefer that the staff was more informative about everything that goes on step-by-step for rather it be daycare or overnight boarding. read more

I have been bringing my pets here for over 10 years with no issues. I boarded them over the Christmas holiday and they came home injured, filthy, smelling awful and visibly traumatized. No one called before I picked them up to tell me they were hurt and I never heard from a manager after I reported the injuries to an employee over the phone. One of my dogs is still not able to run and is having trouble with stairs. Both of which were not an issue prior to their stay at this location. I witnessed another owner complain about the smell and reduced weight of her dog upon pick up. Needless to say, I will never board them here again. My dogs are seniors and I can't risk their health in the care of a place so careless. read more

We used Pet Paradise because our normal sitter was not available. We knew our pups would only go out two times a day and were a bit concerned. We dropped them off and hoped for the best as we didn't have many options. We checked the camera and eventually found our pups. They seemed happy. We called and asked if they could give me a updates on how the pups were doing and they said it was an extra fee to get a report card every day. If we wanted them to go out more than the two times, it's an extra fee. When we picked them up we were very relieved to see they were fine. In a pinch, we would use them again. However, we feel they should let pet parents know how the pups are adjusting just for peace of mind without extra fees. They do exactly what's necessary to keep the pups well but as a pup parent I would like more for the price. read more

If you love your dog then please do not use these people. My puppy was bitten by an Alaskan Malamute on Easter Sunday at 2 pm. No one contacted me until 735 pm that night and they told me that she was at the vet in surgery. I paid extra so that my puppy would be out of harms way from other dogs and I have given these people thousands of dollars over the past two years. Even novice owners know that Alaskan Malamutes are dog aggressive and should not be around any puppies. They were totally negligent. They were unapologetic and told me that I could not bring my puppy back because I got upset. These people are a bunch of losers who are only interested in taking your money. You can not reach anyone unless you are making a reservation. if you value your pet stay clear of Pet Paradise. I am going to hire a lawyer. read more

I took my two dogs there yesterday. I had not been in a few years, not because of a bad experience just found one very close to home. Yesterday was a complete disaster! I had an 8:00 appointment for my Biewer Terrier and Yorkie Pom. Both have long hair and around 6 lbs. They both are well maintained, combed and brushed daily. I arrived at 7:55 with both dogs. One was checked in at 8:20, the other not until 9:24. I spoke to the groomer around 11 AM to clarify the style of trim. I was told she would text me when done. At 3:15 I called they were still not ready. At that point it was 7 hours. I told them I would be there at 4. I arrived. Still neither were ready. The groomer came out and said they weren't ready. I asked why. The reply was she had a lot of dogs to do. They were the first appointment. I asked for a supervisor and she said she would check and return and just walked past me to dog cages. She came back still not looking at me, and I asked her what was going on and she said they're not ready she has a lot of dogs. By then it's 8 hours. I asked for an explanation as to why it has taken 8 hours. I understand a busy schedule but it should be done by appointment time. She said it would be at least 30 minutes.At 4:30 they brought out one dog. I asked how long for my other dog. Another young woman also with an attitude asked if I just wanted to pay and take the other dog as is. I told her I have no idea what he had done. I asked for the number for the corporate office and the name of the manager. She left and told the supervisor. The supervisor returned with a piece of paper with the name of the grooming supervisor and said they don't have the number for corporate. Meanwhile a man comes in to pick up his dog. I asked him what time his appointment was and he said 9:30 and received a text the dog was ready. Another woman came to pick up her dog. Another man came in at 5 and said he had a 10:00 appointment. He hadn't received a call either but felt it was too long. At 5:15 the manager said I'm just going to bring you your dog. I asked was he done and she said No! Previously she said 30 minutes. She said I'm not going to check him in and just give him as is. I asked her had he been bathed she said yes, I asked trimmed she said NO! I asked after 9 hours why was my dog not finished? She said she talked to the groomer and talked to me and heard both sides. I asked " what sides, it's now been 9 hours?" She said "I told you what I'm going to do!" She gave me a damp dog after 9 hours at the location. My dogs got home dying of thirst and almost finished the water bowl. I had to comb out my dog not finished. Not one apology, nothing!! Poor customer service, poor scheduling. The supervisor was nasty and does not have any customer service experience. They are poor in scheduling. Horrible to be so inconsiderate with customers time. DO NOT SEND YOUR PET HERE! This is the worst Pet Paradise in the country. It should be called Pet Prison. It is a black eye on the entire company. My experience (with Pet Paradise) has always been great and we have used multiple locations. Most are warm, inviting and pet friendly. Not this one. It looks like a prison. If I was not due on a flight that day, I would have never let my pet stay here. To make a bad situation worse. When I picked up my golden, she smelled awful despite an exit bath. She was lethargic and smelled terrible. Much different than other locations. Since she had been home she has been vomiting and has had diarrhea for days now. I should have become suspicious when they texted me that they ran out of dry dog food then insisted on an exit bath. I cannot be more adamant with this warning. Do not send your dog here. If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. I dropped my dog Remy off at this facility for boarding over Christmas so that I could fly home and spend the holiday with my family. The first day after I dropped him off, I got a call that he had been attacked by another dog during group play. They called ASKING if he should be seen by a vet for MULTIPLE puncture wounds. If a dog needs veterinary care while under their watch, especially puncture wounds, there should be no question that the animals health take top priority, and be taken to the emergency vet if needed. My dog ended up needing multiple sutures and a drain placed in his ear. I had to switch my flight last minute and flew back to Atlanta to pick him up on Christmas Eve morning, missing Christmas with my family. When I picked Remy up, he was in AWFUL shape. The drain in his ear was not being cleaned as instructed, he was in a cone so the fluid buildup from his ear was draining and catching in the cone, open for infection to form. They charged me full price for both nights they kept him, so l was paying for their negligence while my dog got attacked. When I took Remy outside to get in the car, he peed all over the place as if he hadn't been let out since I dropped him off. Bottom line is, he was injured and neglected by Pet Paradise. I understand places are over capacity and understaffed, but if they can't handle the dogs they are boarding or staff appropriately, they shouldn't have such large groups out together. My primary vet called Pet Paradise and they would give no information on rabies registration for the dog that attacked Remy. I was told by one manager when I picked him up that the other dog would not be allowed back, and then days later I was told the other dog was actually allowed back and he just got a "note on his profile". This place will not prioritize the safety of your pet. They are worried about their profits, I paid over $50 a night, changed flights, etc. for them to not take an ounce of care of my dog. This was not my first experience boarding my dog. I am well aware of the kind of care animals can get, and this place isn't worth the money they charge, or potentially risking your animal's life. read more

I had an unbelievable experience at this location! I booked boarding for our two dogs, one is a happy go lucky husky mix, the other is a mutt who has had a traumatic life and is a bit aggressive/anxious, but warms up to people after a few hours. He has been successfully boarded about 12 times where we used to live. Over the phone I told both people from the corporate answering service and the location site this and asked if he needed to be brought in for a temp test. I explained that we are catching a flight right after we drop off the dogs so we won't be able to take them back or pick them up last minute if anything happens, so if they have any worries, we can do a temp test. The multiple people I spoke with on the phone said that it was fine, they didn't need a temp test because the anxious dog wasn't going to play with the other dogs. I asked them if he needed a temp test for the staff, they said no, they'd do that the first day we dropped them off. We went to drop them off on our way to the airport. Within the first 30 seconds of meeting our anxious/aggressive dog, the staff member said they needed to put a name tag around his neck. He wasn't aggressive, just showing his teeth a bit, growling, and backing away. The staff member, who had an anxious vibe to her, said they needed to be able to interact with him in order to board him, after like 30 seconds...so she turned us away. WE MISSED OUR FLIGHT! There were other dogs with "aggressive" under their paperwork, why wasn't there any under our dog's? If you know you may turn a dog away, then require a temp test, especially if you market you are right by the airport so you know people are catching a flight. We were so frustrated! I am a travel nurse and my dog LOVES going to day cares. We have been to multiple facilities across the states and never had issues, however, I'm not for sure how I feel about this place. Pros: super close to the airport so easy to drop off and pick up. Staff was super friendly. Prices are reasonable. Cons: I dropped my dog off for his first day at daycare. I checked the cameras all day for him and never saw him once on the camera out with the other dogs or even in a kennel. So not for sure what was going on there and it made me feel really upset. When I picked him up he basically pulled me to the car and ran out of that place and was crying in my car the whole ride home. His collar and leash were both soaking wet (I know they have a doggy pool) and he smelt of urine. No one said one word to me about how he did even though this was supposed to be their trial day to see how he plays with others. Just an overall weird situation. probably won't be returning just how my dog acted when i picked him up! read more

I was recommended Pet Paradise by an ATL native and pet-parent when I first moved here. My cat has stayed at Pet Paradise multiple times and comes home without any significant changes to her behavior or her body. The staff enjoys her and she seems to enjoy them as well. Just FYI she's a really chill cat, so I imagine she is much easier to handle than an energetic cat. I still recommend Pet Paradise just to see how it goes. You can bring your pet's toys, treats, and food if you like. If they need any accommodations just let the staff know. The camp creek location is right by the airport, so it is very convenient for travelers. I usually book for boarding online and I haven't had issues. When I tried to book a cat grooming service, I was told that they don't groom cats at this location. It's safe to ask again though; maybe things have changed. read more

My dogs have been going to this location since I first got them, initially for just doggie day care and then for multi-night boarding. That's over 2 years for the oldest and the youngest has been there twice in the last 3 months. I always pay extra for them to be kept in a private suite together away from the other dogs. Usually I also pay for them to receive baths prior to pickup so that they are fresh and clean. This time I did not do that because I wanted to see what kind of condition they were kept in during their stay. At pickup, my Frenchie looked pretty normal as far as his appearance goes but my Yorkie looked like a stray dog and was given to me wet. The person discharging them told me that they'd just mopped the floor and he'd gotten on the wet floor. The guy was carrying my dog so I'm not quite sure how or why he would've been the only one of the two dogs that would've been wet from the same floor. I call BS. While I was called almost every single day of my vacation the last time they were there a few months ago to ask about their meds, feeding schedules, to tell me that one of the dogs had thrown up etc, this time I only received calls asking if I wanted to pay for baths for them. They called me twice to ask that which raised my concern level about their condition. Not long after we left the facility to come home, my Yorkie threw up and pooped in the car. He had diarrhea. The lady that just called me after I gave them a negative feedback report told me that they policy is to call a parent when they see that their dog has diarrhea so as to understand why and to offer for them to take the dog to the vet, etc. I received no such call. She said that it's not uncommon for dogs to develop such conditions AFTER they leave for reasons unrelated to their facility. No way in hell my dog suddenly developed the bacterial infection from whip worms that their vets confirmed that they had and treated them for, as soon as they got in the car. They told me that those worm infections usually come from dogs that have been contaminated in places like doggie day care/boarding facilities, rest stops, apartment complexes, etc from exposure to infected poop where several other dogs have used the bathroom. Diarrhea by itself for my dogs is not uncommon if they've eaten the other's food or something else that they weren't supposed to or when I change their food which I don't since my Frenchie has a ton of allergies and is on a very special diet and meds. I treated them for the diarrhea like I usually do and my Yorkie responded to the treatment after a few days but my Frenchie just got worse. It got to the point where he was pooping out nothing but blood so I took him to the ER when I noticed it and smelt the difference in the scent. I thought my dog was going to die considering the volume of bloody stool in his crate and seeing him squirt out so much when I let him out in the backyard. He had to be placed on antibiotics and given more probiotics. They also both were given 3-day doses of a medication to treat for whip worms. I notified Pet Paradise of this when I did their customer satisfaction survey and they called just now to followup. All I heard were excuses and it was confirmed that when they see that other dogs have diarrhea, it's not enough to separate them from the play group even if they don't know the cause of the diarrhea. She also confirmed that they don't do anything more than mop after they clean up the poop in the dogs' rooms/kennels but don't sanitize or deep clean after cleaning up diarrhea. As such, there is extremely high risk for dogs to get infected with just about anything there and that's just ridiculous! She literally pissed me off on that call because had I known what they were exposing my dogs to and the conditions they were keeping them in, they would've never been registered there, let alone left there. The "solution" she offered me was to update their file for me to pay even more for 1-on-1 play instead of group play when they board. No accountability or remorse for what we've had to endure because of them since my dogs' 3-day stay. I paid significantly more and drove further for them to stay at this place because I thought I was getting a higher quality experience and care for my dogs than if they'd stayed at a regular kennel that would just keep them in a crate and let them out to use the bathroom a couple times each day. Based on what happened, they probably would've been safer that way. To say that I'm extremely disappointed in Pet Paradise Atlanta and how they handle dogs and how they dealt with this situation, would be a major understatement. read more

Classic case of what I asked for vs. what I got. I thought I was being pranked. There's no way this happened in real life. This review is in response to the grooming only. I've never boarded my pup here. I specifically requested to speak with the groomer. I showed her the pictures of his last hair cut, pictured below, and she agreed to do a summer cut, & lightly trim down his face. Whereas, the groomer was sweet and polite I would have been happier if she just came out and said, "I'm not comfortable doing this type of cut", but instead seemed confident and I trusted it. We just moved to Camp Creek from Houston. My dog has a bichon cut with round face. It took my former groomer about a year to get his face and body shaped like a show dog. However, Pet paradise managed to ruin over a year worth of grooming and hard work to maintain the look in one visit. I'm furious, my dog looks hideous. They were polite enough to reimburse me $65 for the groom but this cut is irreversible. I'm not happy and I'll NEVER recommend their grooming service. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I'll start with the pros. Its such a convenient location. They are right next to park and fly plus, so if you are traveling from ATL, it makes everything easy. Some of the staff members are really great and clearly care about the pups. Cons: There is so much turnover with employees. Some of them are good and some don't seem to care. My dogs experience seems to depend on who's working. One stay my dog came home with a huge hot spot, she was refusing to eat, and she threw up multiple times for three days. Actually she often comes home from pet paradise with new hotspots. And my dog does not typically have those. You can only see your dog during play time, unless you get a vip suite. I watch when I can. I have had to call because my chihuahua was being chased and mounted by a German shepherd repeatedly, and the staff ignored it. Imagine watching your dog run and hide under the staff members legs and them just walking away for 2 hour-long playtimes. This was addressed the next day. I don't even know why a chihuahua and a German shepherd were in the same play group. Also they advertise 24/7 drop off but you have to pay an extra full day even if you pick up after closing time. I had to pay an additional $47 after picking my dog up 30 minutes after closing time. Even though all the staff was still present at the front desk. Early pick up is just $10, while pick up after 12 noon is an additional $20 charge. They charge an additional $5 per day for summer stays. I will probably still come here if I don't have other options, but I do not think the experience is worth the price. Also there have been times that they sent food home with her when I gave them the exact amount of food for the stay. There have also been times when they didn't not give back food when I gave them extra. So I'm not sure about consistency of feeding. I have never gotten notified that she didn't eat her food. I also noticed the staff have their favorite pups that they hold and pet all day, while the others get no attention during play time. read more

When I picked him up yesterday the bottom half of his body was stained with urine and feces. Then when I saw the bill there were additional services that were applied for grooming, nail clipping, etc and I just asked for a bath. There was also additional summer rates and it's still spring so I am really confused when it's May 24 and summer begins June 20th. I really hope that things can get corrected. read more

Thor has been going to daycares since he was 6 months old, just to socialize him some. We moved to a new area and this location came up. I went without my puppy to tour the facility and I was really impressed. The only downside was because he isn't fixed, he wouldn't get to play with the other dogs. I gave it a try anyway because he needed a bath. He loves playing in water and I figured he might try the pool out once he saw it. The picture is him upon arriving. I treat him as if I personally birthed him lol. I am also a very anal individual in general. This facility far exceeds my expectations. I've been bringing my pup here for about 7 months and he just loves it! When I say "we're going to day care" he absolutely loses it, in a good way. The staff is so amazing and attentive with him. I truly feel that they care about my pup almost as much as I do. My husband and I have recently moved an hour away one way, but I still choose to only bring my little Pedro here, despite the distance. I LOVE this place. It's the only place I board my 130lb Cane Corso. He loves it there too. They take such amazing care of him. He comes back home spoiled rotten every time! They are attentive, loving and my dog gets plenty of exercise while here. I've boarded as long as 20 days here and though I was nervous, my dog had a blast! They also do well with dogs that don't play well with other dogs, which is my dog. They do offer cameras through an app where you can see your pet play. But with the new pet areas in the back that don't have cameras I can't see him in the app. Hope they get that fixed soon. read more

It's my first time allowing any of my dogs to stay at this resort. Apollo, my 4 month old doberman, went and had the best time ever. He played and played and played non stop. This is great so he will be nice and tired and take a nap when we get home. Looks like the puppies there were really having a great time and had fun just romping around and interacting with each other. I appreciate the doggie report given to us upon picking him up. I'm not suprised that he really enjoyed the chaperones!!! He will be back next time we travel!! read more

His coat looked horrible. After requesting an explanation all we got was "he must have played a lot," and "we checked the food logs, and he was fed." Really, then how did he lose so much weight. I posted photos. Never once, from the front desk to the highest regional management did anyone even once utter the words "I'm sorry for the experience you had," or any type of apology. I bought my toy poodle here to be groomed. She had some matting on top, not on her belly because I shaved her myself. Upon picking up my dog, she had a gash on her belly. The groomer said she was "severely matted" which was a complete lie. These people don't know what they are doing and to make it even worse, they still charged me full price. I've taken my dog to many other places and no groomer has ever cut her, let alone give her a huge gash. I spoke to the manager Asia & nothing was resolved. My poor dog probably has PTSD after this visit. Don't bring your beloved pets here. All they care about is money. I wish I got the groomers name but after calling and trying to find out, they refused to give it to me. This is a ghetto establishment and they have no remorse for hurting animals. They told me that there was nothing that could be done and now I have to deal with the infection my dog has gotten from this place. read more

Very frustrated with the service at Pet Paradise Atlanta. My grooming appointments are continued to be cancelled because there's no groomer when I arrive. Every time I book grooming online and I get to the facility, the appointment gets cancelled because no one is available. So frustrating and inconvenient. We drove in from Jax way to early for check-in so we called Pet's Paradise Resort to help us out with our two weenies! The location sits just few minutes from the Airport which was very conveniently located by our hotel. The staff welcomed us they new right away Forrest and Winnie were walking in struting their slinky bodies by there voices of course.. This place is awesome I recommend it to anybody stopping by. Dropped my dog off yesterday for Day Camp & Grooming. I loved the grooming service my dog received! Unfortunately was disappointed with the day camp experience. I took use of the webcams pet paradise uses and logged in several times throughout the day and just saw dogs in behind cages. When I went to pick up my dog, I asked if my dog got to play with any dogs / and if they had any playtime today with the dogs and the associates answer was "I'm not sure" which leads me to believe that my dog didn't get to have the experience I thought she would. read more

My husband and I have been using pet paradise for about a year as our pup truly enjoyed it here. Regretfully we now have to find somewhere else to go based on the actions of the people here. We left our two pups here while I went on a week long work trip. The first issue that occurred happened 5 days into their stay. The dogs were dropped off on a Sunday... on Friday I received a call advising that they were worried because the dogs weren't eating their food. So it took you all that long to notice that they weren't eating? They are grazers so no they aren't going to eat an entire bowl of food in one sitting. This has been explained and is noted on their profiles!!! When we came back to pick up our babies, we had the opportunity to chat with another pet parent in the lobby. During our discussion out about pups, I was advised that one of our dogs were banned from play group due to him becoming "aggressive" towards a group of dogs subsequent to them being aggressive with our other dog. It was confirmed that he did not physically attack the other dogs he just "freaked them out". So he's penalized for protecting his sister???? This made absolutely no sense to my husband or I. We also got our dogs back with matted hair which we've had to cut. It is so disappointing to have to find another place to take our pups due to the decline in service at this place. read more

My beagle stayed at the Atlanta Airport Camp Creek Location from May 25, 2022 til May 29. He has allergies so when he sounded like he was gagging and coughing I dismissed it as that. But it got worse and when I took him to his vet he was diagnosed with KENNEL COUGH. I know things can happen, no matter how good our intentions may be. But I have called the location twice and left messages and I called the corporate office. I have YET to receive a callback. The saddest part of all of this is that Pet Paradise is about that almighty dollar. I learned that they would need to shut down that facility for two weeks for thorough cleaning if a pet has been there with kennel cough. NOT responding to me tells me that they are well aware and my little doggie was definitely NOT the only one but they are trying to keep this situation under wraps. Every pet owner who had a dog there before during or after that time frame needs to be advised. read more

Always have good service via phone & pick up. Pacino my 140lb cane corso seems to love it here. He gets excited when we come. They can be a little pricey, but I wouldnt send him anywhere else. read more
