I got belly rubs on demand, endless attention, playtime with new friends, and enough treats to make me question whether I should permanently relocate. Every time I walked in, the humans here knew my name and acted excited to see me -- which, as you can imagine, is exactly the level of celebrity treatment I deserve. The place was super clean, safe, and smelled surprisingly good for a building full of dogs making questionable life choices. My parents also loved getting updates and photos of me living my best life while they were away pretending to miss me. (Jasmine, Christina, Ericy, Iliana takes the best selfies of me!) By the time I got home, I was completely exhausted from all the fun, zoomies, and pampering from the staff. 10 out of 10 I would definitely board again and cannot wait until my next visit! Sincerely, Zorro

This place needs to be investigated for animal welfare practices. Never have I ever heard so many people talk about how much they love dogs only for their actions to show differently. AVOID ALL WAG HOTELS AS IM SURE THIS IS THEIR COMMON PRACTICE.

My Italian Greyhound has always struggled with confidence, but he found a second home at Sitting Pretty. Since he started going, I've watched his confidence grow so much, and he has the best time every single visit. The staff is wonderful. All of the girls are incredibly sweet, genuine, and truly compassionate toward the dogs in their care. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable and is always willing to answer questions, offer advice, and share her expertise. The facility is always clean and well kept, with plenty of play equipment and multiple bowls of fresh water available. One of my favorite things about Sitting Pretty is how much outdoor time the dogs get. They have a beautiful turf area where they can run, play ball, and socialize. I'm so grateful we found this hidden gem and a place where I genuinely feel comfortable leaving my dog. Seeing how excited he is to go and how happy he is when I pick him up says everything. We look forward to bringing him here for years to come. HIGHLY recommend!

I've been coming here for awhile, and sadly it's time to find another boarder…read more The prices go up, the services become less, and my confidence has vanished. When I first came here, it was $45/day and a complimentary bath if the dog stayed there for more than five days. It's now very difficult to get a response when inquiring about availability. And, it appears the neighborhood is changing, and not for the better. In the past, the neighbors would shoot off fireworks on the weekends immediately before, during, and after July 4th. Now, it seems to be a regular occurrence. Many dogs cower with fireworks, and my Black Lab is no exception. I was supposed to pick up my dog tomorrow morning. Fortuitously, I came back a day earlier because my luggage was stolen. So, when I called about when to pick up my dog tomorrow, I was told about my dog's experience with the fireworks. I ended up having to pick him up this evening. Traveling these days is especially stressful, and I don't need the additional stress of worrying about a beloved pet. I never did before when I boarded my dog here, but I have over the last 3 times. I had been too busy to research another venue. But, now, I'm proactively going to find another establishment. In short, now, you can expect delayed responses on inquiries, multiple expectations on when YOU can show up to drop off or pick up your dog, and a equivocation on what they will and will not provide. On the other hand, bills for service-- although often error-probed-- are delivered with stunning alacrity. It pains me to write this review. Nevertheless, I have seen a huge decline in the service that precipitated 2-3 years ago while the prices continued to rise. (To wit, look at reviews that have been 5-9 years ago, and those within the past 3 years. Something has changed.) The constant firework explosions in the neighborhood only add to further disappointment. Alas, as George Harrison once sang, "all things must pass."

My dog is 12 pounds, always one of the tiniest dogs there, and generally wary of bigger dogs. Today I took him for his second time in 2-3 years, which the staff were aware of. I brought him early around 9:20am, at the suggestion of the staff from his first visit last week, so he could acclimate before more dogs came. As soon as I dropped him off I was monitoring the webcams because my dog was very nervous at drop off. At 10:30am I noticed another dog, bigger than mine, starting to follow him around and trying to mount him. My dog was trying everything to run away but the other dog would relentlessly follow him and mount him over and over and over again. None of the staff separated them, multiple times I saw my dog in the smaller room by himself, and the other dog would immediately follow and mount him over and over again. No staff in sight to control this behavior. After calling the front desk, they said that they like to encourage dogs to snap back when this behavior happens to deter the other dog. But this was only my dog's second time back in years, he's the smallest dog there, and they knew he was very nervous. He's generally a submissive dog as well so he was never going to snap back, and he shouldn't have had to. Even if my dog wasn't afraid of snapping back, this practice is a huge red flag and could've turned aggressive. The only remedy they offered was to remove my dog from the daycare, not the other dog that was stalking and mounting mine repeatedly. This behavior also went on for over an hour. After looking at the webcams again and seeing this dog aggressively mounting my dog to the point where my dog couldn't even escape, I called the daycare back asking them to remove my dog and hold him so I could immediately come pick him up. At pickup, they shared that they noticed this behavior happening earlier when there was a shift change. This dog was also apparently still a puppy and not fixed. Despite these observations, they did not keep an eye on that dog as they should have and instead allowed my dog to be targeted for over an hour until I picked him up around 11:40am. My dog will absolutely not be going back.

5 STARS FOR OUR AMAZING TRAINER JOSH…read more 1 STAR FOR CORPORATE LEAVING US WITH ABRUPT ANNOUNCEMENT OF CANCELLED TRAINING SESSIONS. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Josh as Daisy's trainer, and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Josh was not just a dog trainer to us--he became someone we trusted, someone who understood our family, and someone who genuinely cared about Daisy and her success. From our very first session, Josh took the time to truly understand Daisy. He learned her personality, her behaviors, her challenges, and our family's concerns. He never judged us or made us feel like Daisy was a "bad dog." Instead, he was patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He made us feel like we were finally on the right path. Having Josh come to our home made such a huge difference. He was able to work with Daisy in the environment where she actually lives and help us learn how to handle situations as a family. He didn't just train Daisy he trained and educated us as her family too. He always listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and made sure we understood what we could do at home to continue helping her. After only FOUR sessions with Josh, we saw an incredible difference in Daisy. She learned so much in such a short amount of time. Most importantly, she was finally able to coexist with our 3-year-old child and 7-year-old child in a way that we had struggled to achieve before. Now our children love Daisy, they play with her, and we are able to see them building a bond with her. Watching that transformation has meant so much to our family. Josh cared about Daisy like she was more than just another dog he was assigned to train. He genuinely celebrated her progress, understood when she was struggling, and always treated her with patience and kindness. You could tell that he truly cared about both Daisy and our family. We felt comfortable with him, we trusted him, and Daisy trusted him--and that trust is incredibly important when working with a rescue dog. Unfortunately, after our fourth session, we were informed that the company had decided to cut their Dog training program and that Josh would no longer be able to continue training Daisy. We were honestly extremely upset and disappointed. I feel that the company should have allowed us to complete the remaining six sessions of Daisy's training with Josh. We had finally found someone who was willing to understand Daisy, work with her, and help our family. It took a lot for us to get to this point, and stopping her training halfway through felt incredibly discouraging, leaving us out of the dark and what we were going to do next. By that point, we had built a relationship with Josh, and Daisy had built a relationship with him as well. Starting over with someone new after finally finding someone we trusted was very difficult for us. We wish the company had taken that relationship and Daisy's specific circumstances into consideration before making the decision to stop her training with Josh. The most frustrating part is that we were finally seeing the results we had been hoping and working so hard for. Daisy was learning. Our children were becoming comfortable with her. Our family was learning how to better communicate with and understand her. And Josh had become an important part of that progress. Although Daisy's training with Josh has unfortunately stopped, we are incredibly grateful for everything he accomplished with her in just four sessions. He gave Daisy a chance to succeed, and he gave our family confidence that we could help her become the happy, well-adjusted dog we knew she could be. Josh is truly an amazing trainer and an incredible person. His patience, compassion, knowledge, and genuine care for the animals and families he works with are very special. We just wish Doggieland had allowed us to complete the remaining six sessions with Josh. After everything our family and Daisy had been through, we finally found someone who understood her and helped her thrive. Four sessions made such a tremendous difference in our family's life, and we can only imagine how much more progress Daisy could have made if she had been able to finish the full program with Josh. Thank you, Josh, for everything you have done for Daisy and for our family. We will always be grateful that you were the person who helped us see just how much potential our Daisy had.
