    My DAKOTA.
    Naomi A.

There are no words to be ready to lose a family pet . Erika was nice enough for me to text as I couldn't speak to ask them for help for my fur baby Dakota . Dr . Soliman and Erika came by our house explaining everything that was going to happen. They were both respectful and allowed us to grieve as our baby left her body . We got her cremated and for Erika to go above and beyond for us to deliver her to us . (At the ER hospital as life doesn't stop) I was so happy that she(DAKOTA) can be here for mom when she's in hospital) Just want to thank you both again . I recommend them to anyone having to make the hard decision on letting go of a pet .

The Dr. and Erica came to our home to aid our dear pet, And loyal loving family member ( Savage ) on to be with the Lord.

The Dr.and Erica are a God send! Blessings for there in home service that stoped our GS (Savage )suffering and let him go on to the Lord!

Goodbye is not forever. We love you Coco. Thanks for being such a sweet girl.

We are so grateful for the compassion the doctor and Erika showed for our sweet Coco. They even helped us shave her paw so we could take an ink stamp paw print. They treated all of us, especially our sweet Coco with dignity and grace. Thank you both for helping our fur baby transition and allowing time for our other dogs to say good-bye.

Our Bella was a 15 year old Aussie when we made the decision to euthanize her at home. Dr Nicole communicated with us throughout the day as to her arrival time. She was so extremely kind and supportive. She explained to us how the process works and gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. This was the best possible outcome for an incredibly painful experience. It has been a month since Bella's death and I finally can write this without crying. Dr Nicole really helped us feel that we had made the right decision. Godspeed Bella and thank you so much for all your love over the many years.

Don was incredibly kind and empathetic. He was able to give me quotes and all the information I required. I'm thankful for the auto message function as I had difficulty responding. My husband made the actual call weeks later. Don again, was incredibly empathetic and kind as he walked us through the steps. On that day, Dr.Nicole came over and was amazing. I couldn't have imagined a gentler experience for my babies. She was so patient, gentle and kind. I'm so thankful, I don't think I have the words to describe the gratitude I feel. I was so scared about them having scary anxious feelings when it came time for euthanasia. But after a lot of excitement which Dr.Nicole was gracious about, my babies settled down and sat with us. I am grateful for the conversations we had. We were never rushed, or judged. She was so empathetic. It was such a devastatingly sad, surreal experience. Neal had started to deteriorate so rapidly this year. His sister Sara had started to not be able to hide how ill she felt. I don't think I would have ever been ready to let them go. As I look back at my pictures and videos it's easier to see that they were both ill. It was so easy to look past it when they were here. I'd compare them to the pictures and just add accommodations for their comfort. Because their smiles, the love in their eyes...the tail wags were still there, different, but there. It was so hard to admit it was time. All the anxiety that had been eating away at me for months washed away and was replaced with a bottomless sadness and relief that my babies were no longer suffering. They were two amazing small little dogs who left an unfathomable chasm in my heart. The after care was also above and beyond. I can't recommend them enough. If you are reading this and you think it is time, Serene Passages is the correct choice.

Review #36 for 2025…read more I came here after my regular vet told me it would be a week before I could get an ultrasound for my dog. I called a bunch of places and this was the place that could do it the next day as it was urgent that we got my furbaby an ultrasound to find out what was going on. I made an appointment and we came in the next day. Upon arriving, it is a decent size animal hospital. Parking is easy and they have separate sides for dogs and cats. They put us in a big room as we also had our baby and our furbaby is a pretty big boy. The vet saw us and was very through in explaining everything and seemed very knowledgeable. We left our dog to get the ultrasound done and came back when they were done. I had originally asked about pricing when I called... and was told an ultrasound on average cost $350, but ours ended up costing $700. We weren't too happy about the price changed, but they explained the added cost was due to having the ultrasound done STAT and a specialist to read it. Even with the sticker shock, it was still technically cheaper than our other vet who wanted to charge $700 also but it would not even be done for another week... and who knows, there may have been additional charges for specialist reads also. Anyways, the vet ended up calling us back pretty immediately as the news we got was not good. We found out that my dog has kidney cancer and prognosis was very poor. Dr. Ruiz was very compassionate and took his time showing us the ultrasound and explaining everything he saw. He told us the specialist would still read the ultrasound to confirm and he would call me and discuss the read from the specialist to me. They also emailed me all the results and to my regular vet also. We were not pushed to do things that had little value related to costs so they could make extra money. He was very supportive of whatever route we wanted to pursue. He gave us time to process and sent us home with some meds to help make my fur baby more comfortable. He also said if we needed more pain meds or noticed other symptoms, that all I needed to do was call and ask and they would help us. Anyways, my dog was okay for while after and he did not even have the pain meds for over a week and then he had a pain flare up and so I called my regular vet and they refused to give us pain meds for my dog stating that because of the cancer, he needed to go see a specialist, specifically an oncologist if I wanted pain meds! I thought that was absolutely ridiculous as we already knew our poor baby already has cancer (life expectancy 3-6 months) and we just want him to be comfortable!! We wanted him to be comfortable enough to get him and stand to simple go pee, drink water, eat... but they refused... we also knew that would hustle out of us probably another grand or 2 as specialist are NEVER cheap and that really upset me. I contacted Arrow Cat and Dog hospital and they were very accommodating and gave us the pain meds we needed for our poor baby right away! Now with the pain meds, he is able to move around and do his daily life functions like get up to go to the bathroom and eat. It was very uncompassionate of the other place to refuse us pain meds, even a small prescription to keep my baby comfortable in the mean time. Arrow cat and Dog called me back and the vet was super compassionate with my dogs pain issue and gave me options and listened. I will be going here from here on for my furbabys medical needs. They are compassionate and listened and were able to get things done right away and respected our wishes instead of forcing us to spends thousands more in our tough and emotional situation.

The Vets and staff have always been courteous and professional, and although they recommend various items, they do not pressure you to go with any specific treatments/products. Our puppy always seemed to be excited to see their technicians and vets, so to me, that's a good sign. Back of the house staff, including our attending vet (Dr. Wilson), was kind and easy to talk to. What lacks is the front of the house staff. They need more adequate training in the discharge and vet hospital protocols. They also are not the warmest people to talk to. Asked for a prescription fill on the phone and was told to upload the hard copies provided unto Chewy, but once I informed them it wasn't acceptable due to pharmacy regulations I was met with a dismissive tone and attitude. Not the kind of treatment you want when going to a facility to tend to your pets at their lowest times. The front staff member, Erica, insisted it was approved already. I asked if it was actually approved electronically and that's when she paused and went to check. Maybe check before answering so confidently? I even told them in the exam room that I would be sending the prescription request over to the office before leaving. She could have simply told me kindly she will let the doctor know as soon as she's free instead of rudely claiming how they are super busy and they'll get to it when they get to it. I would have had much more respect with that response. I'm a healthcare provider and would NEVER come off that dismissive to a patient of mine. Especially for such a simple matter. Unprofessional to say the least.
