The heartbreaking decision, particularly the not knowing for certain if it was truly the right time to bring my declining senior dog's life to a close, was met with wonderfully kind and patient understanding by Dr. Soliman and his equally compassionate vet tech which helped me tremendously in moving forward with releasing the okay to complete the unenviable tasks of both the end of life process as well as the after care, which they performed most carefully and professionally. I was present for the initial sedation but asked to be dismissed for the final procedure to which they were most empathetic in encouraging me to step outside with my other dog. Unexpectedly, but most appreciatively, after placing my departed dog on a stretcher and covering her, they had my other dog come in and be exposed to the new reality. It was something I was going to ask them to do anyway. My dog's reactions were quite amazing to behold, as he circled around the stretcher more than once, wagging his tail in acknowledgment. He walked away for a moment then returned again and then moved on after that point. I was also asked to assist in taking one end of the stretcher (in a way I felt like I was one of her pall bearers) out to their vehicle, which was most helpful to me in also experiencing a sense of closure. For such a difficult time, this was by far a much better option than taking her into a clinical environment, one that in her younger days was always most difficult for my dog to enter into because she was kind of an introverted homebody who became quite nervous in places she was unfamiliar with, e. g., periodic visits for rabies shots, etc. I can only offer my deepest thanks and highest recommendation for this unusual yet so very needed service run by truly sensitive, gentle, kindhearted and professional people. read more

Called to see if they were available for same day in home pet euthanasia, they were, I asked for pricing, they gave me a quote and unfortunately it was too expensive. I let whoever was on the phone know I wasn't able to afford it and she sharply and quickly said "ok have a good day" and hung up. Quite rude knowing I'm calling about horrible and sad circumstances, not just any regular services on a regular day. Glad I didn't go with them as it seems there was no respect on the other side of the phone, would have hated for them to be handling my sweet boy. We have used Dr. Soliman twice now. Once in 2020, and recently in 2026. Both times, he and Erika were wonderful. Very caring and compassionate. Allowed us to have as much time with our cats that we wanted prior to and after. Once they put them in their car to transport, they asked again if I wanted to see them one more time before they left, which I did to give another kiss. It was a simple process that they explained thoroughly. I did not feel rushed or pressured for payment, and they were very warmhearted in an incredibly difficult situation. I definitely recommend them, as we all want sincere people around us and handling our furbabies in these sad circumstances. This last time, when his ashes were ready, I did not want them mailed, so Erika agreed to meet us at a halfway point to pick them up from her. It was even her day off! My husband thought I was rude when I asked, "Is this definitely him?" (I just needed to hear it for sure), but Erika didn't take any offense and answered quickly and genuinely assuring me that they use a smaller, reputable company to ensure accuracy. I got confirmation of that was when I brought the box in the house and showed it to our dog, who sniffed it and then gave it kisses. Every once in a while, he does that and it warms my heart. I just wanna say that if you're checking reviews on places like these, I'm so sorry. I remember it hurt to even look up this service when I knew my dog had to be put to sleep soon. I do suggest looking up a bunch of places beforehand and maybe scheduling earlier than you think because it's better a little early than too late. I know it doesn't feel that way but it will when you see your dog in pain. Think of it as one of the last kind things you can do so they don't have to suffer. Take their pain and make it your own. It's true in the comments where they say the Dr. is warm and kind while the assistant is a bit cold and monotone. The Dr. is also a man of very few words though so who knows haha. It felt more like a transaction than a kind service to be able to give your beloved dog. I remember trying really hard to get my Zelle app to load on my phone while signing papers for them to pay before they injected my dog and how weird it felt in the moment. They did give me a lot of time to spend with my dog beforehand and after she passed. My dog was only like 45 lbs but I remember she peed after she died and the assistant seemed inconvenienced by it and did need help putting my dog on a stretcher thing when she passed. I didn't feel much compassion or understanding. The assistant did most of the talking. Any extra questions I had felt like an inconvenience. I wish the doctor talked more. My dog was 15 years old and was on her last stages of degenerative myelopathy. I was crushed. They were one of the few places that could do this every day of the week compared to other places I called so that was nice. I guess if you're okay with no one comforting you during the process then this is fine. They do their job. I'm glad I had my whole family and bf with me or I may have actually lost it. I cried when they left with my dog haha. I just felt so weird in the moment. I'm not sure if I would use this place again in the future. This is obviously better than being at the vet's. My dog was in her bed. I know it's kind of weird to want the people who are about to kill your dog to give you some sense that they care as well but... I did want that. I wanted to know they cared about my dog too. Also, they do give you a paw print keepsake with their ashes in a locked box (with a key of course and their name on a heart charm). I suggest cutting some of your dog's hair and doing their paw print beforehand... maybe not the same day. The one provided was kind of sloppy to be honest but I'll take it since I didn't have it in me to do it myself. Oh yeah, they came like 2-3 hours earlier than they told me which usually is great news for services but not this one haha. That broke my heart too. I put my dog down in February and am finally writing this... in September. I love my dog so much and I know if you're reading through these reviews you probably do too. I replayed that last day a lot in my head but I know in the end it would've been awful and selfish for me to prolong her life any longer. You're not a bad person for looking up reviews like this. I had to rehome my dog of six years because we moved to be closer to my dad while he had cancer and was on home hospice. One year after we rehomed my pet the pound called me because I was on the microchip. My beloved dog Karma was in serious crisis. We picked her up and took her to a vet that day. After a year of treatment after treatment (mites, yeast, bacteria, allergies) she wasn't getting any better and in spite of of ten thousand dollars at the vet and hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of dollars in treatments she still scratched and licked herself till she bled amongst other things. They really helped me out of a really painful situation. My 14 year old Doberman hurt her back legs really bad for the 100th time and couldn't move. She was in really bad pain and taking her to the vet would have just added more pain and stress she didn't deserve. They came out in less than an hour and put her to rest on her bed in the comfort of our own house. Worth every penny and I really appreciate these two. Not sure why it's such a mystery. Normally, if you take your dog to a vet, it's under $100 or maybe these days $150 for euthanasia, cremation and a paw print. If it's your vet, hopefully you have a relationship and it's an okay process. These guys will come to your home, euthanize your pet and ship the ashes to you for $650 based on their website. It's $350 to euthanize and discard, $450 to euthanize and I guess you get a portion of the mass cremation or $650 to receive only your pet's ashes. Doesn't seem right to me, hundreds more to get your dog's ashes, but that's what they charge. Seems to me like totally taking advantage of people's grief, and I'd totally advise going to your vet or even any vet since the end result is more than $500 over what you should pay, but if you know that and you're okay with it, you do you. My little guy is on his last leg right now and he's had over $7000 in surgeries and procedures just this year, but there's no way I'm paying somebody $650 when the end result is my pup's ashes in a box, exactly the same as any vet will do for about $100. So this is strictly informational as people have said they can't find out about the cost, which you can easily find under "cost" on their website. If you think the cost is worth it, no judgement at all, and condolences if you're on here looking. I came here to look, and I found my answer. I'll go to my vet unless my poor pup's time comes after hours or on the weekend, then I'll go to a 24/7 place, but I'll invest all my money in trying to save my pup, not in paying someone who charges what I consider to be completely rip-off fees, particularly the $200 difference to get your dog's ashes vs. communal ashes, which is absolutely ridiculous. In response to the owner's comment, I have no problem with the cost for somebody who wants to spend the extra for the service. $350 actually isn't that bad for the service. Mainly what I was questioning was the additional $200 to get your dog's ashes back. We have only had one dog euthanized in the past and the additional cost to have his remains returned to us was nowhere near $200, the entire cost was actually less than that and all I can tell that is different to return the ashes to to owner with your service is that you have them shipped rather than picked up. Anyway, I was just addressing another review that said they couldn't find the cost. I want anyone who is looking for your service to find the information quickly and make an informed decision. I lost my best friend Blaze last night, the dog I loved more than my husband (he knew this) and they came and helped me more than I could ever imagine. I've read the reviews, both good and bad and all I have to say is they have the hardest and worst job in the world and it's people like them that give you a little normalcy and the opportunity to do it in your own home and I thank them for that. I was absolutely blown away by Erika and Dr. Soliman's bedside manner, promptness, and communication. My Bernese Mountain Dog was battling cancer. Over the course of a few days, his health took a sharp turn for the worse. They were able to quickly fit us into their schedule, and release him from his pain. I was able to cuddle him outside under a tree while Erika and Dr Soliman put him to sleep. It was such a gentle and peaceful experience that I recommend it for every pet if their time has come. I had contacted a few other services and was weirded out by some personalities at other companies. They were either too "fake emotional" or not compassionate enough. Dr. Soliman and Erika were perfect for me. They were gentle, compassionate, but also medically-minded and straight forward. It was a genuine experience and I will take that with me for the rest of my life. A few weeks later, they hand delivered his ashes to me at my home. They came in an absolutely beautiful hand made wooden box with his name engraved and his paw print on an ornament. I can't recommend these two enough. I will start by saying, ultimately I did not use this service, and here's why. I contacted Erika yesterday to inquire about at-home pet euthanasia. Our cat has been through the ringer with lymphoma, and we've reached a point where it's unfair to keep putting her through this. She finished chemo and a month later took a sharp decline. My husband and I made the extremely difficult decision to end her suffering, but knew we wanted to do it at home so it can be as peaceful as possible. I texted Erika because talking on the phone is hard for me without breaking down in tears. I should have intuitively known better because her texts were cold for someone in this kind of pet service. Even though their website shows they cover my area in their service area, she still acted very put-out by my request to come up to Lake Arrowhead. She told me she had to give us a window, rather than a specific time because of the drive and traffic - no problem. She told me the window would be 12-3pm, I said okay. Then crickets, she never actually confirmed the appointment with me that night. Then in the morning when I texted to ask if we were confirmed for today, she said she had to check if they service my area. Why wouldn't you have said that when I first started talking to you? Very frustrating when it's a time sensitive situation and my kitty is suffering. Finally we get confirmation that they can come to my area, the only stipulation is that we can't live on a dirt road. We don't, so I told her that and figured there wouldn't be any issues. 5 minutes after the time they were supposed to arrive, Erika called me, sounding really rude and annoyed, because their GPS led them somewhere that isn't to my house. I asked what street they're on, so I could help direct them. Her response was "I don't know, there's no street signs." I said "Okay, can I send you a pin to my location? Which GPS are you using?" She replied "I don't know, the one on my phone." SUPER HELPFUL. Her tone was so rude, and this is already a highly emotional situation, I was immediately so turned off, but I don't want my girl to keep suffering, so I proceed with helping them get to my house. When they get out of the car, the Dr. can't get up my stairs. He can barely even walk from his car to the stairs. That's fine, but if you have a health condition that makes walking difficult, and can't walk up steps, why wouldn't you say that? You asked whether we had a dirt road... why wouldn't you ask other questions about the home or be up-front about your physical limitations? They had the audacity to ask us to bring our cat down to them and basically do the euthanasia in our gravel parking area. ABSOLUTELY NOT. To top it all off, they were going to charge us $950 for this at-home euthanasia, and individual cremation (we'd get her ashes back). $950 to euthanize my cat in our street. NO. My advice to you -- be more empathetic to pet parents who are distraught, and making a very difficult to decision to do something they don't want to do. We're losing a member of our family, act like it. read more

Dr. S and Erica were so helpful, caring, considerate, and empathetic towards our situation. We had a puppy who suffered a spinal chord injury and at 10 months old we had to have him put down. We called and Erica picked up (on a Sunday afternoon) and they were able to squeeze us in at 8 AM the next day (Monday) before their other scheduled appointments. It was devastating as our puppy's health declined so quickly from Friday to Sunday and at that point he was suffering and it was inhumane to keep him alive. They came to our home, told us each step, and stepped outside multiple times to give us time to say goodbye. It was a very sad experience for our family and they were generous with their time so we could say a proper goodbye. We paid for euthanasia and cremation services which totaled $750. I read reviews and see people complain about price, when reviews on yelp shouldn't be about price. When you agree to pay for a service, you agree to the price disclosed. The review should be for the service and not to complain that you paid more than you wanted to when you were the one who hired them for the service. For us, we had a 58 lb dog who couldn't walk anymore, had spinal damage, and had lost all control of his bowels. He wasn't mobile and he hated the vets office where we spent almost $5,000 on MRIs, Neurology, x-rays, and more. We felt that the cost was worth the comfort of grieving in the privacy of our own home with no one rushing us to leave, and for our dog he was able to die in the comfort of his own home surrounded by family. We've had our dogs euthanized before and yes, it's $250 at the vets office and $120 for the cremation. But you have to make an appointment for the next available (which was not an option for us because he was suffering from pain at this point) and he was not mobile. In addition, they bring the ashes and footprint to you when they receive them back. It's a white-glove, full-service experience. Which helps during a very dreadful and painful time of grief. All in all, a great experience with them given the circumstances. You could see and feel that they were incredibly distraught having to euthanize a puppy when they commonly euthanize dogs in their older ages. Thanks you Dr. S and Erica. read more

Receptionist and assistant is a wack job. Dr. is kind and that's the only thing that made the process OK. He allowed us time, compassion, empathetic questions, he allowed our music and the space we were building to say goodbye to our little one. That felt good and was successful. But the receptionist/assistant needs to learn how to do her job and be put on a leash herself. If you want to act like a heartless bartender who is serving up cocktails at midnight in a seedy bar, that job fits you. But trust me, no one wants to have a cold, heartless experience you offer representing this service. No one needs the "Are you going to book or not?" over the phone. No one needs the lack of "understanding" when asked how the animals will react to the injections over the phone. No one needs paperwork shoved in their face as their animal has just had the first injection and we're spending our last moments together. No one needs to be debated with on how they're going to bury their own dog on our own land moments after the friend has passed. Like, seriously? It's not about you. Please understand genuine empathy, compassion and timing, or don't be in this line of work. You will cause damage to people in this process and intensify anger and resentment. Thank God I've worked as a Doula and knew how to hold the space for our entire group and out shadow what energy was being provided by the administrator (again, not the Dr., who was warm and kind). You're in the wrong business and until you learn and understand what people need, you'll keep hearing about angry customers over and over again. Not worth it. You can spare the fake hug at the end too, and the "Sorry for your loss," even if you have been working on the delivery. Please find other work. It's cringe and upsetting. read more
