Our Bella was a 15 year old Aussie when we made the decision to euthanize her at home. Dr Nicole communicated with us throughout the day as to her arrival time. She was so extremely kind and supportive. She explained to us how the process works and gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. This was the best possible outcome for an incredibly painful experience. It has been a month since Bella's death and I finally can write this without crying. Dr Nicole really helped us feel that we had made the right decision. Godspeed Bella and thank you so much for all your love over the many years.

Don was incredibly kind and empathetic. He was able to give me quotes and all the information I required. I'm thankful for the auto message function as I had difficulty responding. My husband made the actual call weeks later. Don again, was incredibly empathetic and kind as he walked us through the steps. On that day, Dr.Nicole came over and was amazing. I couldn't have imagined a gentler experience for my babies. She was so patient, gentle and kind. I'm so thankful, I don't think I have the words to describe the gratitude I feel. I was so scared about them having scary anxious feelings when it came time for euthanasia. But after a lot of excitement which Dr.Nicole was gracious about, my babies settled down and sat with us. I am grateful for the conversations we had. We were never rushed, or judged. She was so empathetic. It was such a devastatingly sad, surreal experience. Neal had started to deteriorate so rapidly this year. His sister Sara had started to not be able to hide how ill she felt. I don't think I would have ever been ready to let them go. As I look back at my pictures and videos it's easier to see that they were both ill. It was so easy to look past it when they were here. I'd compare them to the pictures and just add accommodations for their comfort. Because their smiles, the love in their eyes...the tail wags were still there, different, but there. It was so hard to admit it was time. All the anxiety that had been eating away at me for months washed away and was replaced with a bottomless sadness and relief that my babies were no longer suffering. They were two amazing small little dogs who left an unfathomable chasm in my heart. The after care was also above and beyond. I can't recommend them enough. If you are reading this and you think it is time, Serene Passages is the correct choice.

They told us they had an opening around 3:30 PM. We then asked them if there was a way to be seen sooner. They told us to just show up and that they would charge us extra to squeeze us in between appointments but that we would be seen sooner than this appointment time. We showed up around 2:30 PM or so. They put us in a room where we waited for 30+ minutes without hearing anything from anyone. When we went to the front to have an update on when we would be seen, this chick called STACY came out of nowhere and spoke to us with a really rude and disrespectful tone "THIS IS AN EMERGENCY CLINIC SO YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO WAIT". We know this is an emergency clinic, we do understand that they see patients in order of priority, but STILL, there is a way to say things and talk to people. We told her that we previously spoke on the phone with someone who told us to come over saying that we would be seen before 3:30 if we paid an extra fee or something. We were trying to figure out who we spoke with, to demystify the information we received VS the current situation. Every time we asked sweet STACY to help us figure out who we spoke with, she replied "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU SPOKE WITH" in her adorably rude tone! After asking a few times, she said "YOU SPOKE WITH ME". Yeah right...! "WHAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME?" Nah, we don't, otherwise you would have said it earlier when we asked 10 times ago! "I'LL GO TALK TO THE DOCTORS" She then storms in the back room where all the technicians and vets are and starts complaining about us out loud. These are paper thin walls sweet STACY. We heard all your BS. Talking trash about us because we want to know who we spoke with...? We have been misinformed over the phone and just wanted to clarify stuff and not be charged for an extra fee for the visit, that's all. Not one time were we disrespectful in the way we talked to her. She just snapped for no reason. Probably having a bad day...? When she came back in the room to tell us "IT'S GONNA BE 20 MINS WAIT", we told her the walls were paper thin and that we heard her complaining about us to what she replied "YOU'RE MORE THAN WELCOME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY". She then storms back there again and complains one more time to the technicians and vets. Why are you disturbing these poor people with your toxic attitude? Let them do their work and keep your negativity to yourself. We took our sweet kitty and went to the lobby to ask her for her name. "YOU WANT MY NAME? IT'S STACY. OH YOU'RE LEAVING? PERFECT" Who TF says this to people? Why take your toxic vibes out on us tho? Aren't people working with animals supposed to be compassionate, human and caring? She'd be better off working as a prison warden. If you love your animals, please stay away from this place. If she has that kind of attitude towards humans in the lobby, I don't wanna see how she treat animals in the back. STAY AWAY!

The Vets and staff have always been courteous and professional, and although they recommend various items, they do not pressure you to go with any specific treatments/products. You just have to be able to say no and not feel bad about it, they won't make you feel bad about saying no either, at least not in my experience. Facility is clean and they always understood our apprehension about not being able to set the pup down until all of his vaccinations were complete, and ensured us they had the room and area cleaned before we could set him down, which was a huge relief. Our puppy always seemed to be excited to see their technicians and vets, so to me, that's a good sign. We have not yet had the chance to check out the pet hotel/resort as our pup is not neutered yet, which is one of the requirements, so that's still TBD.
