I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here and, unfortunately, I would not recommend this veterinary office to anyone who truly values communication and transparency when it comes to their pet's care. My biggest issue was the complete lack of communication from the medical team regarding my dog Nova. After receiving her results, I wanted to speak directly with someone who had a medical license and could actually explain the findings, answer my questions, and discuss our options. Instead, the only people I was able to speak with were members of the billing team. I called on a Friday and spoke with Eric, clearly explaining my concerns. I was assured that I would receive a call the following Monday from either Dr. Code herself or someone from her medical team. Monday came and went, and I never received that call. When you are dealing with a mass on your dog and trying to make informed medical decisions, communication from the veterinarian should not be something you have to repeatedly chase down. What concerned me even more was the direction they appeared to be recommending for Nova. I did not feel that I was given a clear explanation of all reasonable options, including the pros and cons of each approach. Instead, I was left with the impression that we were being pushed toward additional procedures that could mean more sedation/anesthesia, more needles and potentially more procedures for my dog--not to mention significantly more expense--without first having the conversation I specifically requested with the veterinarian. I understand veterinary care costs money, and I have no problem paying for necessary medical care for my dog. What I do have a problem with is feeling like finances and procedures are being discussed more effectively than the actual medical reasoning behind those procedures. I cannot say what this office's intentions are, but my experience left me feeling like increasing the bill was receiving more attention than communicating with me about Nova's care. That is not a feeling any pet owner should walk away with. Our dogs are family. When something potentially serious is happening, we deserve timely communication, transparency, and the opportunity to speak with a qualified medical professional before making decisions about invasive procedures. Based on my experience with the lack of follow-up, lack of communication from the veterinarian, and lack of clearly explained options, I would caution other pet owners before bringing their animals here. I personally will be looking elsewhere for Nova's care. read more

My first appointment with this office was good, aside from very long wait times between being placed in the exam room, the tech coming in, then waiting for the vet, then waiting again for the tech. I liked the Dr and her thoroughness. She suspected my dog had a UTI and prescribed meds to get a jumpstart. My follow up the next week was terrible. I arrived for my appt and was put in an exam room and forgotten about. I waited over 35 min with my very anxious dog before leaving. They did not even realize I left. And being that you prepay for your exam I don't think they really cared. I understand emergencies can arise but it does not take that long to have someone pop in and communicate if that were the case, especially when you can hear several employees chatting in the front about their weekend. read more

I brought my cat here for dental surgery and the staff and veterinarian were amazing! They patiently answered all my questions and were very gentle with my baby cat when they were examining him. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a veterinary clinic. I called that morning and was given a 9:30 a.m. appointment. They even required a deposit to secure the appointment, which led me to believe they respected their clients' time and had the schedule under control. I arrived on time, was taken to Room #1, and the veterinary assistant gathered all the information about my dog's condition. After that, we were left waiting for about 30 minutes with no updates or explanation. At around 10:00 a.m., the assistant finally came back only to tell me that the veterinarian would not be able to see my dog because of an emergency. I completely understand that emergencies happen in veterinary medicine and should always be prioritized. What I do not understand is the complete lack of communication and respect for clients' time. If the doctor was no longer available, they should have informed me as soon as they knew instead of leaving us waiting in an exam room after taking a deposit. I have a busy schedule and arranged my day around this appointment because my dog needed medical attention. We left exactly as we arrived--without an examination, without any treatment, and after wasting a significant amount of time. To make matters worse, when I expressed that I felt this was disrespectful and poorly handled, the veterinary assistant responded by abruptly shutting the door as she left the room. I found that behavior extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Instead of showing empathy or apologizing for the inconvenience, I was met with an attitude that only made the experience worse. When people bring their pets to a veterinary clinic, they expect professionalism, communication, compassion, and respect. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those. The staff from front desk to the veterinary staff were all great. Very kind and patient and helpful. They didn't try to upsell me or pressure me into anything extra. The place was very clean and my dog Roofus who usually is very skittish around new places and especially new people was at ease. They even gave him a treat and he loved it (normally doesn't happen). i'm so happy i found this place! brought my pups brandy and toby for the first time today to get their vaccines up to date, and wow. the staff is more than pleasant!! :) that's a hard find at the vet lol. from start to finish, every individual we engaged with knew guest service and was incredibly welcoming. they actually care for you and your fur babies, like a family or friend. i wish i got their names but the 3 of them were patient, understanding and informative in all aspects. i appreciate them for naming my options and the price rundown before just tossing a number at me unexpectedly! they're definitely reasonable in pricing as well for being in such a great location. definitely recommend these guys and happy to know i have them to rely on when it comes to treating my pets if need be! :) read more

I called in the morning for availability and they were able to fit me in early afternoon. My dog had a deep 2" laceration from being attacked by a much larger dog. They walked me through a few options, broke down the price of care, gave me time to decide and then executed a care plan. I was in and out in an hour and a half. All the staff were professional and kind and most of all, my dog was stitched back up cleanly and 4 days later the wound looks amazing. Healed nice and clean. On the second day they even called and checked up on him. I'll definitely be going back should anything arise! read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and their staff. I had not yet established care with a veterinarian in Rancho Cucamonga when my cat suddenly became very ill and needed to be seen right away. Despite not being an existing patient, they had no hesitation about getting my cat in as soon as possible. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team was incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive. They treated my cat with such care and also showed so much empathy and understanding toward me during a very difficult time. Unfortunately, due to the severity of his condition, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my cat down. The staff handled everything with such gentleness and respect, and they made an incredibly painful moment feel as peaceful and supported as it possibly could be. Their compassion truly meant more than I can express. I am deeply grateful that I found this clinic when I needed help the most. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for a veterinary team that genuinely cares about both their patients and the people who love them. read more

Edit: Their response below is inaccurate because i was told i didnt need to provide vaccination records after all. The front end of the vet office place is ridiculously unorganized and unprofessional. Yesterday I called and scheduled a nail trim for my cat. I specifically asked to be in the room during the service, as I have never been to this office before and wanted to make sure they were being gentle with my cat. The receptionist mentioned needing to provide a rabies certificate, they asked for his past medical records, proof of a positive FIV test and so on, just for a basic nail trim. I have never had such difficulty scheduling a basic tech appt before. Just scheduling the appt alone was a 10 minute plus a call back because they got the information i gave them wrong. The next day I showed up for the appt. The receptionist charged me for the appt and I waited 10-15 minutes before a tech came out and told me they didn't have any rooms available at the time and I would have to continue to wait. At this time, my cat was becoming increasingly upset in the carrier, so I voiced my frustrations to staff and told them Id rather cancel the appt then continue to wait. I was given 3 different excuses by the staff as to why they were having difficulty accommodating the appt and the receptionist blatantly lied and said she has told me over the phone I'd have to wait for the other appts to finish before they could accomodate my appt. Had i been told that over the phone, I never would've scheduled the appt there in the first place. I left the office without the nail trim and as soon as I returned home I received a call stating a room was now available and I was welcome to return with my cat. I figured since my cat was still in the carrier, it would be best for him if we returned and got this whole thing situated so we wouldnt need to go somewhere else on a different day. I went all the way back to the office for the second time only to find that the room was still dirty and was STILL not available. We waited another 5 minutes before I gave up on this place completely. I asked for a refund for the service they charged me for but didnt provide and was told the manager wasnt in so Id have to wait until tomorrow to get my money back. If this is how the staff handles a basic tech appt, how are they going to handle an actual emergency? I will never take any of my pets here again. read more

Recently, my family and I went to the animal shelter and adopted a little Border Terrier mix who we named Albert. We saw that this vet clinic had just opened and decided to give them a try. We took Albert for a wellness exam, flea prevention and any important vaccines. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. They provide excellent customer service and you can tell they genuinely love caring for your pet(s). Dr. Phil Ahn, Tabitha and Kayla are all amazing. Dr. Ahn is thorough, gentle, patient and great at explaining any concerns and recommendations. We are so grateful for a wonderful experience and quality care. If I could leave no star I would. Do not bring your pet here. They took my dog all day under their care and never called me to tell me they werent doing surgery after all until I called. They sent my dog home stating he would be fine with Iv fluids and meds and to come back days later for surgery. 3 hours later my baby died. I'm in the process of calling the state board due to their negligence. They stated he only had puncture wounds and he would heal himself and Dr. Press promised he would be ok. They just had to recheck his blood work in a couple of days. This happen on a Saturday they were short staff and I'm sure they wanted to go home as well. Pls do not take your babies there If you love them. I lost mine and paid and he still died on me. No money returned But 123 for his life. I'm so grateful to have found this vet! I called with an emergency on a Saturday afternoon, and they made time for my dog and even stayed past closing. My dachshund is usually very nervous at the vet, but the staff was calm and patient, and by the end she was happily accepting pets. I especially appreciated their honesty about what treatment was necessary without pushing unnecessary charges. This is definitely our new home vet! read more
