Did emergency surgery for my dogs kidney stone. Was great. Brought back for suture removal and front desk girl mumbles abt some medication to which I said he only took what you prescribed and she mumbled abt allergies and I said none that we know of. If you know something, I wasn't made aware. She mumbled abt getting two diff meds confused and brushed it off like she realized she was asking abt the wrong thing. Took him back and in 5 minutes he's out. Diff girl checks us out at the counter, looks at the screen and says "Oakleys here for suture removal" and I said "yes". Other girl starts to fumble and they mention an injection shot. I ask what it was and they said he was given a shot for arthritis . Uhm, no. Wrong dog. I brought my elderly cat to Pet Headquarters to have him euthanized. He was in complete renal failure and suffering. It was not easy to find a veterinarian to do this. Dr. Ghuman was not only thorough in explaining the complete condition of my cat's health, but also clarifying the steps of the end of life process. I was able to hold my cat, and Dr. Ghuman was gentle and compassionate, through the entire process, including given me time to grieve, before leaving. I came across this business on a day that I will unfortunately won't forget. My smalll dog was attacked by a bugger dog and my pup wasn't moving, eating, using the restroom. I was going to take my god to the emergency vet but when I called them they told me the waits were long and to try Pet Headquarters which I did. The vet saw us right away, treated my dog's wounds and gave her pain medication. We were told to just care for her as much as we could but her little body was fragile. We took her home to rest. She lasted 2 weeks with us and then she sadly crossed the rainbow's bridge. When I called to update them they were super sweet and shared some kind words with me. I knew my pup wasn't going to make it deep in my heart, but the vets did what they could and gave me 2 wonderful weeks with her. She passed with zero pain and I'm grateful for that. read more

I would not recommend going to this business. Took my pet here for something simple after I initially saw that the exam itself didn't cost much. Was a bad idea, ended up paying more than expected, and they didn't even explain what anything was for. You would think she would inform me of what was going to happen, but I guess that's too much to ask for in such a small clinic. During the initial exam, my pet was treated in what seemed unnecessarily rough. My dog was already not feeling well, and him being treated roughly like that wasn't helpful to the situation. I should have left right after that. It didn't seem like there was any professionalism throughout the whole staff. To top it off, it took forever! The place seemed shady, as my dog had never had an issue at the vet, but when he came back with me, he was shaking and was getting dragged out to the waiting area. Not to mention the medication I took home did not get explained to me! It was just handed to me and when I asked the girl, she just said let me ask the doctor and never came back. One word for this whole business: unbelievable. If you care about your pet and their well-being, don't take them here. We have brought both our Corgis here in emergency situations and both are now doing very well. We were able to get in right away and recently our nearly 10 year old Corgi had extensive surgery to remove a massive mammary lump that had opened. They knew her every time she came in and the staff and doctor were absolutely great with her. She ripped one of her stitch sites open so they found a different solution to close her wound so they didn't have to stitch her back up. Couldn't be more thankful for all they've done for both my girls. read more

All of the front desk employees are awesome here so thank you to them for being understanding! This is the second time Pet Headquarters has shaved a patch of our dog's fur without letting us know they were going to indeed shave our dog. The first time we agreed to have a small portion "clipped" to which we thought would just be a little trim, nope they shaved a 2x2 patch off of our dog 8 months ago and the fur still hasn't grown back. This morning I made it extremely clear we don't want to proceed with draining and testing our dogs cyst if she was going to need to be shaved AGAIN, I said it 4-5 times to the vet and the vet techs. The vet agreed their would be no need to shave her and the vet tech's looked me in the face and agreed she wasn't going to be shaved the cyst would just be drained with a needle, no need for shaving. So we agreed to the needle draining without shaving and then when our dog was brought out to us in the waiting room afterwards, what do you know they shaved her AGAIN. They continue to apologize for the "miscommunication" which is extremely frustrating because we were very clear to NOT shave our dog, if they were, we were going to decline care. We really do like the techs and employees up front at this office so this is no knock on them! We just can't get our dog's fur to grow back and it's extremely frustrating when your dog is like your baby. If you do go here I advise you be extra clear with your wants and needs for you animal because even though I thought I had gotten the point across, they still shaved our poor pup again. Then they only refunded me $32 for a hair growth supplement due to the "miscommunication" but the visit and cyst draining was still $300 so they still got their money. Think twice before you take your animals here. Truly a frustrating experience again. read more

My mother's senior 16 yr chihuahua Missy was walking around with a persistent breathing issue. Was able to get her an appointment quickly. I took my dog to this Vet to have an ear hematoma surgery, they would not let me talk to the actual Vet after the initial exam was performed. I politley asked them to please do a good job, and do it similar to the other ear that they did a month prior. The vet tech I spoke to on the phone told me she would let the doctor know. Apparently this message never reached the doctor. I went to pick up my dog and the job they did on her ear is a total hack job and looks absoultely horrible. Not to metion that they used metal sutures in the ear which I was informed by a family member who is also a DVM that those are the worst thing they could have used, and how bad of a job they did was. I voiced my concerns when picking my dog up from this office and the vet tech looked at me like I grew a third arm, and did not even apologize or say anyhthing besides describing the course of medications they provided me for my dog. This veterinary office also makes prices up as they go, and nothing is set in stone around here. This place is extremely shady, customer service is absolute garbage. This is a note to the people who work there, you may be able to fool and scam unknowing customers and/or patients but you're not able to scam everyone. read more

What kind of heartless vet leaves a barking dog in a cage when it's going to be put down? That poor dog and owner could have spend that time with its owner. It was cruel. Making the decision to put your elderly dog down is an extremely difficult one. After watching our sweet boy decline over the past year, we decided it was finally time. My dog was 13 years old and they have his records. Yet, they still felt the need to do a wellness check before putting him to sleep. Why? Was it to verify whether or not my dog was really ailing as I had said he was? Were they going to try to talk me out of it? What was the point? Then we were told they needed to take him to the back room to put a catheter into his leg. This was how they would inject the "sleep drug" into him and it would be a peaceful process. They took him back and we waited and waited. Shortly after taking him back a dog started barking and barking and barking. I opened the door and realized it was my dog!!! The receptionist was walking by and I said to her, "Is that my dog barking?" She said, "No, we have several dogs back there." BS, I know the sound of my dog's bark, it was him. I was very upset. He continued barking and pawing at the cage to get out. I told my husband I was going to get him and leave if they didn't bring him out very soon. Finally the barking stopped, then I heard him yelp and growl, so I knew they were inserting the catheter into him. When he was returned to us he was soaking wet with urine! I was pretty upset at this point. Then they asked me to take him back out to the front room to weigh him again just to be sure they had the correct weight for the dosage of medicine to administer. My poor dog thought we were leaving. I had to pull him back down the hall. It was gut wrenching. I am not sure whose psyche these people were screwing with - me or my dogs, but at this point I was crying. The last hour and a half, (that's how long this dreadful process took) of my dogs life - was pure hell! Why on earth would this office lock my dog up in a cage for over 20+ minutes instead of letting us keep him in the room with us until they were ready? Why wasn't a pain killer administered prior to catheter insertion? Why were we there for an hour and a half? There is no excuse for what they put us and him though. I will NEVER go back to this vet again. We also had him cremated and were told they would call us in a week or so when his ashes arrived. Nope! Two weeks went by so I called them and was told "Oh, yes they're here, they just arrived." Sure. read more

My experience was waiting an hour out side & another hour in small room inside, which made my dog so nervous Dr Davinder ghuman tried so hard to order blood work , x-ray and a fat bill just to refill a medication my elderly dog has been taking for years. Dr ghuman was even scared to touch my 7 lb dog 16 years old with a few tooth left, he even asked me to open my dogs mouth for exam. I took my senior dog to Pet Headquarters for a teeth cleaning. I left him at 10 am after seeing the Dr. My poor furry baby was in the cage all day until 5:30 pm when they finally got to him to clean his teeth. I made 3 phone calls throughout the day and they kept saying they were busy and hadn't gotten to him yet. Finally I picked him up at 6:30 pm. He was barking a lot. I brought him home and he wouldn't stop barking crying and pacing. He was traumatized! I gave him some med to calm him down but to no avail. I couldn't get him to calm down until 3 o'clock in the morning!! He was so upset, anxious, dehydrated etc I would not recommend this place to anyone! They left my baby 7 hours in a cage! Dr. Ghuman and the entire staff at Pet Headquarters are truly exceptional and compassionate in every way possible. My little guy stopped walking and was screaming in pain. We were so scared and immediately called the vet he had been going to since we got him as a rescue several years ago. Two times in the last couple of months, they have denied letting me bring him in even though they are open 24/7 for emergency situations - this is why I chose them in the first place. Very frustrated and distraught, I then called Pet Headquarters to explain what was wrong and even though they were booked that day, Dr. Ghuman said to bring him in. When we arrived at the hospital, the staff immediately started taking care of my dog. Dr. Ghuman thought it could be potentially a couple of different things and so he ordered some bloodwork and X-rays to figure out what was wrong. Throughout the day, Dr. Ghuman and the staff would update me as they received the results. Luckily, my dog didn't have a life-threatening illness and in time, with the right meds and treatment, he should be able to lead a fairly normal life. Thank you Dr. Ghuman to you and your staff! You are all amazing and my husband and I are grateful for your compassion toward animals and their owners! I highly recommend Pet Headquarters to anyone looking for a veterinarian. I have been coming here since Dr. Thomas was in practice. Once these new guys took over, I should have changed vets. I thought I'd stay with them since my 2 dogs had been seen at that office for over the last 10 +years. I took my 2 dogs in for their rabies shot. Unfortunately one of my dogs didn't take the shot too well and started acting funny. My dog is an older dog so I immediately called the veterinarian and they don't even let you talk to the damn Vet himself, they make you talk to the nurses who are super half trained and don't know crap. They told me, " Oh, he's probably having an allergic reaction and it would go away in a few hours. " I told them that he really didn't look good and explained his symptoms. They told me, you can come back into the office and get another shot and it would be this amount of money and blah blah. I said, Look! my dog looks like their not doing too well. I can't even put him on the back of our pick up truck. They advised me again, about the $87 fee. Later that night my dog died. I called them, they called me back the next day to see if I needed cremation Services for my dog and proceeded to go over the fees on my voicemail. Rest in peace Peaches. They have improved and now they take steps to keep that from happening again, removing the wrong cyst or wrong leg or whatever so I'm glad at least that changed their procedures. Even though I think their prices are too high, they did end up doing the surgery on my dog and removed the cyst for free so I think that was very impressive. I am writing this review, my first ever, coz I feel PET HEADQUARTERS, really deserved to be recognized. Our family have been going to this vet clinic for a long time. The Vets are amazing and very competent. Their diagnosis are always accurate. Price is very reasonable, never overcharged like others. Dr. Ghuman had done surgeries on our dogs without any complications at all. We were all very happy with the successful outcome of our Morocco's very crucial surgery done in February 2024 and she's been doing well since, in her perfect shape and very active as if she didn't had surgery. Dr Rajdeep Singh was on duty and provided conservative testing and treatment for Luna at an affordable price. Within 3 days she was back to her hyper self demonstrating that she was feeling better. She was on oral medication for 10 days and will be returning for recheck. This pet headquarters is very willing to work with you so treatment can be affordable. Office accused us of improperly dosing two meds on two different occasions. What's more likely: that two college educated parents who have raised two children to adulthood do not know how to administer 2 ml using a marked syringe or a veterinarian who makes money by charging for the extra medicine he needs to dispense; we were told we'd be charged since we are not administering it correctly and there is no possible way they could be making [self-serving] mistakes. Maybe they suspect we are selling the surplus medicine in an underground market! Is it possible their behavior is attributable to my questioning the prescription list first presented to us. We refused most of the meds and dog is doing fine. It was too much unnecessary and redundant medicines especially for a puppy (see pic). This place rocks! 2 weeks ago they got my dog in immediately and the Doctor did surgery to clean an abscess on the back of his tongue. The dog had not been able to eat or drink for 2 days and I thought he was dying. Dr. Gruhman and his staff are wonderful. This place has great hours as well closing for a few in the afternoon and staying open until 9pm. The doctor and his staff kept in contact the whole time letting me know about the charges and his status. The dog was so much better when I picked him up at 9:30 pm, he was able to drink water. 2 weeks later he is there now getting his stitches removed. Shadow is better than ever because they antibiotics cured a long standing sinus infection that the doctor he went to before was not able to. They do exrays and lab work here. read more
