Everything about this hotel was positive from the nicely furnished room with super comfortable bed, to the amenities-including the chromotherapy shower-to the fantastic breakfast, and mostly the service. All the people at the front desk and dedicated concierges were super friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions, tourist suggestions, and travel suggestions (useful since a train strike was in effect during my stay). The head of the housecleaning department even repaired (sewed) a pair of pants I tore on my visit-talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. The hotel offers its guests a number of freebies that are much appreciated. Besides complimentary cook to order breakfast the hotel offers 3 free walking tours around the city and in room mini bar items-such as water, soft drinks, and beer-are also complimentary. The hotel even has various snacks (cookies, snacks, some food items) offered to guests in the lobby entrance as well as a daily happy hour. One final bonus are the 17th century ruins in the downstairs lounge area. Finally, the location is excellent. Corpo Santo is about a minute walk from Pink Street, 5 minute walk from Time Out Market, and very close to a number of tourist attractions in a less densely populated area than other hotels I looked at as well as a short walk from the water. Very easy for Uber drivers to find the hotel. This was my first visit to Lisbon but if I return I will definitely stay again at Corpo Santo. Muito bom!!

The connecting room setup worked perfectly for us, plenty of space between the two rooms, and the staff had clearly thought through what families actually need, right down to the football shirts waiting for our kids on arrival. What really stood out was the spa, chromotherapy showers, a jacuzzi, and this bucket contraption that tips warm water on you when you least expect it, sounds odd but the kids were obsessed. Add in a genuinely excellent dinner at the in-house restaurant and a location that puts you right in the middle of old Lisbon, and it's easy to see why this place is so well rated. Would book again without hesitation.

The lights were also motion censored, so the hallway felt like a haunted house. Actually, the entire hotel felt like it was haunted. The rooms also left a lot to be desired, but we did have a semi decent view of the city. The bathroom was also very small and the shower was a bit complicated. We weren't in the room for long as we quickly changed, headed out to dinner, and by the time we came back, it was time to go to sleep for our flight the next morning. Overall, they have an amazing staff, but the hotel really needs some TLC.

The staff were very nice esp the lady at the front desk! The elevator is small so thats expected in Europe. When it was down we had to drag our stroller down; BUT when it was time to check out and elevator was still down they let us used the staff elevator for our luggage so that helped allt as we have a lot of stuff due to the baby. Overall i hope they keep up the cleanliness and great service! They also gave a complimentary water in the room please dont take the bottle you will get charged for it. A "large" beer was ordered, arriving in a stein that a comic book hero would appreciate. I laughed until I could laugh no more. It was enormous. * The food was good, those little clams and more. * The service was nuts. I was served by so many different people that I had no idea who was responsible for my table and each server also seemed to have the need to go to tables outside, leaving ajar a door which allowed cold air inside. Despite my getting up at least 4 times to shut that door - and my asking every server to shut it directly - they couldn't seem to master this concept. * My choice table along the street-side window was the best place from which to watch the thousands of people go by, making their way to the plaza. And when fireworks from the plaza began, it was easy to run out to the street to watch before returning to my table. I can't say I have anything other than good memories of this place but unless you order a giant beer on a night when there's fireworks, the service levels make me disinclined to recommend it.

Perfectly cooked and meat easily coming apart. Sur and turf - 4.5 stars. Beef super tender and tasty. Asked for medium rare but had to send it back was a little too rare, then it was perfect. It's a 25-step climb from the front door to the lobby/office. It's another 25-step step climb from the lobby/office to the one person/luggage elevator that only goes from floor "one" to floor "four" with no stops in between, and which was out of service during our two-night stay. So, I counted about 150 steps up to the roof, a little less to our room on the fifth floor. The rooftop bar offers a 20% discount to hotel guests, but only on food, not on alcohol. The complimentary breakfast is served up there from 730am to 1000am. Fruits, meats, eggs, cheese, pastries, coffee and juice. Good stuff. Upon check in, the staff helped us get out luggage up to 5th floor room. Room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. A/C worked well. We had an early flight and asked for assistance getting our luggage down as a taxi was picking us up at 630am the following morning. We were told the staff doesn't show up until 700am. (I found it odd that there is no staff overnight after the rooftop bar closes. What happens if a pipe bursts or something of that nature? Very strange). Anyway, the manager said he would show up at 620am to assist with our luggage. And he did show up at 620am. On our second visit we ordered the special degustation menu for two people. It was priced at 69 euros per person and it was amazing and portions were large. It included five courses plus a dessert sample platter. We only ate the first four courses and then informed the server to not have the chef make the fifth course. We forced ourselves to eat desserts and they were both spectacular. The room was very large with a huge balcony and views of Lisbon. The hotel and rooms are well insulated and we never heard any noise from adjacent rooms or the hallways. A room safe large enough for a laptop and valuables was perfect. Views from the rooftop running track were stunning. The bathroom was huge with separate areas for the sinks, the shower, the toilet and the deep bathtub. The toiletries were high end products from L'Occitane. This is a true luxury hotel with service and food to match. We highly recommend this hotel!

Frankly, I think this place is a shit hole compared to the other places I've been able to stay in Portugal... I wish I could rate it no stars, but the lowest you can go on Google reviews is one star.. I highly suggest you book else where. The hotel MARQUÊS DE POMBAL was very nice. How can this be called a four star hotel?? And the parking garage is abysmal.

We tried a bit of everything: croquetas, cheese plate, potato skins, and bruschetta. I wasn't a huge fan of the bruschetta only because it didn't have any sauce. It was just tomatoes and meat on a little toast. Everything else was great though! Come here for a snack and a drink at sunset!
