They visited my home for five months, charging me monthly fees a lot, yet they didn't use proper materials. Instead, they sprayed water, and I noticed an increase in bugs over time. I had pest doctor do a termite letter for me for a house I was buying and they went above and beyond. The seller tried to argue that there was no treatment needed and after working with Roger(the owner) and Dwight, they reached out to the seller and explained the situation even though they didn't have the contract for the treatment needed. Unfortunately, I have never had more issues with a company. They have lost my payments, provided incorrect information, but the largest issue is the constant mistakes they have made with their service. I have been incredibly disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I absolutely recommend pest doctors to anyone. We had neighbors move out and their little creepy crawlers decided to raid my home and In a panic I reached out to another neighbor and they recommended pest doctors I called made my appt. stressed to them the importance of my severe allergies and the came and destroyed every critter we had ants bad (weather) we got the usually house and some poison spiders and my sever allergy roaches (wasn't to bad because once I seen a couple moving in from the neighbors moving out) I called pest doctors and BOOM they came and did what I needed. read more

To be fair, I can't review their services because I never got that far. I called to simply ask what services they provide (do they treat for termites, what is their basic pest control service and the typical cost... you know, things a business should EXPECT a customer to ask).... and couldn't get answers. I was told they'd set up my inspection and asked for my address etc. However, I hadn't received any information yet to even decide if I wanted to go with their service so I wasn't yet prepared to set anything up. It was off-putting. I was very polite to the lady on the phone who couldn't seem to answer any of my questions. A manager (I guess?) then grabbed the phone from her and seemed irritated and by then I just felt that I had "put them out" enough and decided to politely end the conversation. Maybe they offer a great service....who knows...but their customer service skills could be brushed up on. Our friends use them and are very happy with them.. but we won't. read more

I have gotten a chance to see Pest Doctor at work both personally and professionally, and while there are many fly-by-night pest companies out there, Pest Doctor is the real thing. Most importantly, they know their industry very well and will treat you fairly. I highly recommend them for all pest control and termite related business in the Nashville area. read more

do not pay them until your job is inspected by competent people outside their company

I called a week ago to schedule a termite inspection for my home. I called because I saw their company car inspecting a home across the street from mine that just went up for sale. I'd been meaning to do this ever since we moved into our home almost a year ago. Even though the house had been inspected before we bought it....things change. So, Pest Doctor was across the street and I called to set up an inspection. Debbie took my call and it has been an awesome experience ever since. I watch A LOT of HGTV. And I told this to Debbie and so does she. Debbie shared her own home maintenance experiences with me while educating me on the types of termites in the Middle TN area and what to look out for. She also explained the inspection process to help to set my expectations. Debbie and I talked like we were old friends. Woman to woman I felt a common bond that she was relating to me personally and not trying to sell their services or products. Honesty, integrity, and knowledge is what I felt from this conversation. Debbie was so easy to talk to. She clearly understood my concerns and demonstrated her expertise by sharing her knowledge with me which helped to ease my concerns. I told her she's an encyclopedia on this stuff! Let's move to the inspection that happened today(April 5, 2016). Rovin (Owner/technician) completed the inspection. I tagged along while he did the inspection and he also educated me on what to look for and how it's treated. He didn't make me feel bad about my cluttered garage either...thanks Rovin. I can tell this is where his passion is. He was thorough, explained all of his actions and talked to me like I was a regular home owner and not a fellow exterminator. I understood everything he explained to me. And once again, his focus was on my home and not charging me for unnecessary services. At the end of the inspection, Rovin explained his findings and made his suggestions and left it up to me without any pressure. I signed for the annual contract since I didn't have any termite issues. Rovin complimented the previous treatment work that had been done on the house before we'd purchased it. It's not very often that you hear one professional compliment another when they're trying to get your business too. I felt the need to share this experience with Pest Doctor because I think they are a company that puts the customer first. I'm going to stay with Pest Doctor because they have excellent customer service and technician support that I've experienced. read more
