Like most of the folks here, PureGuard got me while I was on my front lawn by scooting around on a hoverboard and tossing a sales pitch my way, along with any neighbors who were around. We have been in our home for about 3 years now, so pest control was something we needed, just as a preventative measure. PureGuard has a decent program at a fair cost, along with solid reviews and feedback on multiple sites, so I went for it. So far we are happy with the service and cost. We have the bi-monthly plan where we are treated every other month and charged only at time of treatments. We always make sure we are home during treatments so they can spray indoors as well as outdoors. The Technicians are always friendly and respectful. As are the Customer Service team that I have spoken to via phone. Overall, happy with the services so far and plan on continuing to utilize PureGuard for the foreseeable future. read more

They are claiming not to find me in their database, which is ironic considering they are billing me every month! Do NOT use them. They make you sign a contract and it's very misleading on the cost. Super expensive and the very aggressive man I spoke with on the phone about it was completely unwilling to help. I have been relentlessly trying to cancel with 'PureGuard Pest Solutions' for over 4 months now. I have pages on pages of screenshots I have uploaded to my customer portal of all of my emails and messages and phone records that have gone unanswered. Even so, they still continue to harass me asking for further payments for work that has not been done. I have been so explicitly clear as to why I refuse to work with a company that does not value honesty. I was contracted in for a year after they lured me in through fraudulent misrepresentation. The only reason I signed up was because the sales guy told me they could get rid of the cicadas which they later told me was not possible after I was already contracted in. He also told me $70/month was the cheapest option - even though they come every other month - and that this would take care of the cicadas. Everything he said was a lie. I had every right to void this contract since it was based on fraudulent misrepresentation. However, I figured at least I have pest control so I stuck through the year long contract. It wasn't until a horrible sales pitch after a year from one of their reps that I realized I was being overcharged. She then tried to sell me more expensive packages after I had been overcharged for 1.5 years. I told her I wanted to leave my contract and since I was past the yearly mark it shouldn't be an issue but to have them come get rid of the wasps for real since I had already paid and that was included in my contract. I told her not to cancel until afterwards. Which I later followed up on. Since then I have only been ghosted and gaslit. I am about 6 months past my contract and they refuse to acknowledge me leaving. I have registered with the do not call list and have informed them of that, but this company seems to think fair housing regulations doesn't applies to them. They are very wrong for this. I am not sure what else to do other than have my attorney track down the owner of this scam. I have spent $1k with this company who every single service had to come back, unless it was winter time... this company seems to be more of a pest than the actual pests that they can't get rid of. They are unable to address anything I have to say about leaving the contract. But they are able to contact me about continuing my service and charging me late fees since I took my card off since they've been so unresponsive. Horrible value, save yourself the headache, time, and money. read more

A representative called me on March 5 to verify that I wanted my service canceled. I said I did. And I asked the question, they are not going to be any more charges are there? And she said no. I had fulfilled my 12 month contract that started last March. She called back on 12 March And said my manager reviewed your account and we still need to charge you. I told them that their representative had already verified that my contract was canceled. They went ahead and charged me $80 that very afternoon. I've had issues with gnats, wolf spiders, and earwigs in my apartment and my apartment's maintenance wasn't prioritizing my pest control request so they weren't going to handle the problem fast enough. I called PureGuard Pest Solutions and Danny came by the very next day. He sprayed my apartment very thoroughly and gave me gnat traps as well as glue traps for the larger bugs. He also noticed a wasp's nest in my front doorway that I hadn't noticed before so he sprayed it and knocked it down for me. He said if I was still experiencing issues with bugs in two weeks, PureGuard would come back for free.
