A 1/3# patty, apple maple bacon jam, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and crispy onions, on a toasted butterhorn roll. This was an excellent burger, the beef was high quality and delicious. The bacon jam gave it a slighty sweet, yet savory taste. Everything merged together perfectly to create a burger I definitely want to eat again. I got applesauce with it that was very good. I got some Cinnamon Rolls to take home and they were fantastic. I also got a Raspberry Cream Cheese Roll. Basically raspberry instead of the cinnamon mixture and it works. Definitely a home run. The service was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely, this is worth the 90 minute drive. Both Cinnamon Rolls and Burgers deserve their spots on the best of lists.

My mom likes the breakfast bowl, and the rest of the crew rounds out with pancakes, eggs, and meats. The dining room is pretty large, and they've got room to open up more in the back. Nothing here is the best I've ever had, but everything is solid enough, and there are lots of local regulars who seem to agree.

I seated myself at an available low-top table and started with a cup of the chicken tortellini soup. The soup was flavorful and a great way to begin the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the smoked brisket Philly sandwich with au jus and upgraded to French fries. The brisket had a nice smoky flavor and was cooked well, although it was a bit fattier than I prefer. I also think the sandwich would have benefited from a layer of BBQ sauce to enhance the overall flavor. One standout feature is the dessert selection. They offer around a dozen homemade cakes, crisps, and puddings. I chose the Nutter Marshmallow Cake, which was light, fluffy, and very enjoyable. The restaurant has a large, open dining area with low-top tables and sturdy wooden chairs. Despite handling approximately 25 guests, the server provided attentive service under the circumstances. The restrooms were clean, which is always appreciated. Note that there is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments. Overall, I had a positive experience and would return to try one of their BBQ sampler platters in the future.

It's one of few local restaurants that has remained open through most of it's changes and a struggling local economy. I am never disappointed with the pizzas. Foo-G's does well with salads and sub sandwiches, but the nachos are pizza-style (baked) and just missing something. They have a decent selection of soda for carry out, and from spring through fall, also hand dipped ice cream. Locals can also pick up breakfast and coffee in the morning.
