I had a great experience at The Perspire Sauna Studio. They are recently completed a restructure and update of the facility. It was clean, organized and smelled good. The staff were very friendly and gave a great overview/tour before use. They use infrared heated saunas instead of the typical steam saunas (at least what most are familiar with). Just about everything (temperature, colored lights, smart tv, etc.) is customizable one inside your private room. Make sure to hydrate before, during, and after your next visit and I promise you'll have a great time!! read more

Wowowow. where do i begin? This was such an incredible experience. Walking in, the soft spa music is very calming and there is a water dispenser and a fridge with beverages for purchase. My private sauna was in #3. Each private sauna has its own tv with a cool face towel for after and three other towels to make your experience the best. Since I haven't used a sauna regularly, mine was set to 135° for 35 minutes. I was able to really detox and relax while listening/watching my favorite show on Netflix. I would absolutely come back if i'm looking for a way to treat myself and relax after a hard week of work. self care is important!! I'm only giving this a 4 star instead of 5 due to my sauna having some hair from someone else in it which made me a little uncomfortable. read more

I have been looking into recovery methods for running and infrared saunas is definitely one of them! Visited for the first time and was met by Bianca. She provided a tour of the studio as well as a breakdown of the process, how the controls work, and benefits of their saunas. There are 8 private rooms with 1 ADA accommodation! Each room comes with a TV with included stream options for your choosing. They also provide a cold eucalyptus towel. I had a 40 min session. I can't say that it aids in my recovery just yet but can definitely say I felt very relaxed after my session. I will be purchasing a package to try their saunas to see how it aids in my recovery. Tip: Bring your own water bottle! They have a water station :) Dress code: What you wear in the sauna is up to you. I would recommend bringing loose clothing items to change into afterwards! Bianca is truly what made my experience go from a four to a five star rating. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly welcome by her. She explained everything about the studio and took her time to make sure I understood the process. Sauna is impeccably clean and I love the red light therapy addition. Absolutely LOVED my experience. From the moment walking in being greeted by Bianca, to her showing me to room #2 which is a small suite with a chair, table, tv, and sauna. Comes with a wet eucalyptus towel, one head towel, one body towel, and foot towel. She gave me 1L water bottle and explained the heat temperature settings, lighting, infrared lights, and timer. You're allowed to bring the remote into the sauna and control the tv to whatever you prefer. There are speakers in the sauna. I had my temperature starting at 135 degrees for 40 mins. That is the 'relaxing' setting, towards the end of the session, I increased the temperature to 145 degrees but it takes like 10 mins to get there. The hotter, the more sweat. I'm 5'8", I was sprawled out on the bench like a hibernating bear. It's completely private, so you can choose to go in your birthday suit or in a bathing suit. I listened and watched relaxing sounds of river water in a woodsie setting, I closed my eyes, and let my body completely relax. I also drank the whole liter of water surprisingly. Towards the end of my timer, I sat up, turned the mood lighting to yellow, grabbed the eucalyptus towel and buried my face into it. Breathing in the refreshing scent of eucalyptus. This is one of my favorite amenities in sauna type places, I'm Filipino, so nothing more relaxing than smelling eucalyptus (like Vix Vapor Rub haha)! The timer doesn't ding when it's done, it's up to you to watch it, or set a timer on your phone. I highly don't recommend bringing your phone in the sauna, I had it in there for less than 10 mins and it felt it was overheating. There's a full size mirror in the room to help you get ready. Towel drop and bathroom at the end of the hallway. I felt relaxed coming out, but I'm even more relaxed now as the day progressed, I swear this sauna has some kind of power. I feel like I got a massage or something. I'm a runner, 3 miles every other day, and this was the recovery I ultimately needed. They have membership plans, also a feature where you can add saline mist to your session, which cleanses your body throughout your day. Might hit that next! read more

Came in for a infrared heat session. App only showed a few options for late night and the host up front was able to adjust the reservation to an early time. Session is as planned. Cucumber infused wet towel and two towels for inside for the 40 min session. Make sure to set the audio and video to sync to the studio so it doesn't blast only on the tv speaker. Accidentally turned it off and had to resync. Very clean and a wonderful session. Glad it's here and really enjoyed it. read more

Majority of the time, they have my presets (temperature, light color etc.) ready for me by the time I get there, which I truly appreciate so much. It's the little things that often add up and keeps me coming back. You get your own private room, tv with a lot of options, eucalyptus cold towel for after. I got my membership and usually go to the HB one, I live in HB...but when I can't get an appt, I'll drive the extra 8 min and go to this one! The service is always just 1-2 steps above!!! So cute! Bianca at the front desk was the sweetest and walked me through everything again because it's been a couple years since visiting a Perspire studio. Everything was set, clean, and ready to go when I arrived (10 mins before my scheduled time expecting to wait at hydrate). The jellyfish background on YouTube is still my go to, but she got me into a couple stretch videos personalized to Perspire room! I travel a lot. I've been to perspire Sauna is all over California. This is the worst one by far. Had a weird smell when I walked into the place. I asked him what it was after the session. They said oh that's the stuff we put on the towels after you clean yourself incorrect, and it smelt like mold the floor in the room. I was in look like it hasn't been resurfaced in a long time. my sweat was going into the wood when I cleaned it up with a towel. The towel is all black. I showed them if they cleaned it up I'm sure it'll be a nicer place but for the money we pay as members I was disappointed for this location I would not go back ever. This was my 3rd perspire studio I have tried the last month and this one won my heart! I didn't have such great customer service at the others but knew I wanted to become a member at a Perspire. Although not the closes to home the staff is so kind and welcoming they had me at "goodbye!" This particular perspire also doesn't have the updated infrared saunas but they still work wonderfully and provide the same experience. The benefits of the infrared saunas have gotten me hooked. I love the option of different color therapies that focus on different benefits. I already see a difference in my skin complexion and I am sweating more and more as I continue to go. They provide different monthly memberships to target needs and I find it to be reasonable. Tip--cancel session 2 hours in advance to avoid $20 charge. All studios also provide a $20 intro session which is awesome. Bring water and wear loose fitting clothing. Parking is also tight at this location so plan to arrive early to your session to find parking. I just find it easier to park at Ralph's and walk across the street. It saves so much time and stress free because tbh parking is nightmare lol. read more

It's quite saddening I have to come on here and leave a sour review based off my experience with this company. I enjoyed my time here until they continued to charge my card even after cancelling. Katy - who apparently works at the corporate office 'promised' she was refunding the card on file. Only to tell me she couldn't process the payment so she'd be sending a check via mail. Which sounds incredibly archaic for 2023. After weeks of nothing in the mail, Katy began ghosting emails. It's clear this company is ran by children and they have 0 ethics or morals. The facilities are sub par, although fairly clean. Leaving this review when I am because I'm closing open loops and although it has been some time - I don't believe this companies ethics have changed as I've heard similar stories from friends/colleagues using these locations. Put simply, I wouldn't recommend giving your money to this business. It's a great model, however it's ran poorly. At this point, it's about principle, not the money. I bought a package a while ago for 20 sessions and when i went in last to use it they told me they had expired. I would have never bought the package if I knew they had expired because I travel a lot and don't have time to use them all up in the amount of time you guys need. The girl had then added them back on for me and i've used 2 sessions since and today when i went to go book one i got told that they were inactive. I was excited to use my new unlimited membership here. The Sauna 8 room for members only was not working properly. It said 158 degrees, but only felt like 90 degrees. I barely broke a sweat. So instead of wasting time I left after 20 minutes. Attendant try to help and reset the temp but to no avail. She comp'd me a juice. Parking is also very tight depending on what time you come. I booked an IR sauna session on classpass yesterday for 3:20-4pm. I arrived 20 minutes early and a room was ready and waiting for me. The girls at the counter were very nice. In the sauna room were clean towels to sit on and wrap myself in as wel as a cold towel for me to use after. The only thing I didn't love was that the towel had eucalyptus(?) oil on it which I love the scent but it kind of burns the skin on my face. Tonight, I regret to say I will no longer return & complete the Summer 2020 Detox Challenge. I am way too upset and angry how tonight's front desk handled the situation. I have a standing Mondays, Wednesday's and Friday appointment. I am coming from Villa Park, after working 10 long hours. I'm irritated to arrive tonight, only to say my room 8 is READY. As I'm excited to go to my room, I find the door closed and as I open it, not expecting anyone in it, to my shock and personally embarrassing moment, I walk in MY BOOKED ROOM to another person in there. First off, I'm here uncomfortable AF that happen. It should not happen. Second, the moment I let the girl Leslie at Front Desk know another person is in my room. She offers me another room. No, that's not the point. I want the room I had booked! That person should know better to not be in a room they did not reserve. It's quite simple. Plus, I had canceled over the phone 8/12/20 w/Presley and she said Thanks for calling in and sounded sweet to cancel my appointment only to find out that NEVER HAPPEN! Told Leslie that tonight, and she said she noted it and will CONFIRM with her that I cancelled or that I didn't come because their records said I was there. HOLY SHIT, so you're going to say I'm LYING, or imply that I'm LYING??? Sure, want me to show proof I couldn't possibly be there or something. It was just the last straw with my patience. I have been promoting this place to all my social media followers, and tell all my friends how much I love being here, but after tonight I AM DONE! I will never want to come back to any location. You guys missed out on a LOYAL person who brought you business by saying how great this place WAS, but no LONGER my favorite place. I have never had a uncomfortable and rude experience besides tonight with Leslie. It seems as though she does not like me, and cuts me off in conversation. Does not apologize for the mistake and thinks me very mad is funny. Like dead serious thinks my feelings on the room I booked, is not a big deal to me. Here's a thing, if you find a favorite room and ONLY BOOK that room, it will most definitely be upsetting to get offered a much smaller room, as the other person who didn't book that room is enjoying the right temperature you want, all while I have to deal with crappy room 4, where the room will not go any higher, you can't resume where you left off on your Netflix because you're in a different room, and I can't lay out because I'm not in my room reserved. No worries reaching out to me, your staff Leslie most definitely didn't show the proper customer service as expected, and to the person who took my room, you're lame for not realizing you didn't belong in that room. Wow! Yesterday was my first time at Perspire, and I absolutely loved it. Prior to the lockdown I was saunaing at this other studio, but I have to say I prefer Perspire. The studio is immaculately clean and the design is minimal yet chic. You can tell they are taking extra cleaning protocols for covid. Paige who helped answer my questions over the phone was absolutely amazing! When I got into the studio, I was greeted by Leslie, and she was so lovely! A bit torn from this place. I found perspire online on google at first and bought one of their special packages that was on sale. The first time I used it was pleasant because the lady I forgot her name was kind and friendly. I had left out of the country for a few weeks and when I got back, I wanted to use one of the 2 sessions I bought. First thing the rude lady on the phone said it was only good for 1 week. I told her why did it say it would expire in August and I had bought it in June. After I told her that she said youre right it actually expires August 11. I had called on August 13 to see If I could use it but she was so rude to me and hung up on me. I don't like writing bad reviews but this place needs to treat their customers a bit better.
