I wish I could give Josh MINUS 10 stars due to poor communication…read more I make a long story short. I asked him how long will it take. He said 2 hours . He never called me when it was done. I called PC AVE. There was no answer. I even texted him. NO rely. I drove to the store and found the store already was closed at 5. I was there at 5:15. The website stated it closes at 6. He did not tell me that he did removed ALLLLLL of my over 2,000 files and 300 settings for my laser engraver business. He just told me everything was OK when I picked my computer up. When I started up my computer to run an etching machine, Found my files and settings were G-O-N-E ! ! ! I called Josh, He told me the hard drive was crashed.. HOW COME he never told me when I picked it up. That was second time happened. I have to start ALLLLLL OVER again ! ! ! ! I am done ! ! ! !

As technology improves and computers become more advanced, the need arises more and more, each day,…read morefor someone to service them, however, PC Avenue should NOT be this place! From the time I gripped the door handle to the second I spoke with an employee, my satisfaction declined lower and lower. The employee, whom I can not describe using a name, gave me the most unsettling feeling I have ever experienced in my forty years. I did not feel threatened in any way, but all I can say is, I would not want to be alone with this man in alleyway past nightfall. I proceeded to tell the man that my son's power supply was malfunctioning. I reminded him that my knowledge of said PC was limited, so it would not be in his best interest to take my word for it. After an Erie yet swift conversation, I left to allow time for PC Avenue to take a look at it. On my way out of the building, the creepy worker said "bye girlie" with an ominous, shiver-inducing grin. 2 hours later, I get a call from PC Avenue. The man on the other end confirmed IT WAS the power supply malfunctioning, he also told me it would be about 190$ for the new replacement. During this call, I did a quick google search for power supplies and saw that the most expensive one I could find was only 100$. I told them that I would order the power supply myself and most likely have my colleague or eldest son put it in. The next day after work I went to PC avenue to pick up my sons' computer. I was NOT handed the old power supply. When I got home, my eldest son attempted to put the new power supply in. After putting in his best work, the computer experienced the same malfunction. It would flash it's LED lights and then abruptly turn off. My son then asked me why the cover for the computer was missing, I was unsure, but after searching the car and the house we concluded that the cover was at PC Avenue. The following day as I was about to ask my co-worker to check my sons' work, I decided to take it to another place in Columbia, (which I will not name in this review) So I did. Upon taking it to the place, the man looked at it and tested it, confirming that the power supply was not the issue, but In fact, most likely the CPU or motherboard. The man recommended that I buy the new motherboard and CPU and have it ordered to his office so he could replace the parts. While telling me this, he googled the pieces for me and gave me the retail price online, not marking it up to earn a profit. He ordered the parts for me and said he would put them in and I could pay him after the fact. That night, I got a call from the man. He told me he was messing around on the computer and bent a prong and the PC kicked on. He canceled the computer parts incoming order and told me I could pick it up the next day. As I picked the computer up and paid the man his well-deserved fee he told me that the back panel cover for the power supply was missing, which I was already aware of. I want to get my son's cover back but PC Avenue is holding it ransom in exchange for a payment which they need for doing a "scan" of my son's PC. I assume that they did not do said scan anyway since the power supply was not the problem in the first place. With this story being told, I can say with sheer confidence that I will never return, or recommend anybody take their computers here unless you want to be lied to, creeped out, and stolen from.

Placed custom order for front door with sidelight. Month later a delivery guy in a box truck is…read moregoing to attempt to move this huge box crate that happens to be broken, to a 2 foot depth lowering platorm. No dolly...anyone could see it was going to end in disaster, he agreed. So he said he would reschedule with help. Home depot called me, said they would uncrate and redeliver. Next day, same guy comes with 2 other guys. One guy sat in cab of truck, offering no help. Teo guys carried door off truck and my trim which was wrapped separately. Trim is scratched up, hickory brown color scratched off and also hole punched in it. Door itself, hickory brown color scratched off about foot from bottom right of door. I called Home depit, had pictures to send them...they agreed about replacing the trim but in regard to my $3000 door, they had to supposedly talk to vendor about any reimbursement. Then when I called back a week later, oh, waiting to hear back from manager. He said he sent his manager an email. I called back week later, oh, both are on vacation. Waited until back from vacation, no one called me. So I called again to speak w dept manager, John, he said he would talk to his manager and call me this past Saturday...no phone call. I even told him I felt like I was getting the run around...oh no, he wouldn't do that....hmmm. I didn't want to order a new door, it would take a couple months to get it. They are hoping the trim will cover it but still, 3 weeks later, going on4 wks, no new trim received....no follow up phones calls. This is the worst customer care I have ever dealt with and never thought Home Depot would be like this. Extremely disappointed, disgusted. $3000 for a door is a lit. Not to mention a week prior U had received another door, $1000, for our out garage entrance, foot threshold deep scratches. Hickory color that they attempted to cover up with a different brown colored paint, not matching....so bad. Bottom line, I suggedt not buying external doors from Home Depot in Columbia, MO
