Let me tell you about Alec and his new gym, Perfect Form LA. I've been into fitness for decades and…read morehave worked with many trainers worldwide, but Alec? He's seriously in a league of his own. He created a program called The Perfect Form-u-la (get it?). Yes, I know, everyone has a program. But this one's the real deal-- evidence-based science integrating exercise, nutrition, and recovery. Gains happen fast and have been consistent. Works perfectly for me. What I appreciate about Alec is that he's super disciplined but also just a great guy to be around. He pushes you hard, but you're also having fun while sweating that last rep. It's no wonder all these celebs and big shots are lining up to train with him. The gym is like a private playground for people serious about getting in shape, with a cool, upscale vibe. The place is decked out with just the right amount of high-end gear, which is awesome, but Alec and his wife, Jess, really make it special. Bottom line? Give Alec and Perfect Form a shot at delivering an exceptional experience and the results you want now.

I found Alec Penix 5 months ago from a friend's recommendation. In our initial meeting, I told him…read moremy goals: to get stronger, to put on muscle, to get more bone density, and to get a more shapely butt and hips. I'm a 48 year-old female who was doing yoga everyday -- generally fit but maybe a little too slender and frail. Alec put me on a training regimen of heavy lifts at my requests - squat variatons, deadlifts, a little bit of upper body (bench presses, shoulder presses, back rows, lat pulldowns). I feel great after every workout -- he pushes me to my limits, but with a smile and gentle encouragement. He makes me believe in myself. I have felt so proud of myself after starting this journey -- I've put on about 5 lbs, mostly muscle. My strength has gone way up in my lower body, plus I can see a big difference -- I definitely have more curves, and I feel better in my body. I definitely recommend Alec highly. He has such a deep knowledge of how the body works and what it takes to train it for specific goals. He is so easy to work with and talk to. He always responds to my texts. And the space is beautiful and welcoming, with great lighting and a very clean environment. There is street parking, but I park at the Walgreens next door and just buy something lol. But to sum it up: having a trainer is for sure an indulgence, but Alec is definitely worth it.

Training with Adam has been wonderful . I never thought I would have a trainer or could afford one…read more. However ,like a lot of people I knew Adam from SHRED appp that I used and still use. I actually never thought in a million years I would see him in person at my gym, but there he was . He saw me using the app and came over and said hi. He told me he still trained at a gym under Sunset Towers and Sunset and offered a free couple sessions to help keep figure out my workout plan and path. I've been training with him for two years now and it's sometimes the singular thing I really can look forward To in a hard week . His app and his workouts are the best . I'm the leanest and strongest I've ever been and he has crafted me into my personal feminine ideal. I have my booty and my curves BUT not the unneeded body fat lol. Every session is different and we target different muscles and different ways to pinpoint them . He is very specific and detailed in my legs especially and knows every exercise in the world seemingly at this point . We laugh a lot and talk about just about anything - that helps me to be distracted through a lot of the strenuous stuff . It's like I've figured out my life and body at the same time haha Adam as many know requires accountability . On days we don't train I usually have assignments to do on my own . He either checks them on the app or in person by asking me for a text update . He also checks on my diet and nutrition weekly and at the start daily . He pretty much is just a huge needed part of your life

He has instilled a level of confidence, discipline and pride that I never had before and it bleeds into everything I do, relationships and especially my business.      In the first two years I lost 20 pounds and had my body fat percent down to a consistent 13-14 on a hydrostatic from a high of 26 percent . The best part is I worked my ass off to get there BUT I maintained it for the next five years as almost an afterthought. Adam instilled the habits and kept on me to keep pushing through adversity and change in my personal life. He does my nutrition , programming and uses the app to make sure I do basically the same workouts we do, but on my own.      Adam also is known for checking in ..... A LOT!  Almost every day I hear from him . Maybe that's because we are basically family now, but he just cares so much and wants you to be your best you. It's cool, it's cool to have one person champion you so hard . I am so grateful to have found Adam , what seems like a lifetime ago

As a mature (for lack of a better term) woman, my goal was to get back on track after having been derailed by an extended period of personal and physical difficulties. My plan was to take one month of private sessions and then return to my old gym and my previous routine. Instead, Jay has found a loyal client and I have found myself in the best physical condition I've been in since my twenties. Jay is knowledgable, intuitive, and determined to see his clients reach their goals. He methodically prepared me for each new step, not allowing me to move further until I was ready. We discussed nutrition and worked out my diet. Fortunately for me, Jay was relentless. Today I am strong and flexible, and my posture has improved significantly. I have met my initial fitness goal - give or take a few tweaks. Although I arrived with years of training and book knowledge, I had never managed to put it all together until now. And, I have not experienced any of the elbow or joint issues I'd experienced in my past training. I only just started so I'll post some before and after photos and a more detailed review as I go, but I wanted to say something now as well because after a few sessions I already notice the differences between him and other trainers and he's the best! I felt like other trainers were secretly judging me for not being able to do certain things.
