I went to personal touch car wash yesterday afternoon. After the car wash my car seem dirtier than it was before. the inside had a dirty spot behind the driver side Head rest. The council was filthy I asked them to make sure things were clean I got a gold car wash which cost me $24 I might as well throw the money in the garbage if you can't want your car washed I guess you got to do it yourself! read more

I don't understand all of the bad reviews. I just signed up for the monthly package and have used it three times already. Each car wash is great! My windows, including the front windshield, have never been cleaner. The vacuum cleaning has complete coverage. My car is spotless when done. I'm very pleased and satisfied with Personal Touch Car Wash so far. I started going here after my normal car wash that I visited for years went completely downhill after some major service changes. I have driven by Personal Touch Car Wash many times, and, today I thought I would give it a try. For a late Wednesday afternoon, the place was very busy. My SUV need a good cleaning from all the street salt. I decided to go with the Gold package for about $24. dollars Here the result from my wash: Good: Windows were clean The body of the car came out fine The not so Good: Interior vacuum could have been better. The main floor boars came out clean, around the center console and cup holders, which I left up to see, not done. Wheels didn't come out clean. Still dirt and film on all wheels Had to pull over and dry the car, could have been dried better. Overall, I'll give it three stars. Will I go back?, not sure. I'm sorry to say that the care to attention and detail has gone downhill over the past few years. I went there today because I was in the area. They did not clean my windows, and, because I was taking orders by an employee to back my car up inside the bay, almost hit another employee who walked behind my car. The COVID changes have nothing to do with it. But the people there were rude (I know how to put my car in neutral), unorganized, and simply did not clean my interior. After 10 years, it's become obvious now is the time to look for a new car wash service. Personal Touch used to live up to its name, now it should be named "Sloppy Touch". I pay for the Gold (or better) service every time, and for $23.00 I expect a clean car, inside and out. The car, inside and outside is never fully clean and I have to redo the inside windows after I get home every time because they re-use the wiping rags so much that they leave streak marks on the inside of the windows. The attendant responsible for the inside windows never wipes the inside of the rear-view window (the most difficult window to reach) unless I ask and I always do. Lately, they leave oily streak marks on the inside of the doors, below the windows and on the dashboard. This is residue from the wiping rags. They don't wipe down the dashboard, center console or steering column as they used to. I read reviews that this place has changed owners and if this is true then it's a clear indication that the new management does not respect their customers nor do they have a clue that good customer service = happy repeat/loyal customers. Speaking of management, I had an issue with my car this week and was told THREE DIFFERENT NAMES for "managers", and that makes me suspicious that staff is directing customer complaints to other staff members because it isn't likely that a small business like this has numerous managers. The cashier staff are rude, immature and the second you ask to discuss an issue, they take an attitude. Obviously they're just there for the paycheck and are too ignorant to realize those paychecks will stop unless they begin treating customers they way they expect to be treated when they are the customer. I've seen them body shame female customers after the customer has walked away from the register. I've seen them roll their eyes when asked a question. I've witnessed them lie to customers, then brag about it once the customer was out of earshot. They're pathetic! This is not a well run business and it's no longer worth my time to continue paying top dollar for low level "service". Avoid Personal Touch in Milford like the plague! Your money is better spent elsewhere and your car deserves to be clean when you drive away. read more

2/9/20 well I left for the Summer for Russell Speeders. I came back to PT for the winter as my wife who stayed with them told me it was better and they had a new manager that cared. Also a second car was now half price for the monthly package. Great I thought. Well this week it seems the new manager packed up and left. It hasn't taken long for this place to fall apart. Employees yell at customers, fighting and swearing at each other and just falling at the basics. To "Corporate" as the staff refers to during their fits you are just as bad. They said you where there this week. Great job you did setting them back to being probably the worst run business in CT I had posted last year on how bad things were getting and was promised a response form Jennifer in their customer service department but that fell short with no follow up. I have had the monthly plan for over 3 years on 2 different vehicles and it was well worth it. The price for a single wash is a bit high for my liking, but if you go monthly you pay for 2 washes and could go daily. Every time I went in a great job was done, platinum package has everything you need for a great looking car. Inside and out with windows wiped down dash done and floors/mats taken care of well even without paying the up charge Courteous employees always and if there was an issue the manager was there to take care of it. The only downside to this place is if there were any cars in front of you expect a bit of a wait. If you are second or 3rd in line it'll be at least 10 minutes. Paid $30 for the platinum wash which includes vacuum, tire shire etc and I couldn't be more disappointed with the service. My tires look awful and you can clearly see they didn't even attempt to vacuum my car. Will never return, especially with so many other good options in the area. Read a few good reviews about this place and considering I'm new in town, I gave it a go. First I was talked into purchasing the more expensive wash and was told my car would look great inside and outside...my cars not that old but I said why not. It was a waste of $40's. The inside was dirty and only the mats were shaken off. The workers were less than interested about making a good impression. Have been going here for over ten years. Always had good service until new management took over. I went to take my car for an oil change and was told to come back because someone wanted to go on lunch. I understand people need to have a break. However, there should be enough staff to take care of customers as they arrive. I told the man that I could not come back as I don't live in town anymore and had to go to work. So, he told me to give him a minute. There was only one person there getting their oil changed and there was no one getting a car wash. I saw maybe two employees and that's it. After waiting for ten minutes for the man to come back he checks out the only customer who was there and then disappears again. I waited another ten minutes and decided that I am leaving. You should not treat customers this way. Especially people who have been coming to this location for longer than the people who are managing and working there. The staff are rude and inattentive. I will never be back. I went to Valvoline down the road and was in and out within 15 minutes without having to get out of my vehicle. He actually reached out to the manager even though she wasn't working to resolve my issue. Went there this Saturday. Beautiful day so they should've expected a crowd. 2 guys drying cars when they came out. There wasn't a single panel, window, or tire that was clean. Every one of them had some dirt on them. Grill and rims are not even close to clean. VIP in Stratford is a little more expensive but much better end result. read more

Personal Touch really personally touched my heart... when my oil was being changed, he brought to my attention my dirty filters, topped off my windshield wiper fluid, and was super friendly. The man servicing my vehicle really went the extra mile. I'm definitely ditching my usual place to get my car serviced and safety checked. I also got a free carwash which was fantastic. I stopped here because of a coupon that I received in the mail. I drove up to the OIL CHANGE segment of the establishment and a individual approached my car and asked what I needed. I expressed I was there for an oil change and that I had a coupon for $10 off and a free car wash, he said OKAY. He had me pull up a bit and then move to the waiting room. Once in the waiting area I was told the car needed "special oil" as stated by the manufacturer. I was told this by some other associate of the place. So I informed him I had a coupon for $10 dollars off and a free car wash, he too said "OKAY". I agreed with using the special oil and they continued the work they started. Once completed I was called in to pay for the service, as he was ringing me up and explaining the charges I remind them that I HAD A COUPON FOR $10 OFF AND A FREE CAR WASH he said OKAY. The worker continued ringing me up and asked for my credit card, so I reached into my wallet and handed it to him. He put the credit card information into his computer and then hand me sign the receipt. So I did and then I asked him " what do I do with the coupon, do I give it to you or to the car wash associate"? He said "Oh you should have givin that to me before I rang you out, its to late to use it now". I said "I told both of you 3 times I had a coupon and both said OKAY". So at this point in time the first guy I spoke with walked over and looked at my coupon and said "[it no good anyway it for other oil] At this point I stated well one of you guys should have told me when I said that I HAD A COUPON (3 times.) He then threw his hands in the air, shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes and walked away. I was dismayed by his lack of professionalism. The second guy came back into the picture and I asked him for a manager. He said that he would bring the manager over, but for me to get my car to the car wash side for my free car wash and he would send him to me. Once on the car wash section I spoke with the woman at the counter (she was WONDERFUL and helpful) she called over Danny the manager. Danny listened and comprehended my misadventure and quickly rectified the situation by recompensing my credit card the $10 that the other guys screwed up. So to summarize the establishment and my time there I would convey the following... 1. Horrible customer service, OIL CHANGE SIDE 2. The workers think they are doing there customers a favor. 3. Danny and the woman at the carwash counter did well to regain my patronage for another attempt for them to prove they have the customer service that a place called " PERSONAL TOUCH" should have.. Just had a interior detail, and car wash for $94. My interior was pretty bad from transporting our 2 dogs around in the backseat when I dropped the car off. They did a great job. they were friendly, scheduled this same day, price was OK for 3 hours work. Interior looks almost brand new. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I was just there today and I wanted an oil change the. So I drive up behind the cones and the lady who was right next to me on my left yells you can stay there that's fine. Somebody came out the man looked like hes been to way too many Van Halen concerts in his time with an attitude saying you don't see the cones here. I said yeah I see the cones, the lady told me I can park here he looks at me starts swearing under his breath but I can still hear it and walked away not removing the cones which I was parked in front of which were right in front of the garage. Like seriously where am I supposed to go across the street to get an oil change? After waiting for some time nobody came back out to redirect me I just left. Im not sure if the detail shop doesn't listen, they're dumb, or just lazy. I had the interior of my vehicle "detailed" there and was not satisfied with the job. I brought it back and pointed out that they needed to simply remove the dirt from the seat belt buckles. They only did the two front buckles! They failed to do this simple task TWICE. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. When I came in to get my car washed, I was immediately put off by the poor customer service. Nobody greeted me when I got there and once I pulled in they didn't even ask what kind of car wash I wanted. They were incredibly sloppy when vacuuming my car and I was already irritated with how poor their customer service was. I walked in to pay at the cashier center and the cashier didn't look up from what she was doing until she finished her task. No greeting, no eye contact, just stapling her receipts together. Once she finished I told her I had a coupon on my phone for $5 off my car wash. She told me I couldn't use it because it has to be printed out. I double checked the coupon from my phone and no where on it did it say that the coupon had to be printed in order to be valid. So I told her that and her response was, "There are scissors around the coupon." Scissors and perforated lines may help you while you are cutting it out, but so many other places of business accept coupons from your phone so I explained that no where on the website says the coupon is invalid if it is not printed. She was rude and had no desire to help fix the misunderstanding. The owner came out and proceeded to talk about how there are scissors around the coupon. UGH! He continued on to tell me about all the changes they are making to their website and blah blah blah.. that doesn't help to fix the current situation. Thanks for fixing the problem once I have already overpaid for a mediocre car wash. I even told him that I am a first time customer and specifically came out of my way to come to this car wash because of the coupon I had and still his response was that there are scissors around the coupon. The customer service is here is AWFUL and the car was NOT worth it. They were sloppy with the interior, barely cleaned windows, and was just overall so disappointed with this place. Update - to respond to the comment - I did respond to the manager with the information requested and never heard a reply. I actually still have the texts which show I responded. Very disappointing experience. Got in my car after the car was washed and my door wouldn't close - look down and a metal strip that is part of the detail of the door frame is bent up preventing the door from being closed. When the manager came over he was very quick to tell me water has been getting under it and that's why it was coming up and when I asked why it was now bent though he said if his guys did it they didn't realize it. Then told me I'd probably have to pay the dealer to get a new piece. I just stood there dumbfounded at the poor customer service. To add insult to injury while I was driving home I notice in the car that it was barley vacuumed so not only did the owner not offer any refund or discount (never mind any accountability) his workmanship is also poor. Wow, this place has really gone down hill! I've been going here for over 20 years and it was consistently the best car wash in the area. Staff was excellent and cared about customer service. I heard a rumor that it sold to a new owner and I can certainly see the difference. Bad service. I had a broken windshield with glass in the car. I asked them to vacuum the remaing pieces. One guy took 2 minutes and sent it through the wash. There was still quite a bit of glass inside and the trunk was never touched. Watch out if you get an oil change there. They told me that my steering fluid was very dirty and needed changing. I had changed it the week prior. Take a few minutes yourself and detail your own car. read more

I've gone here for years and had a membership here for years. Even recommended alot of people to go here. I was going to leave a review sooner but decided not to not to be rude. After hearing another horror story today, I decided it's time to warn others. Back when I used to go everyday they used to go above and beyond and did an actual good job detailing your vehicle. They have since had an entire new crew of workers there and it seems they have new management. They now do an absolutely horrible job. You are better off letting the rain wash your vehicle for free. Not to mention their interior detail which used to be awesome.... It's not even worth reviewing.... Its seriously THAT much of a joke. More importantly they got whatever dressing they use all over the inside of my windshield and at night it was basically a hazard. They don't deserve a dime. Literally crew members were arguing over who's job it was to do specific tasks, cars were so piled up outside waiting to be completed they shut the machine down. I had my car detailed today. It looks like it is new. It was very easy to do business. My daughter dropped the car off because I couldn't get there and the fact that all arrangements were made by phone made it easy for me to do business. The car looked fantastic, as promised by Curtis. He was an absolute pleasure from the time I first called to the time that I picked up the car. My daughter, who works in a restaurant left over $500.00 in the car. I would have never known that the money was there. The fact that all of the employees were honest and told me about the money speaks for itself. We have been taking 3 cars a week here for several years. Last month the ripped the windshield wipers and damaged the windshield of a brand new car and after several voicemails, texts messages, and leaving messages with there employees they have not replied back as to when this repair is going to get done.
